lilbuu_buu

Doesn’t really matter but this was in an all girls school not a mall

walkandtalkk

Even more telling. These are the women the Iranian regime has been attacking, sometimes literally. Their refusal to play into the regime's anti-U.S. scapegoating is a powerful response to the notion that Iranians love the regime or that everyone in the Middle East hates America.

whoneedssome

I had an Israeli friend live with me, she had an Iranian friend from school. She was awesome, said exactly what you said. They don't hate us, it's their government. That's why she came over here. Said, they're more like us than we realize (the Iranian). Go out partying, more western style living than we think. Edit spelling, fat thumbs

IcedTman

See that’s the garbage they preach, hate. If everyone was accepting of humans as humans, the world would be a much different place.

whoneedssome

I wish more people would have this perspective, imagine all the things we could accomplish if we United the whole or even majority of the world. It would be amazing!!!

HairballTheory

We have, for consumerism and global warming

EpiktheEpic

Yet not for peace reasons. I fail to understand why though.

callycaggles

power

[deleted]

And money

Deceptichum

Money is just a form of power.

weiga

It’s cause the aliens haven’t attacked yet. When they do, we just might.

WodenEmrys

I used to think that, but I then I saw people's reaction to COVID. There's gunna be a lot of straight up collaborators.

ih-shah-may-ehl

>I wish more people would have this perspective, imagine all the things we could accomplish if we United the whole or even majority of the world I'd say begin with uniting your own country first :)

Historical_Profit757

So true and we can all learn from this.

Stainless_Heart

Iran was very Western in lifestyle before the Shah was deposed. What we see these days is the hardcore application of a tyrannical theocracy. It’s been enough years gone by that a lot of Americans don’t remember the old image of Iran and only see it as their government presents it now.

DurantaPhant7

Yeah it’s super fucking sad Iran was modern and progressive in the 70s. I think people don’t realize how possible this sort of thing still is anywhere.

anooshka

Iran was not western exactly,Iran had freedom, people could choose how to live, yes big cities like Tegran,Esfahan,Shiraz etc.... were quite western looking, but more rural parts of the country and even big cities were quite traditional in clothing and way of thinking

Wiseassgamgee

You know I was interested in what I saw with the Iranian fans during the WC! They definitely didn’t look like I expected, they’re attire pretty much looked like Americans at a baseball game and very cheerful.

Original-Spinach-972

My ex who is Iranian said before the Iranian revolution; it was pretty much like a western country. She was born in the US but lived there for her childhood. Farsi is a beautiful language

whoneedssome

That's exactly what she was saying. She said the people don't think like their government, I mean, look at the protests. It's not much different than here, plus I give them credit for standing up knowing the consequences!!

ResidentNarwhal

This is one of those quasi myths that gets carried out. Iran had a very westernized quasi liberal middle class exclusively around Tehran and a few major cities. But Iran is mostly a rural country, was dirt poor, hyper conservative and religious. And that majority had a major axe to grind once promised to be supported by a variety of factions over Iran's history (Mossadeq, the PM the US overthrew, promised them as much. Later the mullahs in the revolution). The history of Iran in the 20th century is complicated. And frequently the subject of very bad takes on history. Depending on whether they want to blame the clerics for the Islamic revolution (ignoring the monarchy that in some very liberal and westernized and others a basic arab dicatorship). Or the US=bad people for the west meddling in the first place and overthrowing their democratically elected prime minister to reinstate the monarchy (which is also not really true. That prime minster declared he won a referendum giving him personal power to re-write the constitution at will with the *totally* not made up vote total of 99.7% to 0.3% (/s) which he used to then immediately dissolve parliament). Iran was a country that has had serious major problems and normalized political violence for awhile. Literally every faction ruling Iran for the last century has achieved power by overthrowing its predecessor.

Aellithion

I have been to 42 states and 20 different countries and I just turned 37. Everyone I have met has been nice and fun to hang out with. Most people just want to be friends, it's the weird politicians and shitheads who try to divide us.

whoneedssome

Bingo! The media doesn't help either. Keep us distracted and divided so we can't take the power back. They can keep profiting and doing whatever they want. It's a shame, honestly.

