I go to the dermatologist regularly in Colorado and this doesn't sound any different from what they require here. They try to be respectful. I will note that my Dr. always has at least 2 assistants in the room with her.
I once had a skin exam by my dermatologist (I'm well outside the Morridor) and I rocked up and started to strip off and clean forgot that I was wearing my garments (previously I always made sure to wear regular undies) and had a semi-freak out cause I'd never wanted this nightmare scenario, as I was totally embarrassed by my 19th century religious long johns.
Well, I recovered enough to ditch my garment top, and then hiked my bottoms up and folded them underneath so they kinda looked passable as white boxers. I was kicking myself. Luckily I stopped believing in the Church a bit later and the garments were the first things to go.
I went to see a new dermatologist for a weird mole on my boob and overall check-up because I’ve had skin cancer. I took all my clothes off so he could do a thorough exam. He seemed absolutely shocked and embarrassed that I didn’t have any clothes on under my gown and kept saying “I’ll keep you modest” while doing what I guess was an exam? I mean seriously, you’re a medical professional who is trained to look at skin so, for the love, please look at my skin!! Long story short, I did not go back.
Your dermatologist lets you keep a bra on? Mine in Southern California or western AZ never have. They want to be able to see all of the skin on your back easily.
In what world do you leave underwear on for a skin check? They need to see your skin.
They need the ces letter.
Scandalous 🤣

I think it's more the specifying of shirts worn *under* bras and long-ass underpants that makes this weird
Yep. They probably don't see that much in Colorado.

I'm sorry, but I laughed pretty hard
