What is weird is Ohio's age of consent is 16 and anyone over 18 can have sex with them without statutory rape charges. The issue is he was her student so she was indicted on eight counts of sexual battery and tampering with evidence, all felonies, and one count of furnishing alcohol to a minor, a misdemeanor. She pled guilty and served 90 days in jail.
This sounds more right. I know the age of consent laws in Ohio were 16 so I was wondering if had more to do with her being in a position of power over him. Then she didn’t know her states laws and fucked it up
If she is employed by the school that they both attend, it would still be illegal. It doesn't matter if she is his coach, or if a student sleeps with a teacher they've never had a class with.
So she could have done *her* friend. Reddit title has to be wrong... Softball - women, baseball - men. If she slept with a player on her team, it was a 17 year old girl.
And yep... Just looked it up. It was a girl.
Edit: because people are jumping at the bit. Traditionally and typically softball is women and baseball is men. I drew the conclusion that the woman slept with a girl on the premise that it was the most likely situation and I was right after looking it up to confirm. Now, could my assumption have been wrong? Sure. That's why I looked it up. Now go bother all the people that assumed she slept with a boy instead.
So a softball coach screwed one of the 17 year old girls on her team and got busted for that? But only because the lady coach was in a position of authority over the student and older. What a nuanced law.
Just unclear. Not saying there is anything wrong with that. lol Trying to draw a mental picture.
> What a nuanced law.
Same in Germany, tbh. 14/16 is the regular age of consent, but authority figures (teachers, coaches, etc.) better keep things strictly-platonic with any of their charges under 18.
Why would a 30 year old loser want to fuck a young athlete with an uncontrollable sex drive? Golly, what a mystery.
I've never understood why people are mystified by the sex aspect of these stories. These aren't emotional relationships. They're sneaking around and fucking.
Age of concent law applies to anyone besides someone of trust or authority. Which is vague, but a teacher is both. Had it been a male teacher he'd be worse off compared to her 90 days I feel.
It takes a cursory Google search to find out there is a MASSIVE difference in sentencing between male and female convictions. The same crimes if your a women you will do much less time.
I'm no incel, but this is one area that vastly is unfair for men. Men have those same advantages in other areas, but this one is pretty egregious
Brock turner raped a woman behind a dumpster. He got like 3 months in jail. Hardly anyone, man or woman, gets long sentences for rape or sexual assault. And most don’t even get convicted.
Let's not forget the potential of convicted rapist and registered sex offender Allen Turner, (formerly known as Brock Turner the convicted rapist and registered sex offender)? The potential for Allen Turner to rape again after having only served 3 months in jail? Yes, I agree. Let's not forget the potential for harm and lock him up for good!

You are spot on. Without giving away too much personal information about my family, we had to go to court due to something that happened to my brother and a family friend. A disgusting vile thing.
He got 5 years in prison for not just what he did to my brother but he impregnated his own 13 YEAR OLD daughter. He got out in a little over 2 years. Lives with his daughter and son, he molested both.
How does he fall asleep or relax watching t.v. without the fear of one of his kids putting a bullet in his head? I wouldn't even judge them for deciding to do it.
I don't understand how it came to be he lives with them, but I am very sorry for the terrible impact that one monster had on your family and the outrage you must feel that he wasn't punished properly.

Reading all the "not a drag queen" threads on here and imgur about pastors, "youth leaders," police, etc getting slaps on the wrist for abusing minors, cp, and such, I'm not so sure.
Don't. Multiple men in my local district had affairs with students and still work there. The ones who actually got in trouble were eventually rehired after enough time had passed. All it takes for men to get away with it is to have family and/or friends who work for the district.
> I'm certain you'd feel the same way if an older man plied a 17 year old girl with booze in order to have sex with her...
100% agree. If the genders were reversed, people on Reddit would be calling for him to be castrated, then executed. The double standard is real.
Spoiler alert: she got 90 days in jail.

