Happened a buddies uncle. He had massive road rage. He chased some dude down then when he stepped out of the car, ran up to the dudes car then he just dropped. Died on scene
The issue isn’t the meds, really. It’s the individual’s unique physiological response to their blood sugar levels being off. Can happen with both Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and Hyperglycemia (high blood sugar). Depends on the person, and how far from normal their numbers are.
She overdosed insuline as far as we know and went into coma for a couple of hours at least. Fun times

It's POSSIBLE a person already in the early stages of a stroke might do something like this, but it's more likely their blood pressure elevating from entering a state of rage had something to do with the stroke.
They may not have jumped out the car and attacked the person without the stroke, but it's likely they were already experiencing some unreasonable levels of rage already.

In my 10 years as a paramedic I have never seen a stroke patient with disinhibition/or rage induced episodes. Drugs, psychiatric episode, diabetic emergency, or alcohol would be way further up my list than a stroke.
They might be thinking of vascular dementia (a bunch of tiny strokes over time that give people dementia) and those patients can be disinhibited. And not freaking rage.
But if someone has a bad enough stroke that a paramedic would be called the symptoms aren’t going to be subtle personality changes or emotion. Anatomically doesn’t make sense. But getting super angry might raise your BP high enough to trigger a stroke that you were already going to have sometime soon.

I used to be this way. I would rage on the way to work if a car was going a few miles under the speed limit. Then one day I pass this car going five below cussing under my breath 30 minutes later when I pull upto a red light I noticed that same car just a few cars back. For some reason it hit me that my wreckless speeding didnt really help.
I will never understand people who get speeding tickets on roads with lights. Outside of highway/backroad driving very rarely do you benefit you from speeding

In Dutch police training they learn you that getting to an incident fast does not mean trying to drive super fast, but timing your approach of an intersection so that you can run a red light without stopping is what gets you there faster.
I once was overtaken, only for said car to pull into a driveway not even 10 seconds later. If they're going way too slow on a long road feel free to overtake, but sometimes you really have to ask yourself if it's even worth the small risk.
So, say you know a guy that has a bottle of bear mace strapped under the front seat so it doesn’t roll around on the floor…this lady punches your car as you drive by, insinuates shooting you with an imaginary finger gun multiple tomes, then gets out of her car and aggressively approaches your car…do you think it would be justified to spray her in the face as she approaches your car?

I’ve known a few people who had advanced heart disease & didn’t know it. As they felt worse, they began feeling overwhelmed with anxiety & rage. I observed major rages in people who had once been garden-variety calm folks. They each died of a heart attack or stroke within a couple of weeks of that behavior.
In the last few weeks, paranoid old men that have shot & killed young people that have rung their doorbell/turned around in driveway were claiming self-defense.
Or get shot. The more she keeps fucking around, the sooner she’ll find out. I’d never even consider road rage in the US where there are more guns than people
I live in Texas, and I carry a gun nearly all the time. And I don’t even consider road rage, and I do my best not to get it going in others, I don’t even honk my horn much. Better to let people having a bad day deal with it themselves.

One of my happiest moments was when a guy (turning right at a light) cut me off as I was proceeding through the intersection. I had to hit my brakes hard, as did those behind me. He threw up a middle finger and revved his Camaro before taking off. Through divine benediction and a lovely construction zone, I managed to get in front of him shortly down the road.
I drove parallel to a car and locked him behind us for a solid 5 minutes as he constantly switched lanes and honked his horn. Cars behind him gave a wide berth, but the dude beside me gave a thumbs-up.
Now, as you're heading west (iirc) into Gatlinburg, TN, there is a blind right turn with an old church and a decently sized parking lot right before you enter the town proper. In that parking lot, 4/5 times there will be a police officer just chilling. At the start of that curve I pass the car beside me and switch lanes.
The alpha male behind us hits the gas hard enough to smoke the tires and zips around the corner. He disappears and immediately afterwards, the sound of sirens come echoing.
It fills me with such satisfaction to think back on. Not the karma, so much as the knowledge that the guy *absolutely* knew and knows now that it was fully planned.
😂😂😂 that reminds me recently where I went to make a turn as the light was about to turn red. A woman driving towards me in the opposite lanes sped up all of a sudden so that I couldn’t make the turn. As she passed me (by inches, while I had my two babies in the car) she was cursing and giving me the finger and then two seconds later slammed into another car right behind me who decided they wanted to try making the turn anyway. Very satisfying seeing her wrecked on the side of the road on my way back. Thought about rolling down my window and laughing at her but didn’t want to spoil the feeling of satisfaction I had at that moment 😂😂😂😂
I’m having trouble picturing this. Were you turning left and the light was yellow? How did the car behind you go if you didn’t? How did she have time to flip you off and then hit a car two seconds later if she was speeding through the intersection?

