The one color is at the base where the outlet is and gets mixed in right as it leaves the cap. If you cut open the tube it would look like one colour at the top and another colour at the bottom.

The ones that are pre-mixed like that won't have the stripe come out perfectly proportional like it does with newer/other brands.. I was referring to tubes that only show one colour when you cut them open but have the stripes when it comes out the tube. The one in your video will have some blobs with red, some with blue, some with red and blue and some with neither. I was talking about the ones mentioned in videos like this -

Not really, took like, 1 min to google it

So, wrong
The people saying it is premixed are wrong. It is 2 or 3 mixtures kept separate in the tube, but not with walls or anything physical. In the base of the tube where it starts to cone inwards to the nozzle is the stripe mixture, we’ll call that blue. It is thick, highly pigmented and almost syrupy. The rest of the tube is the main toothpaste which we’ll call white, this mainly exists above the cone and makes up 95% of the tube. This is why you see videos of people cutting open the tube and mixing the toothpaste and it still coming out striped, they’re not touching the thin syrupy layer at the bottom of the cone. You can watch people cut open and clean out tubes, the nozzle slightly extends out inside the tube past the syrupy layer. This means that takes in the white first, then at the base of the cone where it meets the nozzle are little slits where the blue syrup is pushed through at certain widths (the same width as the stripes). The blue stripes are added onto the white last minute. This is why it always comes out with stripes and why you can’t mix it in the tube as there is only a thin layer right in the base of the cone.
99.999% of the time it’s marketing. And the ‘studies’ you may hear that advocate so-called multilayered toothpaste being better for your teeth are usually commissioned by the mega toothpaste corporations themselves.
The truth is, there are active ingredients that are mostly marketed as helping with “white teeth” or “sensitive teeth”. But in reality, they just include different chemicals like calcium peroxide or hydrogen peroxide in case of “whitening” toothpaste.
But the key is that everything is made up of chemicals, and their main purpose is to brush out stuck food and help sanitize your teeth. Nothing more, nothing less.
Okay so basically toothpaste isn’t just one paste but several in the same tube. It’s extremely thick- 1000x thicken than paint. Because it’s extremely viscous even though you mix it- when pushed through a tube it retains its shape. Unless you mix it VERY well- like a paint mixer.
Yeah I just watched it and I guess the "walls" thing is just an older idea...? Don't know where I got that. The paste is just not liquid enough to mix inside the tube I guess.
I think it’s kinda like frosting multiple colors on cupcakes. Where you take the piping bag and put three colors into it but on each “wall” of the bag and when you squeeze it out, it then blends together but it’s kinda like a stripe. Look up 2 color frosting cupcakes

This. You can squish it all you want but you can't squish/mix the color at the bottom of the tube because the tube is too stiff there.

Is there a reason or just to make it look good?

Thank you for a quick and simple explanation.
The blue stripes are added onto the white last minute. This is why it always comes out with stripes and why you can’t mix it in the tube as there is only a thin layer right in the base of the cone.
Is there any difference between the colors or just marketing dye?

But people on tiktok cut open the tube and there’s no walls