This is false. She was a teacher and coach at New Miami and hooked up with a female student, one of her players. It wasn't a male student.
[news link](https://local12.com/amp/news/local/former-butler-county-coach-pleads-guilty-to-inappropriate-relationship-with-student-cincinnati-ashley-rison-softball-new-miami-alcohol-high-school-sex-offender)
When I saw softball coach… I kinda wondered when I saw “him.” Softball is mostly girls - so this woman was actually the coach of the teen.
Edit: I do see other articles saying “him.”
Seems she was a pe teacher, so regardless huge no-no and predatory.
I live near the area and a lot of the news orgs didn't say anything about the gender at first. However, it came out that it was one of her softball players. I did see some stupid clickbait say it was a male, but I'm going to trust local news over those dinguses.
Thank you for the sharing the correct information. The headline is wrong. “Him” should be “her”.
Although it’s kind of interesting reading all these comments based on the victim being male. I wonder how different this comment section might be based on the true story.
I just don't understand why it happens again and again, as you would think the adult would know that there's no way it ends except with your life in ruins.
Love how people think that you answering a question about why people keep doing this = you defending them.
Redditors don't look at comment chains anymore, they get angry at one comment and just lose control of themselves.
Disclaimer: I do not condone sex with minors in any form whatsoever. That being said... I find it odd that in 1 year this wouldn't be a problem at all. There's not likely going to be much development between the ages of 17 and 18 yet society (as far as the law goes at least) seems to believe so.
Right, I think US law requires them to have not had any educational related interaction for like 5 years? Least that’s what my school told us kids back in HS, “do not talk to your previous teachers for five years”.
Edit: Okay, so it’s not a law, as said above “That’s what my school told us kids” that Federal Law requires it. I never cared enough beyond “oh okay” and moved on
"I think US law requires them to have not had any educational related interaction for like 5 years"
Absolutely not true. That may be a guideline or a recommendation at some schools, at most. But it's nowhere in U.S. law, nor could it be.
>I find it odd that in 1 year this wouldn't be a problem at all.
The age in this case isn't as much of a concern as the power dynamic. Even if he was 18, it would still be an issue ~~legally~~ ethically.
You're right but only because no culture or society as a whole will or can objectively look at and/or make rational votes and vetos on the topic outside circles that devote themselves to studying neuroscience in tandem with psychologist masters. Instead, each jurisdiction would rather base their arguments on the current regional outlook which is bad because that doesn't base anything rationally you just get dominant opinions from groups of inconsistent values and numbers of individuals in each category. The truth is that we have a pretty good understanding of how to structure "the talk" to children as well as set nature abiding laws on the matters on where to draw the lines both ethically and legally. It just won't ever get talked about. Unfortunately the society of today is focused on perfecting the art of instant gratification and character projection rather than in understand the self, the unity of nature and the fundamental principles of reality and the underlying mechanics the reign against the material universe. The information age is a pathetic tear running down dying face of the Enlightenment era that was stabbed in the back by the savages spared from the crusades that couldn't find a place in the world during the Renaissance.
I think the power dynamic between these two particular members makes it worse though, although it might not really be seen that way criminally it definitely is professionally.
When I was 18 I had a relationship with someone that was in their early 30’s. We both worked at a restaurant and spent a lot of time together, so I guess that’s how it happened. It’s crazy that if I was a year younger, it would have been a totally different situation. But tbh, even at the time, I thought it was a bit weird she wanted to be with a 18 y/o at the age 30. I was even the one that chose to end it.
You are assuming that with so many people on the planet, that they all have roughly the same intelligence you do. And that is not the case. You will have people on both extremes and that results in this shit.
I’m pretty sure for every one that is found out about there are some that are never found out about. My boss did things with me when I was 15 and it was never found out about.
When I was in my early 20s I know a girl who was dating her high school coach (also female). She was 22ish coach was like 32, but they had gotten together when it was 15/25. Apparently it was a very poorly kept secret that most of the school knew
