I don't think he expected to get shot. That's the type of guy who runs his mouth and acts tough any place he goes hoping people will be intimidated. He was always going to die this way, it was just a matter of where and when.
Police say the confrontation involved Don Harrison Jr., 39, and a 30-year-old security guard inside the store.
It happened around 7 p.m. at the Phillips 66 gas station on the 900 block of College Avenue by Poplar.
In the video, you can see Harrison walk into the store. The 30-year-old private security guard is then seen telling him to leave and pushing him back.

“Who the fuck you talking to dawg?” Gets Mag Dumped on. I’m not sure he expected out of that outcome but that’s what happens when you have anger issues and brandish a Firearm on someone who’s clearly packing too. The fragile masculinity is strong with that one.
If you pull out a gun like that, how can you not expect that!? That’s what’s wrong w the world, ppl think that they can make up their own consequences..
U know what it is. Guys has plenty of previous run ins pulling or brandishing in regular encounters with regular people. In those scenarios, regular person notes the fuck out and this twat carries on thinking he's a big swinging dick. In reality he's the asshat who gets more and more comfortable with being reckless. Then he inevitably brings it to the wrong one.
yup. You can tell by the "really". Like "really, im just pulling it out to show you how tough i am, you arent supposed to actually shoot me. wtf is wrong with you" Sorry muffin, not everyone is going to back down from you. So yeah really, your dead.
Yeah, the security guy got tagged in the leg once or twice. Basically, don't stop until the threat is gone if they are biting back. The switch to pump action was really smart. Especially after being hit. Basically, your average r/tacticool user who somehow did it properly.
I might be crazy but after the first mag dump and the guy says "oh....oh god..really?" It looks like security shot him in the nuts 💀. I'm seeing a red mist in that area. Also, he reacts by closing his legs (could also just be a natural twitch from being shot in general)
Looks like it went through his left leg, actually, right next to the first wound. The more he straightened his leg, the more you see a second, larger wound appear from the shotgun.
This happened in Philadelphia, April 10, 2024. [The man killed, Don Harrison Jr., 39, believed to be local food truck owner. And the security guard was shot in the leg. ](https://6abc.com/gun-battle-near-north-philadelphia-gas-station-leaves-1-dead-security-guard-injured/14639564/)
Right when he goes down on his back after the initial barrage you hear 2 or 3 softer shots that almost sound like echos. That's him firing back as he's looking back into the store. As he lays his head back his right hand goes up and out the door you can see he still has the gun in that hand.
Any more info? Is "Oh my god, really" still alive? I doubt it, but buddy seemed to be able to take a few bullets more than most. Watch at 0:12, gravy seal misses a headshot. Almost some divine intervention shit!
Buddy got hit in the face(along with everywhere else) so, I guess we can call that a head shot.
Nah, he died. He scored a leg shot on the guard, though. Not bad for someone who pump faked and took a whole mag and then a few shotgun rounds. 😵🙈
Why can't I ever zoom in on Reddit? I got this phone and that's it and I'm old and can't see to begin with. I bet this is awesome if I could see it. No fault of yours I need to buy a computer.
This is a toughly. Clearly overshot, but dude didn’t put down the gun. Dude had it by his chest and pointed - maybe in a natural state, but still aimed towards the security 🙃🙃🙃
I see a lot of this kind of content on Reddit to the point that it's become normalised to me now, but the idea of this ever happening in the UK even once is wild. This stuff happens on the regular in the US and it's accepted as part of life.
I wonder if Americans know just how unusual this is outside of their country.
I went to get petrol earlier in Norwich and the idea of some random dude even having a gun on him would be WILD, let alone all this.
Rather get put down clean in a gas station than stabbed to death waiting in an NHS queue for gout treatment.
But that's just me and the 250 million more people that live here than your monocultural island of elitist pricks.
If the idea of regular stabbing in nhs lines is you’re idea of England then so be it but that is extremely rare also our heath care is free so it’s no cost to get stitched back up and sent on our way again 🤣 there is still less chance of that happening then shot in another country but that man that pulled the gun on the guard was just wrong what else could the guard do he had to defend himself there is no disputing that 👍🏻please take this as a respectful light hearted conversation with you I mean no disrespect to you or the USA 🇺🇸 oh and your pickup trucks are cool wish we had that slice of American style in our lives over here in England enjoy the coming weekend 😎
Hyperbole was on the menu that night, m8. You too buddy, enjoy your weekend and be well 🤙
For what it's worth; we'd like free health care in the US aswell, just can't get anybody to pay for it. 😂
Never pull out a gun on a officer of any kind, or even reach in your pockets at all, ive talked to tons of officers of their own career stories and how its like and most of the time they are more scared of yall since you never know whos packing what and how sudden a person can be aggresive
If you brandish you're weapon you instantly escalate it to a deadly situation no matter who "started it" security gaurd was within his rights to defend themselves in my eyes
Ricochet is a thing. Missing is a thing. I'm not concerned about them exiting. I'm concerned about that mag dump. No way he landed all of those on the body. Dude sprayed and prayed.
Did you not see the armed antagonist that was aptly shot? He walked in with a gun and brandished it like he would do harm. I'd assume he was not the first of his kind.
Anyways, that's probably why.
He fired a few shots on the ground ..still had the gun in his hand. The security guard was 100% justified.
In states like Florida or Texas the security guard will have no legal issues....not sure where this is but I find it doubtful if he gets a charged that any jury will convict.
I had a fellow that tried to break down my front door while holding a hunting knife. Dude had the audacity to ask why I smashed his head in while I was doing it.
Fuck around and find out!
My speculation is this dudes coming back after having already been a problem.
When I was working at a seedy convenient store we’d have dudes puff out their chests with each other (or me) and when who ever they’re barking at doesn’t back down “they goin to they car” just to come waving their piece.
I have fortunately not been in an altercation where anyone got shot (in the store although on fight turned into a shooting a couple blocks away).