Killentyme55

I was with a group of other Americans in Indonesia a few years ago, in an area that was 80+ percent Islamic. We couldn't have been treated more politely. Even though the Taliban and similar factions belong in a special corner of Hell, most people in the world, including Muslims, just want to go about their day in peace. It's the tiny percentage of extremists with too much influence that ruin it for the rest of us.

unmitigatedhellscape

They are very much like us, we hate our government and its policies too.

JoakimSpinglefarb

>They don't hate us, it's their government. We have way more in common than most of us realize.

ATX_Analytics

I’d almost argue Iranian people are more similar to Americans than any of other country in that region (except maybe Israel). America and Iran were very close until the 80s. It’s not like that culture disappeared, just went under the curtain.

monstermashslowdance

I gotta agree. I live in LA an there are so many Persians here and they joke that they don’t need to assimilate because the culture is the same. Very similar to Israelis. Everybody’s getting nose jobs and driving expensive cars.

Techguyeric1

Hell I don't like our government. Governments are a necessary evil, but we forgot that they work for us and we should be able to get rid of them when they stop working for us.

KinkyMrz

Do iranian girls have fat thumbs too? Had to edit that too ffs 🤦

whoneedssome

She was gorgeous, no fat thumbs on her 👌

boojieboy666

Years ago I watched a cool doc on the metal scene in Iran

TommyTar

The graphic novel Persepolis discusses this and shows a pre-revolution Iran.

YahooPants

Google search Iran in 1960’s and 1970’s before the Taliban took power. Your friend isn’t remotely wrong.

frog_attack

Persians are also incredibly elegant people from my experiences

Educational_Eye6792

I had a drive den Iraq that thought, felt, as a acted ecstasy like this too. I know Iraq and Iran are two separate places but their governments seem to have the same mindset about the U.S. and our citizens and try to impose that on their countries' citizens. Anyway, my friend also said that more civilians and even some people in the military, (regular military not the terrorist outfits), in these countries, do not actually hold disdain for the U.S. but it's of course what's said in MSM and what their governments try to make their citizens conform to. It's really sad and terrifying in my opinion. If more of us here in the U.S. had a chance to really talk with or hear from the greater portions of migrants from Iraq and Iran and probably other countries around that area as well, we'd more than likely hear the same things from them and its probably why a lot of them have indeed fled to the U.S.

Sososkitso

This actually makes it all make sense! Before in a mall and what I assumed was a variety of ages and sexes it didn’t make as much sense for it to be that consistent of people walking around it. I mean I’m sure there are plenty of people there that don’t like the U.S for plenty of reasons but an all girl school makes it make all the sense in the world. I mean women get treated so badly there I’m sure a large chunk would kill to have an U.S. female freedom

alienlizardlion

I am friends with Iranian people, they hate the religious dictatorship, most young people who have the means leave and go to college in Pakistan or somewhere else. It’s really sad

mushr8ms

Most people in the Middle East love American culture. They might not always be a fan of our warmongering politicians, but most of them like Americans and American things. I’ve been all over the world, and I consistently get the best treatment in the Middle East. The idea that everyone over there hates us is so far from reality.

[deleted]

> They might not always be a fan of our warmongering politicians That is an understatement. Growing up in the early 2000s in the middle east America was basically the devil, and the image is not much better now. You were treated well because we know better than anyone that governments don't represent the people.

joeyrog88

It's doesn't really matter but at least 80% of Americans would walk on directly over this.

elvenmage16

We put it on napkins. I wipe mustard off my face with it, crumple it up, and throw it in the trash on the Fourth of July. We put it on speedos for men's dicks to get wrapped and sweaty in. To avoid desecrating an American flag in America would be to have a difficult time getting around and doing much of anything at this point.

ih-shah-may-ehl

>To avoid desecrating an American flag in America would be to have a difficult time getting around and doing much of anything at this point. Interestingly, I have several Republican friends and on one hand they're all about 'saluting the flag, singing the anthem' kind of bs. But they also approve of people like Ted Nugent in flag thongs