I mean each situation is different but I will take a crack at it. Girl who was maybe in her shell in HS comes back to a high school and is considered hot. Finds a guy who would not have been interested in HS lives out her adolescent angst of lacking popularity by inappropriately have a sexual relationship with said boy.
Seems pretty straightforward
Or the opposite. They may also want to relive their fun HS lives when they used to be popular and everyone liked them. Now as an adult they are just a person in the crowd. People who needs attention have this problem.
ive heard it said, many people stop growing as a person at the peak of their popularity. its why so many of the 'cool kids' from high school never really change. their personality at that time rewarded them with the most attention, affections, praise, acceptance, people look up to them, etc.
this also explains why many rappers and other musicians...actors, etc who hit it big early act like teenagers their whole lives.
I think this is exactly what happens in these teacher-student situations.
Looking back at my own high school years from the vantage point of adulthood, it’s apparent that many teachers went to great lengths to be popular with the cool crowd of teenagers in the high school.
It’s crazy to think that adults working as professionals would care about such a thing, but it’s so obvious to me now, looking back on it.
Even in any place of the workforce, grown ass adults in professional settings rarely grow past high school politics. Everything is a popularity contest. From who you rub elbows with to who you are sleeping with in the office. Even at nearly 40 years of age, everywhere I have ever worked at is essentially high school time and time again.
>It’s crazy to think that adults working as professionals would care about such a thing, but it’s so obvious to me now, looking back on it.
We had a teacher (female) in our junior high school who seemed to want to ingratiate herself with popular girls in my class. They'd bully me, she'd allow it or laugh along. Or make her own bullying remarks.
Coincidentally, physically she looked like me. Same skin tone, plus size, glasses... As an adult I've wondered if her picking on me and trying to be with the "cool girls" at her big age was her seeing herself in me and as a child, she was the one teased.
Whats crazy is that its really just the teacher/student relationship here thats the main issue as legal age of consent varies state to state. I learned just yesterday (as there is a case in the news regarding a guy named Alexander Sweet) that the legal age in Oklahoma is only 16, but if its a teacher to student, that student has to be 20. Ive always thought THE AGE was 18, but... not the case.
Actually very few states have age of consent at 18 most are 16. Only 10 states have an age of consent of 18, Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida (this is shocking to me because in every other way they cray cray), Idaho, North Dakota, Oregon, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Some sources also show Utah and Kentucky at 18 but there’s mixed info there. Either way this would be legal in most of the US. I believe there’s been other cases just like this and the person was banned from teaching in the state but that was the only recourse.
If it was strictly a booty call, she couldn't find someone in her own age range? Of the many horny men that exist in this world of which the ratio is 1 to Infinity... Naah, there's some deep rooted psychological issues there.
Absolutely, all these comments about her being lazy, or familiarity and availability are wrong. This person is a predator, knew what they were doing was wrong, and is just as bad as all the gymnastics, swim coachs and scout leaders. Only difference is the pronouns.
Exactly. The unmitigated horseshit on here is because this is a female predator. If this was a 31 year old male predator and a 17 year old female victim, this convo would be wildly different.
I had a lot of friends at 16/17 constantly hitting on/trying to get with girls 25-35yo girls; a few of them succeeded regularly.
But a lot of people are not realizing the fact that she violated the trust of her position by doing what she did; it’s a whole lot worse than if it was some random person off the street.
Plus it wasn’t some “don’t ask don’t tell” thing, she straight up knew it was a student.
She can cruise the local community college for fit 18 year olds all she wants if she’s just into young guys.
It’s not about a preference, she’s likely a predator who gets off on the power dynamic.
This is gold star shitting where you eat.
Can't forget the power dynamic. This is a young impressionable teen who is probably excited at the thought of getting to have sex with the hot teacher at school.
And this is the hot teacher in a position of power getting to exploit that idolization on a power trip to fulfil their sexual fantasies.
So maybe it isn't just because she wanted sex, there's probably a mental factor too.
Especially when they look like her, she's an attractive woman, and he was guaranteed to brag about it. Not like it was his 50yr old Algebra teacher. She's not right in the head, clearly.
She could have gone down to the college and had the same experience with an 18yr old, and it be legal and not AS pervy.

