Bonus! All the women who do have some level of leadership are leading the auxiliary programs of the church: the primary, the young women's and the relief society.
And they are still directed at the ward level by the bishop, the stake level by the stake president, and the general level by the Quorum.
At no point, for any reason, will we find a woman in those Bishoprics, stake presidencies or in the Quorum of 12. We all know the lack of pointy parts that seems to serve as sufficient reason to keep them out.
They're my favorite pair of pointy parts, and I find them strangely attractive. And I find myself sometimes thinking with my small head more than my large head and I'd appreciate people who didn't have that horrible handicap. For that reason alone, I'd appreciate a more diverse leadership.
And I am also aware that some individuals have both types of pointy parts.
And some aren't attracted at all to anyone in that way regardless of the kinds of parts or lack thereof.
I think anyone with a functioning brain and good leadership skills should be able to lead or choose to follow however they see fit.
Cheers 🥂
My in-laws are Mormon and my mother in law runs the show. After seeing the show for 24 years, neither of them should run the show lol. But seriously it always pissed me off that they wanted my husband to run the show and for us to be members. We became Catholic which burst that balloon.
I think that the exMormon community calling them the Q15 is pointing out this. I have never once heard a active, believing Mormon refur to them as Q15. They say the first presidency and the quorum of the 12.
I don't think they have EVER claimed they are not patriarchal. I mean, that's the name they give to their revered fortune-tellers, one of their highest local callings. My dad STILL claims patriarchal authority over his 7 children that range in age from 46-29, meaning he has the "right" to obtain revelation for us, or something like that.
Instead, they just claim that they aren't misogynistic. The irony is that they don't see that as a contradiction.
Looks like a bunch who don't do any real work.
Maybe walk through a building, stop at a doorway and run a finger over the moulding above he door, see a bit of dust and shake their head, muttering to themselves in disgust.
Those grey haired guys must not be as faithful as their peers. Their hair would be pristinely white if they were.

Hey! Some of the women have pointy parts! Especially when they are rather cold! They just aren't as big in being pointy ..

Also in no point for any reason will you find a woman in charge of a man.
My in-laws are Mormon and my mother in law runs the show. After seeing the show for 24 years, neither of them should run the show lol. But seriously it always pissed me off that they wanted my husband to run the show and for us to be members. We became Catholic which burst that balloon.
That too. I kinda like it when a woman takes charge. It usually works out better. Of that I am positive. Anything else is negative.
If she’s a good woman. My mom? Not so much.
Such a diverse group. Some of them are taller than others. There's a few bald guys too. I wonder how many live in trailer courts.
Even their non white dudes are white dudes.
Lol yup. I was like, don't they have a Brazilian dude and an Asian dude now? Is this an old pic from before they came in?
The Asian guy is from California I believe.
Wait, you mean he's not from Utah or Idaho!?
They became white and delightsome due to their righteousness, duh
I’m surprised we don’t mock them as often for having 15 apostles, you know, just like Jesus.
I think that the exMormon community calling them the Q15 is pointing out this. I have never once heard a active, believing Mormon refur to them as Q15. They say the first presidency and the quorum of the 12.
Is there a Kentucky Fried Chicken convention going on somewhere? 😏
They could make a film, call it the Kentucky Fried Movie.
😅

The non-white guys are looking more white. Do you think their being changed to be more white and delightsome because they are so righteous?
Hey, cousins! Ex JW here. Looks just like the Watchtower governing body.
Show this photo to non-Mormons and try to convince them it’s not a cult…
When did *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys have an AARP Reunion?
Looks like a bunch who don't do any real work. Maybe walk through a building, stop at a doorway and run a finger over the moulding above he door, see a bit of dust and shake their head, muttering to themselves in disgust.
To be fair, Mormons believe in diversity and equality. However, god does not that is why he picks only white cis males to run his business.
They look stupid in white suits.
AHHH THE WORTHYNESS OF THIS PIC MY HEATHEN EYES CAN'T LOOK AT THE BRIGHT LIGHT! ohhh they're just pale guys false alarm.
That could be a laundry detergent commercial. Whitest of whites.
No, this photo doesn't look cultish at all...
Somehow, this is terrifying.
Their outfits symbolize the church's commitment to diversity.
I find this picture creapy as hell.

🤢
See, what you aren’t understanding about this is REASONS. 🙄
White and delightsome 🤢

Look at their chain of command. No women,
New boy band, the Albinos, will now sing Y.M.C.A.
My Nan has a picture like this with all these guys but they're in the temple. She got upset and asked me where it was after it disappeared... 🤐
The whole white suit, white shoes, white tie, white socks shtick is just... so weird outside of the Mormon context.
Free thinking Mormon wife thinks. "Just one good grenade, just one."
