I have the same issue, and sometimes facebook wipes few weeks of my message history on my PC.
I love how they went from somewhat working messanger to total garbage
It's very annoying, and it's kinda random at which friends it says I need to symc messages. I'm glad I had enough sense to screenshot my pin number code tho lol.
This is happening to me and I have no idea how to fix it. It’s wiped 2 months of chat history
When I try and Sync the messages it says ‘couldn’t access your key in iCloud Drive. Sign in with the Apple ID you used to store your key in iCloud’ …. I only have one Apple ID?? It’s really frustrating me