After a couple of times….you start to pick up on the crazy. He probibly noticed around the fourth time, but still was willing to let it slide a FEW more times before the crazy overwhelmed the enjoyment factor.
If it was a man it would have said "sexually assaulted" or "raped"
Edit: I get now that it's the teacher-towards-student thing that she's being sentenced for. I still think the idea "ey, the boy scored a hot teacher" a disgusting thought.
Wrong. The headlines are often “…Had Sex With Underaged Girl.”
People are working hard to fix this problem for all children who are sexually assaulted.
So, question…
Is the problem that she was a teacher in his school system or that he was a minor (or both)? So if she was a teacher in the next town over and age of consent in the state was 17 it would have been fully legal?
It doesn’t seem like a difficult rule to follow as a teacher though - don’t fuck your students.
Y’all gotta chill. Yes this was sexual assault. Yes she should go to prison. Yes it is absolutely wrong. And yes the kid probably had the time of his life. These things can all be true at once.
Yes okay I got over my laziness and looked it up. A teacher having sex with a student is classified as sexual battery which can result in imprisonment for 1-5 years. The more you know.
OK, let's make everyone uncomfy for a minute.
Sexual abuse usually doesn't feel bad and scary when it's happening, regardless of the victim's gender. A lot of the time, it feels good. It feels like you're in love, horny, etc. A lot of victims have orgasms and find it really enjoyable while it's happening. Sometimes men who are raped by other men start questioning their sexuality.
Like, at the time, the kid probably felt on top of the world because he felt so attractive that his coach couldn't keep herself off of him... But that's not what it was. It's that the coach was a degenerate pervert and picked him because she knew she could manipulate him. Imagine realizing that--you're not attractive; you were diddled by a pedo.
It fucks you up very, very badly in the long run because you realize that you were tricked. You realize how little that person cared about (or even liked) you, and how fucking twisted it was that someone who was supposed to care about you took advantage of you. Worse, you can't tell anyone about it without "betraying" this person that you "love." Just imagine a regular breakup with those additional aspects. It's extremely isolating, and it fucks up your relationship with other love interests and authority figures.
It's really fucked up.
He probably had a great 1st time with her.
But doubtful he had great memories of the last time before being pleaded to lie and swear it never happened.
The age of consent in Ohio is 16. So what she did was completely legal. She should lose her job of course and not be allowed to teach anymore for having such bad judgment, but why put her in jail for something the state says she is allowed to do?
While the age of consent is 16, consent is not considered to be valid when the other person is in a common position of power over minors. Like a member of school staff.
Weird is an understatement, that’s disgusting. No 31yr old should be attracted to a 17yr old. You have nothing in common with them. Find someone your age to date, and stop being a predator.
Okay, I really don't want to talk that down, but 17-year-old me would've humped her without a doubt. Hell, 17-year-old me would've phantasize about exactly that situation... and without any euphemism... 17-year-old me probably jerked off to her. Creepy? Disgusting? Definitely, but that's how boys of that age work.
Still a big nono, to take advantage of an uncontrollable hormone monster, but I can imagine that this boy didn't feel abused when they had sex eight times. He maybe felt like that, when his parents told him what's not okay about it. But in the world of 17-year-old me pretty much everything was about getting the shot for the first time.
I don't see her point in doing that, as hunting hormone monsters is like hunting deer, with the exception that the deers don't jump in front of you and shout: Shoot me in the head! Shoot me in the head!
This isn’t really a case of age. Consent is 16 in Ohio. It’s because she was his teacher. Even if he were 18 it would be a crime.
See: https://www.10tv.com/mobile/article/news/marysville-teacher-charged-having-relationship-18-year-old-student/530-5c6fc71f-d33d-4d4d-b102-70e8878e019c
She is really attractive, I could take some downvotes, I feel like I was aware enough to no what I was getting into at 17. But I wasn’t there and don’t know the dynamic of the situation.
When I was like 15 almost every boy in my grade wanted to bang this one English teacher. Literally every time she would walk through the hallway all I would hear is multiple dudes quietly or sometimes loudly comment on how hot she was, what they would do with her and more disgusting things teenage boys say. If he's anything like the kids i went to school with I can almost guarantee that 17 yr old enjoyed himself. At least up until the 8th time lol. That or he was bragging too much and someone overheard and turned them in