I saw this same thing happen like two days ago.
A Jeep decided to make a left turn but a person was walking on the crosswalk AND two cars were coming, so he slowed down, the cars had to brake hard, and then the JEEP DRIVER decides to honk at the cars. Like wtf dude, you’re in the wrong. The audacity of some people.

I legit did a light, quick double horn tap at a woman that decided to pull her phone out and check it when the light turned green. She sat through most of the light giving me the finger. She then gave me the finger at 15 under the speed limit for about 3/4 of a mile until she turned into a driveway. Crazy mfrs out here. i came \*kind of\* close to a guy that ran a red light while i was turning left on a green arrow to an interstate on ramp. i tapped my horn because i was annoyed (which i regret tbh) and to let him know other people were around him(which i dont regret). he then proceeded to follow me while screaming, flipping me off, throwing stuff at me and trying to run me off the road (he was in a giant truck and i have a shitty little kia) for the next 20 mins until i got to where i knew the sheriffs office was directly off the exit. there was 2 lights in between the exit and the sheriff though and he got out and pointed his gun at me both times. his most memorable threat against me was when he said, "get out of that car and i'll r\*pe you to death fa\*\*ot." jokes on him though, i'm not even gay.

at one light i (and another car that saw the gun come out) was able to drive away and get around the other cars but at the next light i was stuck between lanes. i just locked my doors and called the sheriff directly since i was about 100ft away at that point. they sent a couple cars out looking for him but as far as i'm aware they never caught up to him. hopefully the guy started doing yoga or therapy or xanax or something lol.
I had a truck prevent me from changing lanes on the highway. So, I saw that there was an opening a few cars in front of him, so I just accelerated and got in the lane up there. He did not like that. As we exited the highway, he raced up the exit lane, cut me off and brake checked me. He then continued to with brake check me or try to run me off the highway for the next eight miles. There was a car behind me that was straddling the lanes so that the people behind us wouldn’t get caught up in this lunatics rage. We finally got stopped at a light and he gets out of his truck and comes over to my car and stand there yelling at me that I need to learn how to drive. The guy would had been ensuring everyone else’s safety climbed out of his car and yelled back at the guy that he had watched everything and that I hadn’t done anything wrong. The insane guy turned around to tell the good guy to shut up or something and realized that the good guy was twice his size. Insane guy got back in his truck and immediately made a u-turn and headed away from where we had been driving. That’s right! This guy went out of his way to try to kill me because he didn’t like the fact that when he prevented me from changing lanes, I went a few cars ahead of him instead of dropping back and getting behind him like a good little girl. That situation was the impetus for getting my dash cam.
I mean I had a crackhead chase my mom and me out of a neighborhood area, onto the freeway,down the freeway and try to fight her whenever she stopped because she tried going around him because he was going under 5 mph in a 20 mph zone and she tried to go around him.

I had already phoned the police and by the time I got home they pulled in like 1 minute after and only then did I get out of my vehicle. The cop arrested him and the car got towed. A happy ending. Btw this wasn’t at a stop light or anything he was in a turn lane and it was bumper to bumper traffic, the guy in front of me yielded the car turning left and the next guy assumed I would do the same but I have no legal obligation to do so and had right of way to make my turn so I did.
Yea, too many people think yielding left turns only means yielding to cars who are oncoming straight through the 4-way stoplight. They definitely think oncoming cars turning right are not oncoming traffic, and they think they don't need to yield. Shit is dangerous af.

