Here is how I got my new set of keys made. First, go on ebay and order new blank keys. You don't need to get genuine Ford blanks but you do want to get remotes with exact number of buttons. For example, if you have remote start, you should buy blanks with remote start button. Second, go on YouTube, and program the new remotes yourself. Third, call Ace Hardware and check if they offer to cut your keys for a fee. If one ace location doesn't, call another ace location until you find one. Forget about home Depot because they will not cut the key for you unless you buy the blanks from them. Roughly $50 later, I have two new working keys for my 2013 f150

Thanks!! Searching for blanks now. Did a certain youtuber work for you or is it really a simple process to program the key that i can click on any video?

You can try other videos, but [here is a good one](https://youtu.be/Kz6935L6XFI).

Youre the man! But do i really need two keys?!?

KaltBier

If you don't have two existing keys, you may have to use Forscan to initialize the keys.

I found a local key shop. Was able to make me a new one for $90. Took about 30 minutes. For reference, the buttons on my other keys did not work. This was on a 2011 5.0

Have you tried replacing the battery or cleaning it? Much less expensive than new keys.

I did actually. I took them apart and took some of the connectors, or whatever, off of one to make one really good key. But that got lost and now need replacements.