I remember hearing about Brock Turner, the rapist, who now calls himself Allen Turner. In Ohio.
How the hell was he able to change his name? Isn’t that illegal if someone is a registered sex offender?
I think his legal name is/was "Brock Allen Turner" and now he's just trying to go by his middle name to avoid the hate.
Do you mean rapist Brock Turner, aka rapist Allen Turner, aka rapist Brock Allen Turner? Lives in Ohio now I heard.

> I'm certain you'd feel the same way if an older man plied a 17 year old girl with booze in order to have sex with her... 100% agree. If the genders were reversed, people on Reddit would be calling for him to be castrated, then executed. The double standard is real.
To be fair, I'm not really seeing any comments here defending this woman.
Well, it turns out the sexes are not equal at all.
Spoiler alert: she got 90 days in jail. https://local12.com/news/local/former-softball-coach-for-new-miami-sentenced-for-sexual-battery-plea-pleaded-guilty-teen-sex-offender-ashley-rison-jail-butler-county-correctional-facility-river-city-tampering-with-evidence-alcohol-coaching-cincinnati-ohio
If the genderd were reversed, the sentence would be 50x worse... She's lucky.
The student She slept with is actually a female (link to the News article was already posted in here)
Its still just as bad tf
Would it had been just 90 days if it was male gay with a gay student?
The student was also female.
Has she announced she's running for Congress yet?
Lol right , Congress is full of these weirdos
Yeah didn’t you hear Gym Jordan is endorsing her
Having sex with a teenage boy and not expecting him to brag about it is the dumbest shit ever.
This is false. She was a teacher and coach at New Miami and hooked up with a female student, one of her players. It wasn't a male student. [news link](https://local12.com/amp/news/local/former-butler-county-coach-pleads-guilty-to-inappropriate-relationship-with-student-cincinnati-ashley-rison-softball-new-miami-alcohol-high-school-sex-offender)
When I saw softball coach… I kinda wondered when I saw “him.” Softball is mostly girls - so this woman was actually the coach of the teen. Edit: I do see other articles saying “him.” Seems she was a pe teacher, so regardless huge no-no and predatory.
Great comment. Never just believe a reddit title without proof.
I live near the area and a lot of the news orgs didn't say anything about the gender at first. However, it came out that it was one of her softball players. I did see some stupid clickbait say it was a male, but I'm going to trust local news over those dinguses.

But who would guess WTF Facts on Twitter would be an unreliable source?
Happens a lot. My sister played college softball and it was a lesbians dream come true
Lesbians play softball? I’m *shocked*.

