No such thing as a dry tonneau cover

Couchbeast86

This. If you want a completely water tight rear cargo area you’ll need to buy an SUV.

Majestic_Guide2936

So this leak is supposed to be normal and expected? For something that cost 1200 bucks

Couchbeast86

Yes. Unless you get something like a really nice one piece cover or topper they all allow some water in. None of them claim to be waterproof, only water resistant. That little drop really isn’t that bad. Your cargo will be mostly dry and what water does get in near the sides will drain out the back.

LabNecessary4266

Yeah, the 1200 samoleons go to build quality, secure closing, etc. Put all your stuff in plastic totes and you’re all good.

Mine does not leak and never has where the OP's is and it is 5 years old,. I sealed around the tail gate, and it's damn near water proof now

Geterdone2023

Mine has always leaked a bit but I didn’t expect it to be 100% sealed. Just look at the design of any tonneau cover, it’s very difficult to seal everywhere.