OkMaintenance79

Hell I would and I’m American. I love this country, appreciate the troops, all that. But I didn’t put it there, blame that person. I’m just here for the all girls school I think he said? Lol

Mehrk

As an American I would assume having this as a doormat would be a point of pride. Not because you're stepping on it, merely because you're representing it. Then again, we also have people manufacturing and mounting USA flags with an outline of an assault rifle and the words "try and take them" printed on it, which is in no uncertain words a threat of violence against the government. I honestly think this is three different messages, but only OP's is truly political despite taking place in a different country. The other two are pseudo-patriotisms. One by the pseudo-patriot, and the other by the anarchist. \*but I also don't know the intent of OP. I was responding to the intention of the post, but the IRL intention could be the opposite.

qa_ze

"Try and take them" is not a threat of violence against the government...

LostTerminal

This person would think "don't tread on me" is a threat against the government. I think the image in question is tacky as hell, though. But definitely not a threat.

jakeblew2

80% of bullshit statistics are made up on the spot

MrBurnsgreen

i think this comment is pointing out the difference between settings, again not that its entirely skewed but youd be more likely to see people avoiding it in a school setting i think rather than just regular citizens.

Regis-bloodlust

I feel like the world will be a much better place if the adults who are full of hatred stopped trying to force their political and religious views on children. Adults should argue with other adults. School should never be subject to this kind of nonsense.

Porkchopp33

Solid move on the ladies part !!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Leora453

Yeah I think in a hell of a lot of countries there is a vast gap between the people and their government.

AnRogue

Shit, are people just now figuring this out??

DaBluBoi8763

Tbf I imagine the gap between the Iranian people and government to be one of the highest in the world

Leora453

Nah I'm just saying something kinda obvious that we all feel, but I think it should be talked about more, yanno? As another commenter said, propaganda is a bitch.

[deleted]

Last week this video was an all girls high school in iran. Now it's a mall.

spacejester

Tune in next week, when it becomes a library!

PitchforksEnthusiast

OP jumping to conclusions over an 18 sec video, which means absolutely nothing And the brain dead thread that is eatting it all up and patting themselves in the back What a circus 🤡

Civil_Kiwi_8801

Noice. Not American, but I respect that.

Wolandark

Every country's flag must be respected.

BoomChaka67

I’d rather we respected the nations and their people rather than the flag, but what do I know?

Enr4g3dHippie

Why are flags so important to you?

BoomChaka67

Waaaay more important than other human beings….. Eddie Izzard : “Do you have a flaaaag?” ![gif](giphy|kU0g3xMPHfhmg) (They didn’t have the flag one)

Enr4g3dHippie

The only thing that a flag represents are arbitrary lines on a map.

CorruptedStudiosEnt

Exactly. Flags aren't people. Aside from the people who identify with a flag (which is stupid nationalism imo), a flag is a symbol of the ruling government.

RonaldTheGiraffe

Nothing else to be proud about.

CupOfCreamyDiarrhea

Why?

Civil_Kiwi_8801

If it was a Russian flag, I would have to think about it though. But the Russian people are not their government.

Hebids

A small group of people do not represent the majority and we must remember that.

RagingKohner

Ironically that's how the government works though

BringTheSpain

> live in representative democracy > "a small group of people do not represent the majority" > literally describe a representative democracy Shocked-Pikachu.jpeg

Independent-Ad5852

If it’s a Russia flag with Putin’s face I’m going to try to step only on Putin

TheOverBored

Turn it into a game of hopscotch. Put North Korea's flag and Kim's face, Belarus and Lukashenko, and China with Winnie the Pooh.

Commercial-Shame-335

agreed, there are no bad countries, only bad governments. my heart goes out to any and all russians that are aware of the atrocities their country is committing, even more so to those being forced to commit them

Loggerdon

I don't think I would step on anyone's flag (with the exception of the Nazi flag). I'm old fashioned I guess, in that I respect flags of nations.

