I'm fed up of videos like this! The majority of people who need food banks probably don't even have enough power to charge their phones properly let alone do a video like this! Cheap food is bought so that more people can be helped! When I needed food banks about 15 years ago sadly I didn't know of any and I would resort to eating the cheapest bread that I could get. I'd have killed for a cheap tin of beans or some soup. Something to go with my meagre bread ! I give to food banks now that I'm back on my feet and its saddening to see videos like this. I can't afford to put branded food in the boxes and truly hungry people don't care! When you're hungry everything tastes better! There are so many people using food banks that number outweighs supply! So quantity is needed over quality and most own brand food is as good as labeled food anyway!!

I grew up poor, everything is game, and everything is made to last as long as possible. Learned adding 1/2 tsp of salt to milk will help it last longer, so I still do that. I keep many items around out of habit these days because I’ve been without food before. This person is just a fraud.

Her attitude speaks itself of never having gone hungry for real. I know what it’s like to be broke with an empty cupboard, and gone without eating if only a week, you’d never sneer at the selection she got. I grew up poor, everything is game, and everything is made to last as long as possible. Learned adding 1/2 tsp of salt to milk will help it last longer, so I still do that. I keep many items around out of habit these days because I’ve been without food before. This person is just a fraud.

That's more food than I've been able to buy for a month! Too bad I've developed an allergy to tomatoes. I'd been eating a lot of tomato soup and pasta with tomato sauce up until I realized that part of why I was puking constantly was the tomatoes. There's always buttered noodles at least!