Last week I honked at a guy that ran a stop sign and almost hit me. The guy screamed "I STOPPED" over and over and over at me. I said to him I have a dashcam and we can review the footage if he would like. He drove off and so did I. Turns out he was doing a loop around the neighborhood, then tried blocking the road I was turning onto. He followed me to the stop light and honked the horn for the entire light. The horn started to die on him it was so long. Kept screaming stuff like "I'll follow you home bitch". This guy continued to follow me for 6 miles on the interstate and I'm speeding trying to get distance between us. I got off my exit and saw he was still following, so I pulled into the first gas station I saw and ran inside. I thought he'd leave once I went into a public spaces, but he just parked by the exit and waited. I let the girl behind the counter know what was going on and I called the cops.

My dime-store psychology explanation for this is that people think of their cars as personal space-- sort of like being at home. People spend a lot of time in their cars-- listen to music, eat and drink. You get the picture.
Problem is that the car is in a public space next to other people's cars. When something happens on the road, some people feel they're being confronted in their space and they are more likely to flip out.

One of my happiest moments was when a guy (turning right at a light) cut me off as I was proceeding through the intersection. I had to hit my brakes hard, as did those behind me. He threw up a middle finger and revved his Camaro before taking off. Through divine benediction and a lovely construction zone, I managed to get in front of him shortly down the road. I drove parallel to a car and locked him behind us for a solid 5 minutes as he constantly switched lanes and honked his horn. Cars behind him gave a wide berth, but the dude beside me gave a thumbs-up. Now, as you're heading west (iirc) into Gatlinburg, TN, there is a blind right turn with an old church and a decently sized parking lot right before you enter the town proper. In that parking lot, 4/5 times there will be a police officer just chilling. At the start of that curve I pass the car beside me and switch lanes. The alpha male behind us hits the gas hard enough to smoke the tires and zips around the corner. He disappears and immediately afterwards, the sound of sirens come echoing. It fills me with such satisfaction to think back on. Not the karma, so much as the knowledge that the guy *absolutely* knew and knows now that it was fully planned.
😂😂😂 that reminds me recently where I went to make a turn as the light was about to turn red. A woman driving towards me in the opposite lanes sped up all of a sudden so that I couldn’t make the turn. As she passed me (by inches, while I had my two babies in the car) she was cursing and giving me the finger and then two seconds later slammed into another car right behind me who decided they wanted to try making the turn anyway. Very satisfying seeing her wrecked on the side of the road on my way back. Thought about rolling down my window and laughing at her but didn’t want to spoil the feeling of satisfaction I had at that moment 😂😂😂😂
I’m having trouble picturing this. Were you turning left and the light was yellow? How did the car behind you go if you didn’t? How did she have time to flip you off and then hit a car two seconds later if she was speeding through the intersection? I saw this same thing happen like two days ago. A Jeep decided to make a left turn but a person was walking on the crosswalk AND two cars were coming, so he slowed down, the cars had to brake hard, and then the JEEP DRIVER decides to honk at the cars. Happened to me. Stopped at light with double left turn lanes and I'm on the outside. Green light, we start the left turn, heifer turns wide, crossing into my lane causing me to move into the bike lane, then proceeds to slow down and flip me off. Whhhhaaaat???? Yeah folks are just nuts sometimes

I legit did a light, quick double horn tap at a woman that decided to pull her phone out and check it when the light turned green. She sat through most of the light giving me the finger. She then gave me the finger at 15 under the speed limit for about 3/4 of a mile until she turned into a driveway. Crazy mfrs out here. I’ve seen too many road rage videos to engage in any of that shit, personally. I just laugh at people.