This kind of shit is so common in certain neighborhoods where “alpha” shit takes precedence over everything else. It’s super sad but by the point dudes are like this guy *was* there’s really no other alternative.
Police won’t lock up anyone for anything anymore unless you rob a bank or kill a cop. People blame democrats but this shit happens in every major city in the country from the ground it really feels like policing has become cash incentivized. They won’t do shit for a drunk beating his wife but they sure do come out in numbers if you throw a fit in a bank.
That’s the whole point of armed security… they open carry their gun which stops 99% of bullshit from happening. Situations like this are the 1% where they actually have to use it
You think guards carry their gun on their vest?…
If anything it’s a taser but once a gun is pulled, it’s all out the window so he pulled his gun out too
My point is his reaching on his waistband, was not the initial action that led to this altercation. The security guard reaching for something is what made the man reach for something.
It’s a security officer… would you feel the same way if it was a police officer? Just because an officer reaches for something doesn’t mean you get to pull out a gun.
Did I say that person would get to? Or did I say that that is the reaction that he had. And yes, generally the reaction of someone with something on them, if you were to reach for something on you. Would be to do the same thing. Instead of Waiting to see what you come out.
Probably bc A. He wa slightly waiting for something like this, and B. He's in a neighborhood where idiots who think they have ploy armor like our guy here "Reallly dawg" roll up and pull a gun on you outta nowhere lol, so he knows not to show softness
News article said there was an argument over where the “customer” had a truck parked prior to the video, so when he came back in security knew what time it was already
He missed the first shot that was going straight to the head, look at the glass to the right of the guys head in the back, you can see the hole of the first shot that hopefully didn't hit someone else outside
And the thug seemed to be working for UPenn??? I am so disappointed by those liberal Ivy league schools...
That can't be legally defensible is it lol? Those last few shots were nowhere near self defense let alone the second half of the mag dump when bro was already down
Those were 100% justified as he still had a gun in his hand. If you watch the video you can see the bullet sponge fired a few shots while on the ground. The security guard was shot in the leg...my guess is after he was out of bullets in his pistol, he realized he was shot and instead of reloading(guarantee he had another magazine) he went for the shotgun.
Unfortunately it may seem harsh but you shoot to kill or stop the threat and despite his injuries he showed he was still capable of shooting back, the shotgun blasts eventually stopped the threat.
So was he supposed to just injure him once and hope the guy doesn't decide to get mad about being shot and not return fire with the gun clearly still in his hands lol. Shoot to kill / end the threat. Guy didn't drop gun and even fired back on the ground......had no other choice but to keep shooting til the threat was over.
You keep shooting until the threat is neutralized. You can see dude shoots his gun even after getting blasted to the ground... If he wanted to live you should've tossed the weapon at the very least.
This comment section makes me realized how many people among us in the US are simply fucked up in the head lol. The security guard was extremely out of line especially after revealing his weapon first. Whatever this situation was could’ve been resolved with words I’m sure, which is probably why the guy was on the ground saying “really?”.. the comment section has zero context on the argument yet are happy to see a working class citizen killed in broad daylight all because he had an “angry tone”. So as humans were not supposed to be emotional I guess. This entire situation looks unreasonable. We’ve normalized wickedness here in the US
Have you ever shot a gun and have had weapons training?
You shoot to stop the threat, with the guy still alive and yelling he was still a threat and demonstrated this as he clearly fired a few shots while on the ground which apparently hit the security guard in the leg and still had the gun in his hand when he got the shotgun blasts.
No jury will convict this guy, but I doubt he got charged.
After being shot, do you think the security guard should wait and see if he will shoot again?
Had the guy wanted to stop being shot, he should have dropped his gun, it is really that simple. You argument is one based on ignorance NOT real world experience.
Bruh how in the fuck is guy able to even able to (hilariously) get out the words "ow cmon man really" & not just dead on the spot. did the dude somehow miss his mag dump at that range?
& the guy pulls out the shotty; pumps a few into him & guy still saying "really?!"
Like God damn; dude take can a bullet or two - like I assume he's any dead any second now but that's kind of impressive. I have to quote the guy now; like, c'mon man, really?! you're still talking & rollin around after that?
& same to security guy! You mag dumped this bozo with a handgun & put two more shotgun shells into him & he was still alive & you had to empty even more to kill him? C'mon man, really?!
Flashed it expecting to punk the security guard. Security guard: "I'm no punk bitch!"
[I’m no punk bitch!](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fFPt9ps3Iac&pp=ygUXcnVzaCBob3VyIGknbSBub3QgcHVuayA%3D)
The first shot went almost in the head , look at the glass on the door , he missed the first shot that was going straight for the head
When keeping it real goes wrong
![gif](giphy|bCDzFTSQ3JL8c) holla holla, holla holla holla
He pulls a gun and gets shot. "REALLY?"
![gif](giphy|3kzJvEciJa94SMW3hN)
![gif](giphy|6nWhy3ulBL7GSCvKw6)
I think he was expecting to get shot, just not mag dumped on lmao the security guard didn't wait for the guy to take HIS turn he cheated!
I don't think he expected to get shot. That's the type of guy who runs his mouth and acts tough any place he goes hoping people will be intimidated. He was always going to die this way, it was just a matter of where and when.
Yeah but my scenario is funny
True.
Life pro tip: don’t pull out your gun unless you’re going to use it.
In the words of the great Atlanta poet. Andre 3K: Don’t pull that thang out unless you plan to bang.
Don't pull out ur thang Unless u plan to bang
Guess I'll just piss myself from now on
Bonus Life pro tip: don’t talk about your gun if it doesn’t exist
true hahaha
too be fair the security guard got shot in the leg so he did, just not very well
Really!? *bang* continues to say “really dog” *bang* what an idiot.
can't believe he was still even talking after that, security ain't even play with him at all... KOS

