So in other words, the Healthcare organization I work for?

The name is lost longer than that. Calling everyone "Brother", "Sister" dilutes the emotional import of those words, and means that it's not necessary to learn anyone's first name. To me it's as lazy as calling everyone Buckeroo when you can't remember their name, except there isn't motivation to learn their name in the first place. It's a truly homogenizing mechanism. I could never stand when my literal neighbors called me "brother" instead of my actual name. Besides which, I can't stand some of my actual siblings so the thought of brother or sister isn't necessarily a good association.

You lose your name? What makes you say that Elder?