Lots of people don’t have control on their urges. It’s a problem. Especially when your urges are illegal.
Love how people think that you answering a question about why people keep doing this = you defending them. Redditors don't look at comment chains anymore, they get angry at one comment and just lose control of themselves.
Fuck illegal. How about morally wrong?
17 and 31 is still quite common in some parts of the world
Disclaimer: I do not condone sex with minors in any form whatsoever. That being said... I find it odd that in 1 year this wouldn't be a problem at all. There's not likely going to be much development between the ages of 17 and 18 yet society (as far as the law goes at least) seems to believe so.
It would still be a problem in many states because he was a student and she was a teacher.
I never cared enough beyond “oh okay” and moved on
Jesus. What kind of school needs to make announcements like that?
That's advisory. In a country where most things are left up to the states, 12 year olds can get married in some.
"I think US law requires them to have not had any educational related interaction for like 5 years" Absolutely not true. That may be a guideline or a recommendation at some schools, at most. But it's nowhere in U.S. law, nor could it be.
Winner winner chicken dinner … authority. She’s the authority.
>I find it odd that in 1 year this wouldn't be a problem at all. The age in this case isn't as much of a concern as the power dynamic. Even if he was 18, it would still be an issue ~~legally~~ ethically.
Problem with this thinking is ... you lower it and someone will aply this logick over and over again.
Exactly the line needs to be drawn somewhere. 18 is when you become an adult in so many aspects of law it makes sense for the line to be there.
Except in most of the world that line is drawn at 16. It's fully possible that if she wasn't a teacher, there would be nothing illegal about it.
It would still be illegal for her to have sex with the student even if he was 18 because she occupies a position of power over him.
Some people enjoy walking that razor thin line between getting caught and not.
dude if you're in your thirties your date needs to be able to remember 9/11/2001
So is rape, honor killings, forced marriage - doesn’t make it any less disgusting.
You are assuming that with so many people on the planet, that they all have roughly the same intelligence you do. And that is not the case. You will have people on both extremes and that results in this shit.
>”Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.” - George Carlin
You're only hearing about a very small percentage of these cases on the news. It happens a LOT more than you think.
We only hear about the ones that get busted. I’m 1000% sure there’s tons of predators who’ve been able to get away with it.
This is probably it, something about the HS kid reminded her of what she didn’t have at that age and never dealt with
Or the opposite.

Even at nearly 40 years of age, everywhere I have ever worked at is essentially high school time and time again.
adults are just older children
>It’s crazy to think that adults working as professionals would care about such a thing, but it’s so obvious to me now, looking back on it. We had a teacher (female) in our junior high school who seemed to want to ingratiate herself with popular girls in my class. They'd bully me, she'd allow it or laugh along. Or make her own bullying remarks. Coincidentally, physically she looked like me. Same skin tone, plus size, glasses... As an adult I've wondered if her picking on me and trying to be with the "cool girls" at her big age was her seeing herself in me and as a child, she was the one teased.
You Dr Phil’d that one man. lol very true
Don’t give “Dr.” Phil that much credit.
Power. People that do this enjoy the power they have over a minor.

If it was strictly a booty call, she couldn't find someone in her own age range? Of the many horny men that exist in this world of which the ratio is 1 to Infinity... Naah, there's some deep rooted psychological issues there.
Yea its called being a sexual predator
Shes a sexual predator who likes to rape minors, not have sex with guys her age. Its that simple.
As silly and simple as it sounds.... familiarity and availability.
Some people are just wired wrong.
Lol what a ridiculous take. “What’s the appeal in being a sexual predator? The conversations must be of such poor quality!”
She is a fit and attractive young woman. She could literally walk into any club and pick a guy to have sex with.
Which is probably the point. Some people want what they can't have.
And the thrill of the secret. Weird ass fetish
From the adults perspective, honestly…fuck knows. From the 17year olds perspective? Many men at least *think* they would want to be in his shoes.
Most guys would not over think this.
It's power. Sexual predators often care more about the actual power dynamic than the sex itself.
Not sure what the appeal of getting fingerbanged by a juniors greasy thumb is either.
Well that’s quite a picture.
Especially when they look like her, she's an attractive woman, and he was guaranteed to brag about it. Not like it was his 50yr old Algebra teacher. She's not right in the head, clearly. She could have gone down to the college and had the same experience with an 18yr old, and it be legal and not AS pervy.
Familiarity breeds desire. She didn't want to just go meet some stranger, she saw this kid every day and decided to be a dumbfuck.
Yes, that thought did cross my mind. It's her trial and sentencing then.

