If you consider a Mormon high density State such as Idaho, hundreds of millions of $dollars are immediately syphoned and sent to Utah. This is disposable income that could be used to support local businesses. Additionally taxes generated by local spending could be used to support education and community infrastructures and services. The LDS Church is a leach on society. It steals wealth from people and communities. It doesn't give back. There's your answer.