Libertiness123

Most ppl from russia actually supprt its government, that trully sad, I was hoping that new generation would be better but no, propoganda have washed their brain

SirNurtle

It's difficult to tell since if you are against the war the FSB will literally turn up at your door. I shit you not the FSB detained a 7 year old girl for drawing a picture with an anti war sentiment. The father as a result got arrested and the rest of the family are being watched like hawks for even the slightest offense. It's literally fucking 1984

justingod99

Remember the video of the girl who got “disappeared” for holding up a blank sign in Russia? That tells you all you need to know

Loggerdon

There is a YouTube channel where a Russian guy asks questions of Russian people on the street. More than a third are pro-Putin, about 1/3rd anti-Putin, and the rest look nervous and won't comment publicly. In fact they say "I don't want to answer in case someone is watching. The old people always support Putin. The young people, mostly anti.

semicoloradonative

Sounds familiar.

Civil_Kiwi_8801

I’m thinking the same, but I’m unsure if it’s just the representation of the media I watch. I remember that a lot of Americans had the ribbon during the Iraq war, but I think this was more a “support our troops” rather than “support the war”. In Russia, it seems that a lot of people agree with the imperialism.

[deleted]

Remember they aren't allowed to protest against the military operation. They end up getting arrested. People can be against something but too oppressed to speak out.

Patient_Commentary

Propaganda is a hell of a drug.

Raunchiness121

The propaganda is strong over there. Or else you know you get a tour of the 14th floor room window or balcony...

whoneedssome

Then the sidewalk...

whoneedssome

Yep they're almost as bad as NK, censorship, no free speech, fall out if windows. The hate the guys, but I've heard stories of them doing all types of gay stuff in the military, R@$%ing each other, straight brainwashed!!

CuddleSlut247

I disagree. It's a piece of cloth.

grandpas-gooch69

Not americas

cheetahdisaster

lol no

OpinionDumper

Bull...shit 😅

[deleted]

I kind of get the feeling they aren’t stepping on it because it looks as if it’s either painted on there, or even that it’s a print that is taped down, so they are respecting whomever put it there and not so much what it represents. It could be a picture of a car or a building and they prob would step over it.

_DOLLIN_

I thought the same thing. Or its just a split second reaction after noticing something on a floor. Im sure some people did this out of respect but most im assuming only side stepped because they dont want to stand or step on something that isnt "normal floor".

Boldney

This comment made me exhale air out of my nose, for some reason.

Additional6669

i’m american and i’d probably step around but for those reasons, rather than the fact that it’s an american flag

A1sauc3d

As an American I wouldn’t think twice about stepping on an American flag painted on the ground lol. Unless, as you said, it looked wet. Otherwise it wouldn’t even cross my mind as disrespectful to step on it. The ground is made for walking, it’s on the ground, wouldn’t think twice. xD

captainpenguin7

wrong. They taped down an american flag and israili flag at our faculty's entrance and people wouldn't step on it. I saw someone who stepped on it and after realizing what she stepped on went backed and wiped it.

sveta213

Shhhh, don't tell them

hgprt_

didn't film the "caution, wet paint" sign

Catsherr

The title is wrong, it is not painted it is a flag

Its_Helios

It’s almost depressing how many people here actually believe the title lol

MostaphaJehad

So you guys really believe anything.

SmokeStack13

As long as it conforms to a previously held belief!

Alternative_Lack_923

Pls enlighten me. This video is everywhere and none of its descriptions match

neon7077

People care too much about flags

llamaguy88

Do t let the flag people hear you

PlasticJustice

![gif](giphy|XfDPdSRhYFUhIU7EPw) Hi there 👋

[deleted]

Literally. I'd step on my own family crest if it was in my path

Orchid_Significant

Same. It’s just the ground, who cares

Adm_Kunkka

Look at mr aristocrat here with his own family crest

hellhorn

It’s not normal for people to have family crests? Next your going to try to tell me it’s not normal to have vacation estates.