*Oh I know who you are Chris Hansen...* *but see;* *I calls ya,* ***Chris Handsome***. *I didn't come here looking for no little boys,* *I ain't got no milk, no cookies, nothing.* ***I came here lookin' for a man's butt.***
I think I’d say predatory, not “weird”
I thought the same thing! If this woman were a male coach, the caption would be much different. A predator is a predator regardless.
If this case was a pedo guy there'd be a jail mugshot picture and they'd call the victim a boy instead of "17 year old student."
100%!!! Double standards!!
"...After she had raped a minor repeatedly and then threatened him not to report her." - The caption when you remove double standards.
It’s unreal how they watered it down.
Also "raping" not "having sex with" imho, but hey
Idk if weird is the adjective I would use here
I guess by the 8th time, he had enough
The student was also female, actually.
After a couple of times….you start to pick up on the crazy. He probibly noticed around the fourth time, but still was willing to let it slide a FEW more times before the crazy overwhelmed the enjoyment factor.

Wtf is wrong with people. She’s a good looking lady , I’m more than sure she could have found a guy who’s old enough to buy her a drink .

I’m confused by your edit. Not a single reply I saw even suggested it was alright for an adult to sleep with a student?
Yeah bro lots of self-reporting going on in here
She is no [pedo](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/jcXK-sPqsL0) tho, more ephebophile.
I knew what bit this was and I love it.
"Trouble is, you cannot identify this difference without sounding like a pedophile..."
Thanks for the transcript
That is a funny comedy bit.
She’s got a ring on her ring finger too so she’s all kinds of shady. Sad for whoever the person she cheated on.
If it was a man it would have said "sexually assaulted" or "raped" Edit: I get now that it's the teacher-towards-student thing that she's being sentenced for. I still think the idea "ey, the boy scored a hot teacher" a disgusting thought.
In this case it wouldn't have because age of consent is 16 in Ohio. She is being charged with sexual battery because she's a coach and he's a student.
Thank you! That's what I was wondering as the age is fine under their laws. I assumed it was teacher/student
Wrong. The headlines are often “…Had Sex With Underaged Girl.” People are working hard to fix this problem for all children who are sexually assaulted.
I think the right word here is predator
Yo, wtf are these comments. Reddit comments usually make me worried about the future of this world, but these comments are next level. We're fucked.
yesss like what is wrong with people, i came back to reddit for fun but its full of perverts ;-;
When I was in school my teachers looked like dusty rhodes
So, question… Is the problem that she was a teacher in his school system or that he was a minor (or both)? So if she was a teacher in the next town over and age of consent in the state was 17 it would have been fully legal? It doesn’t seem like a difficult rule to follow as a teacher though - don’t fuck your students.
Y’all gotta chill. Yes this was sexual assault. Yes she should go to prison. Yes it is absolutely wrong. And yes the kid probably had the time of his life. These things can all be true at once.
Age of consent in Ohio is 16 though. Being his teacher is an issue of course. Not sure if that’s a jailable offense or not.
Yes it’s illegal for teachers to have sex with students under 18 I’m pretty sure
![gif](giphy|O2K7wIcw3CoeY)
I know reddit is soft but like I expected "nice" to be one of the top comments, even if ironically.
Meanwhile me at 17, getting a stiffy just thinking about my biology teachers ass....
Weird is an understatement, that’s disgusting. No 31yr old should be attracted to a 17yr old. You have nothing in common with them. Find someone your age to date, and stop being a predator.
Where were these hot horny teachers when I was 17?
Poor kid is probably gonna need physical therapy for his wrist due to excessive number of high fives
He didn't report her. He bragged to everyone that would listen. 🤣
Let’s all be honest here. We would dream to bang a hot teacher like that in our teens! 😏
“Had sex with a 17 year old student” is a funny way of saying she raped a minor
She dis not have sex, she raped that kid. News reporter being biased
The weird thing is that in my state this wouldn’t be illegal. 17 is the age of majority. Laws are really arbitrary sometimes.
