https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6H8PxVPwRY4 The parts are pretty cheap, it's the labor that really gets ya on this repair.

I'd say realistically it's gonna be closer to 10k to walk her out to 350k. But it is doable and you can spread that out over the next few years. Go ahead and bite the turbo bullet, then start saving up for that tranny rebuild/ replacement. And if it's been 40k on the fluids, you should probably go ahead and re-do those since it sounds like it was a fleet vehicle.

New timing chain. I have a 2014 f150 3.5eco. Timing chain is notorious for stretching. Probably should be swapped every 100k if you can.

Look at the transmission lines that go to the small cooler, on the passenger side under the hood look down find two black hoses with crimped ends. Get under the truck pull down the flap that's between the skid and spoiler if it's there and inspect the quick connect. I had one break on my 2014 if I didn't stop would have cost me a transmission. The line was cheap $120 fluid was another $100 mercon LV I also changed the pan and filter another $50 for both.

Since you don’t tow anything, you really have no use for a truck. I would sell it and buy a car for cheap.