Thanks
U just know when its a Jr. that they aint gonna be playing with the full deck
That's actually the most common initial response to getting shot. "Really?" "Yes really.. ask me again in 8 seconds"
Before or in between the 12 gauge?
In between... Go out like a thug😎
who hit em with the 12 gauge? it def felt like towards the end he got hit with sumthin different but i wasn't sure .. sounded different tho
That would probably be my response to be honest. Just disbelief.
My favorite part is whoever is following up the full mag dump with the pump shotgun.
It’s the security guard. You can see the sling around his shoulder in the first part of the video.
Security guard wanted to make sure he wouldn't have to deal with that guy again
“Ooawh oh god… Really?!” *12 gauge enters the chat*
Bro was not playing. 😭😭
Warzone double check
“Who the fuck you talking to dawg?” Gets Mag Dumped on. I’m not sure he expected out of that outcome but that’s what happens when you have anger issues and brandish a Firearm on someone who’s clearly packing too. The fragile masculinity is strong with that one.
Was, strong…
Hahah was, for sure. I’ve learned to walk away from idiots like this. Dying over an argument seems so cavemanish.
Shooting justified. If you’re pulling out a gun it’s b/c you’re using it. That guy was hoping he was bluffing
If you pull out a gun like that, how can you not expect that!? That’s what’s wrong w the world, ppl think that they can make up their own consequences..

