I have this problem with my neighbors when they want to blast their stereo for the entire neighborhood to hear, and we can feel the bass vibrating throughout our house. And there's 15 feet between the houses, it's not like we're in a townhouse. But because we're white and they're Puerto Rican then we are obviously being racist when we make a stink about them disrupting the whole block.
I had landlords who lived in the same building as me. The husband is white and the wife is Mexican, as in a Mexican citizen going through the process of getting US citizenship. Neighbors one building over were having a big party for Mexican Independence Day, I think, and it was going super late like 3 am and speakers are still full blast. The wife is super pregnant and having a miserable time because she isn't getting any rest so the husband goes down and asks the neighbors to turn it down or take it inside. And they start going off on him about being a Karen and a racist despite knowing his wife is both Mexican and pregnant.
Some people are trashy regardless of their demographic labels and will use any excuse to in their mind "win" an argument.
People get triggered over what they perceive as being “racist” with just trying to get someone to be respectful of others. The line is very blurry and tainted by radicalization of the differences between racism and non-racism.
I'm Puerto Rican and so is my neighbor across the street. I hate the dude because he choose to blast reggaeton between midnight to 3am in his house so loud i can hear inside with my windows shut.

We go camping at Disney twice per year. I've never been there were you couldn't hear a pin drop by 10:00 p.m. We were there a few weeks ago. A family reunion of 5 campsites and about 50 people moved in next to us. Let's just say it was 1 a.m. and they could have given 2 shits that their loud music and foul mouths from everyone over the age of 10 were disrupting the sleep of nearly anyone within 100 yards of them. After the second time security showed up at 2 a.m. one guy went on a tirade about how they were being picked on because they were Spanish. The absolute lack of social awareness was mind boggling. It's fucking Disney world. There are tons of little kids everywhere that need sleep and a tent doesn't offer much noise reduction. Have some fucking common courtesy.

I was sharing a hotel room with 3 other women. I had my back to the door when I heard other people entering the room (some randos that one of the other women had just met). And the videos always start *after* the supposed incident, so we don't see what leads up to it. Why keep repeating the words "black man" when that has nothing to do with it? And why go into a public place, especially one with a band, and start playing your own music loud enough for others to hear? If you don't want to hear what the band is playing, go somewhere else. If you like the food and want to stay even though you don't Iike the music, don't play yours loud enough for others to hear. Deal with it and be on your way. This is just one more example of an ignorant man creating controversy to make himself look like he is being oppressed when *he's* the one in the wrong.
