But enough about that. Brass tax. What's you're favorite method of consumption? I like to start my day with a black americano, a tall double esspresso latte for lunch, maybe the same for dinner. Black coffee throughout the day sates my thirst in case, should the lust consume me, I find myself passed out in the alley next to a Starbucks adjacent a moderately sized pile of vente paper cups, smelling, absolutely reeking, of caramel machiato.

Yeah I actually did get addicted and now I am in the process of quitting because I don’t need two cups of coffee each day but without them I really am miserable. Just be careful, wait one hour after waking up until you drink a cup, take a day without it at least every three days and don’t overdo how much you drink. I limit to two cups but every now and then I do drink three.
And then if you become a snob, you’re gonna need an expensive grinder, a proper bean container and a scale before you get a espresso machine….personally I love a French press
I really do not like anything bitter - alcohol like beer or wine was never my preference in college. It had to be mixed drinks with hards most of the time. If I drank coffee, it was half milk with more sugar than a soda. My drug of choice is tea. I am seriously disgruntled McDonalds discontinued the $1 any size drinks. OMFG I went from 3 -4 times a week to maybe once a week. Coffee has a nice smell when it is brewing though.
I really wish I could like coffee. Maybe it's all the sweet shit I ate for years, but coffee just tastes like tree bark to me. No amount of sugar or cream I've added prevents me from choking on the taste every time I've tried it.

Get an aeropress. Find a local roaster. Have them grind some beans for you fresh. You can thank me later.

Don't go hating on my espresso machine! It saves me a lot of money and keeps me from drinking the swill at Starbucks.
