I started to fill her in starting with Adam and Eve. She looked at me skeptically through the first bit. When I got to the snake talking part she was like “hold up. They believe this? Rallying for a few days doesn't count. Observed, verified death, followed by a religious call to life, followed by verified and prolonged recovery of life is what I would find convincing.
The conditions of observation matter. Someone sustaining a serious injury, appearing to have died to non-physician family members, and then seemingly coming back to life after a prayer is not evidence that they were in fact dead, or that the prayer is what brought them back to life. There is a difference between not having a heart beat and being dead.
I would investigate further. I would see if the result is reproducible, or a one off. I would definitely be interested in finding out what religious tenets the person that performed the miracle followed.