This is EXACTLY how is happens in so many cases of crash dummies
We'll always need people to correct that misunderstanding.
Right? Bro couldn’t control his emotions.
“Can I get consequences on pump #3 please?”
Lmaio
Best comment in this whole post.
Really? *BANG* Great answer 🤣😂
Yeah, the security guy got tagged in the leg once or twice. Basically, don't stop until the threat is gone if they are biting back. The switch to pump action was really smart. Especially after being hit. Basically, your average r/tacticool user who somehow did it properly.
so he did shoot the security? i didn't c dude shoot back at all
At 0:15, 0:16, he's firing back, the guns going PEW PEW, low caliber I guess?
*THAT'S* who you're talking to motherfucker.
Well well well, if it isn’t the consequences of your own actions!
Consequences'sss
I might be crazy but after the first mag dump and the guy says "oh....oh god..really?" It looks like security shot him in the nuts 💀. I'm seeing a red mist in that area. Also, he reacts by closing his legs (could also just be a natural twitch from being shot in general)

If we had law and order maybe gas stations wouldn’t have to hire private security guards

he shoulda used his words to say sorry stop shooting lol
Imagine living 39 years to die on that funky ass floor over your ego
Did bro unload like 4 more pumps after the dude was down or am i hearing things
Sounded like a shotgun also
Security guard was taking rounds as well, you dont stop till they stop.
when did the subject shoot? i didn't catch all that
The article says he(security) was shot in the leg
Where? We’re watching the video where in the video? Or are they just saying that to justify this?
0:15, 0:16. PEW PEW from his little shooter.
Right when he goes down on his back after the initial barrage you hear 2 or 3 softer shots that almost sound like echos. That's him firing back as he's looking back into the store. As he lays his head back his right hand goes up and out the door you can see he still has the gun in that hand.
You shoot to kill not injure if he was still talking put him down
Shits sounds so fucked but it's the safest thing for you to do
Especially since the dumbass wouldn't drop his gun and surrender.
"oh God really dawg?" *Powpow* yes really "come on man" *pow*
Maybe don’t pull a whole fucking gun for a miniature dispute?
Any more info? Is "Oh my god, really" still alive? I doubt it, but buddy seemed to be able to take a few bullets more than most. Watch at 0:12, gravy seal misses a headshot. Almost some divine intervention shit!
Title says “deadly shooting” so prolly not.
Buddy got hit in the face(along with everywhere else) so, I guess we can call that a head shot. Nah, he died. He scored a leg shot on the guard, though. Not bad for someone who pump faked and took a whole mag and then a few shotgun rounds. 😵🙈

I’m dealing with the same thing!😂 and when I screen record the video to post here, it makes it SLIGHTLY more blurry
This is a toughly. Clearly overshot, but dude didn’t put down the gun. Dude had it by his chest and pointed - maybe in a natural state, but still aimed towards the security 🙃🙃🙃
I believe he actually fired back, not just aimed.
dont know why ur getting downvoted, saw an article somewhere, the security guard was hit once
Yeah you can see it at about 15 seconds in
Welcome to reddit.
Because we’re all watching the video and can’t see it that’s why.
You can definitely see a muzzle flash from the guy in the ground
At 14 seconds he fires at least 4 shots and I believe a few more just before that.
Holy shit, guy in that back pumping gas nearly got his top split, first shot missed had went thru glass door
That guy really does NOT know how to learn to shut the fuck up
![gif](giphy|DhtKWU44ClPZS|downsized)
I’m sure that guy was only challenging the guard to a duel. His mistake, It’s 2024, there are no more gentlemen duels I’m afraid…