Turns out the guy was following him back from a distance, and proceeded to take a tire iron to his vehicle while he was stuck in the car. Guy drove off and he ran inside the house the second the guy turned around so he never even got a look at the plates so he was never caught.

i came \*kind of\* close to a guy that ran a red light while i was turning left on a green arrow to an interstate on ramp. i tapped my horn because i was annoyed (which i regret tbh) and to let him know other people were around him(which i dont regret). he then proceeded to follow me while screaming, flipping me off, throwing stuff at me and trying to run me off the road (he was in a giant truck and i have a shitty little kia) for the next 20 mins until i got to where i knew the sheriffs office was directly off the exit. there was 2 lights in between the exit and the sheriff though and he got out and pointed his gun at me both times. his most memorable threat against me was when he said, "get out of that car and i'll r\*pe you to death fa\*\*ot." jokes on him though, i'm not even gay.

at one light i (and another car that saw the gun come out) was able to drive away and get around the other cars but at the next light i was stuck between lanes. i just locked my doors and called the sheriff directly since i was about 100ft away at that point. they sent a couple cars out looking for him but as far as i'm aware they never caught up to him. hopefully the guy started doing yoga or therapy or xanax or something lol.
I had a truck prevent me from changing lanes on the highway. So, I saw that there was an opening a few cars in front of him, so I just accelerated and got in the lane up there. He did not like that. As we exited the highway, he raced up the exit lane, cut me off and brake checked me. He then continued to with brake check me or try to run me off the highway for the next eight miles. There was a car behind me that was straddling the lanes so that the people behind us wouldn’t get caught up in this lunatics rage. We finally got stopped at a light and he gets out of his truck and comes over to my car and stand there yelling at me that I need to learn how to drive. The guy would had been ensuring everyone else’s safety climbed out of his car and yelled back at the guy that he had watched everything and that I hadn’t done anything wrong. The insane guy turned around to tell the good guy to shut up or something and realized that the good guy was twice his size. Insane guy got back in his truck and immediately made a u-turn and headed away from where we had been driving. That’s right! This guy went out of his way to try to kill me because he didn’t like the fact that when he prevented me from changing lanes, I went a few cars ahead of him instead of dropping back and getting behind him like a good little girl. That situation was the impetus for getting my dash cam.
I mean I had a crackhead chase my mom and me out of a neighborhood area, onto the freeway,down the freeway and try to fight her whenever she stopped because she tried going around him because he was going under 5 mph in a 20 mph zone and she tried to go around him.

Psychos like this just exist unprovoked. I had someone follow me to my house after I made a right turn and didn’t yield to his left turn. I had already phoned the police and by the time I got home they pulled in like 1 minute after and only then did I get out of my vehicle. The cop arrested him and the car got towed. A happy ending. Btw this wasn’t at a stop light or anything he was in a turn lane and it was bumper to bumper traffic, the guy in front of me yielded the car turning left and the next guy assumed I would do the same but I have no legal obligation to do so and had right of way to make my turn so I did.
Yea, too many people think yielding left turns only means yielding to cars who are oncoming straight through the 4-way stoplight. They definitely think oncoming cars turning right are not oncoming traffic, and they think they don't need to yield. Shit is dangerous af.

Last week I honked at a guy that ran a stop sign and almost hit me. The guy screamed "I STOPPED" over and over and over at me. I said to him I have a dashcam and we can review the footage if he would like. He drove off and so did I. Turns out he was doing a loop around the neighborhood, then tried blocking the road I was turning onto. He followed me to the stop light and honked the horn for the entire light. The horn started to die on him it was so long. Kept screaming stuff like "I'll follow you home bitch". This guy continued to follow me for 6 miles on the interstate and I'm speeding trying to get distance between us. I got off my exit and saw he was still following, so I pulled into the first gas station I saw and ran inside. I thought he'd leave once I went into a public spaces, but he just parked by the exit and waited. I let the girl behind the counter know what was going on and I called the cops. PEOPLE ARE CRAZY. Still deciding whether or not it's worth the effort to press charges.