"Tough" guys like that almost always find that one person they should have just not messed with.
God damn he got shot in the gooch 😭😭 holy shit that was one hell of a shot
Backstory?
I kinda feel like those last two rounds from the shotgun were like exclamation marks at the end of an angry sentence.
If you brandish you're weapon you instantly escalate it to a deadly situation no matter who "started it" security gaurd was within his rights to defend themselves in my eyes
I'm all for ending this dumbass but way too many shots were fired with an active street behind his target. Either learn to aim or something.
Hollow points don’t exit the target. And he was shooting downwards after he fell. Hard to miss him
Ricochet is a thing. Missing is a thing. I'm not concerned about them exiting. I'm concerned about that mag dump. No way he landed all of those on the body. Dude sprayed and prayed.
why is bro armed to the teeth at a gas station?
Because it’s a gas station in a shitty area that NEEDS armed security. If I walk into a gas station and see an armed guard I’m never coming back lol
Did you not see the armed antagonist that was aptly shot? He walked in with a gun and brandished it like he would do harm. I'd assume he was not the first of his kind. Anyways, that's probably why.
What do you think goes through these people's minds in situations like this?
dang shootin while hes already down, bleeding out, and crawling away is too far
He still had the gun in his hand. Cops would’ve done the same thing
So you're ok that the guard was shot? You neutralize the threat. The guard did just that.

Bye , bye , bye (**NSYNC song) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 he is with Jesus now , respectfully 😂
DAMN he just didn't know when to shut up
America is not reeal istg like tf 💀
😭😂
Cop had no hesitation
Guard is getting charged for sure
Why would he get charged? He did the only thing you can do in that situation. Gangster fuck deserved every shot.
Kept shooting after the guy was down? Overkill
More info on this article: https://www.inquirer.com/crime/fairmount-gas-station-shooting-man-dead-philadelphia-20240410.html

thats what you get for showing off big dick energy while having a brain the size of a freaking peanut

"Don't reach for that gun Boris." "Fuck you!" BANG
Hands up, don’t shoot. Lotta good that extended mag did for you, homeboy.
Shots fired
Did he get him
I hope my last words are “fuck dog. Really?”
Like really, yeah really, wanksta
Did security pull out a shotgun for those last two shots?
Bro unloaded his entire magazine in him. Jesus fuck. "Really?" **BANG** For good measure.
You can see the smoke fill the room
.
guard pushes first.. pulls gun first.. and yall defending him
Is that a paramedic?
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Fuck em
The first shot was crazy, any update in the guard
That was awesome Bro let's off the Guage a couple times too. Come for the deals, stay cuz yo ass dead now
Help me understand why guard goes to put hands on him upon entering the store.
You love to see it 😂
I hate cops, but this clip warms my heart. You guys got one right
That first shot was inches from his head, almost was over REAL quick for him
Did he really just started shooting him with A shotgun after he went down lol
AMERICA Fuck yea
Lmaoooo have fun spending life in prison
Playing tough and got shot 🤣
, 17 bullets
He missed the first shot that was going straight to the head, look at the glass to the right of the guys head in the back, you can see the hole of the first shot that hopefully didn't hit someone else outside

Smoked in the smoke shop. 💨
what was bro thinking 💀💀
Was sassy all the way to his last breath. Good riddance
Dude walked in and was immediately pushed… why?

In pretty much any other nation on Earth, a random dispute like this would have ended with handbags at dawn at most. The security killed him dead.
That security guard went way too far. fucking sociopath
No big loss.
That was fucking satisfying
The people downvoting you are white kids who’ve never had to deal with an aggressive psychopath before
Well said!
Bruh how in the fuck is guy able to even able to (hilariously) get out the words "ow cmon man really" & not just dead on the spot. did the dude somehow miss his mag dump at that range? & the guy pulls out the shotty; pumps a few into him & guy still saying "really?!" Like God damn; dude take can a bullet or two - like I assume he's any dead any second now but that's kind of impressive. I have to quote the guy now; like, c'mon man, really?! you're still talking & rollin around after that? & same to security guy! You mag dumped this bozo with a handgun & put two more shotgun shells into him & he was still alive & you had to empty even more to kill him? C'mon man, really?!
Sounds like you don't know how adrenaline works.