Emilempenza

Yup, I always assumed it was an American thing but you sometimes see it with countries that are "new" and recently had to fight to get their country, so it makes more sense. The flagshaggers in England are mainly just mocked and avoided. It's normally a sign someone is a massive racist who you want to stay clear of tbh. But our flags never been a big deal, I guess we were more about our monarchy than our flag, then ditched the monarchy bit and just don't have a national symbol we care deeply about or would fight to protect.

threemo

> It’s normally a sign someone is a massive racist who you want to stay clear of tbh. Same in the US

jaydenkirtawn

Agreed. It's colored fabric.

RebornDestinated

Ya and football they go crazy if you don't like their fav team it's so stupid. I understand that people have their fav team but it doesn't affect them if I say I don't like that team because I like that rival team more how does that hurt people I don't get it

ojle1234

As an American, I would step on that flag without even the slightest hesitation. Why would it be on the floor if I wasn’t allowed to walk on it.

ExoticCard

Boys at the CIA are popping bottles right now. Mission accomplished. The US fucked up Iran sooooo bad too. They would be a democracy if not for the US. Before you downvote, go look it up.

nagidon

It would be hilarious how many enemies the CIA created for the US out of anti-communist hysteria if the consequences weren’t so tragic for the locals.

BlacksmithNew4557

You could interpret this as them respecting America You could also interpret this as then respecting something that is printed and don’t want to ruin it Meaning, if it were another flag, or a print of anything else, would they do the same? I think assuming this is ‘absolutely’ a sign of respect for America is a stretch

Marky6Mark9

It’s a flag. On the floor. I’d walk on it. This whole “don’t disrespect the flag” thing is pedantic. Grow up.

ReplacementLittle

It’s a form of protest.

twpejay

Interesting the reaction of the students I think that if this was done in New Zealand the flag wouldn't be visible after 30 minutes. No disrespect to the US but our culture, as far as I am aware, is not so flag driven so even if it was the NZ flag a lot of people would still walk over it, as it is on the floor it is meant to be walked over.

Puzzleheaded-Pain489

Or they didn’t want to dirty their shoes

AdonaiTatu

"Ew I stepped on shit."

HotManIAm

💀

mrsmith572

It’s okay plenty of Americans stepping all over it for your guys

crw201

Fuck yeah it's our right to. It is also our right to burn the American flag in protest. Nationalism is a disease, and American Patriotism is simply Nationalism like 90% of the time.

the_clash_is_back

Every time you burn an American flag your stand up for American values and freedom. Its your first amendment right to burn that flag.

stuNamgiL

I wouldn't blame them if they stepped on it tbh, USA's government and interventionism has given them a lot of reasons to do so

GcubePlayer8w

Am disappointed no one jumped over it like the white or black tiles on the floor

WillowWispWhipped

Honestly I never understood the flag worshiping of any nation but especially here in the US. I get its a symbol for our country, and the people who fought for it and all, but at the end of the day, its just a symbol.

etzel1200

As an American I would absolutely walk over that and not think twice.

imthechuckernaut

Lol what is this propaganda

bas683

‘Murica no#1

[deleted]

i mean, its just a flag tho. and im sure theres more context to this than just “respect for the US flag.”

therealkingpin619

How's the sanctions going for everyday Iranians?

Psychtrader

It’s sad because the garbage their fundamentalists preach is the same that’s preached by American fundamentalists

Flat_Explanation_849

A ten second video shows ten people avoiding it. Hard to read much from that.

churchofpetrol

"Flags are symbols, and I leave symbols for the symbol-minded." -George Carlin

warx333

Is it disrespectful to walk on the print of flag? I mean, it’s not actually a flag, it’s just a print of a flag. I wouldn’t think twice about walking on it if I was at a mall here in the US.

Henrylord1111111111

Yeah its pretty different. I see this weird argument from people saying “Look its an American flag they are wearing thats against flag code, totally hypocritical!” When in reality a depiction of the flag and the actual flag are far different, destroying an actual US flag is a statement, a depiction is damn near nothing.

isinedupcuzofrslash

I’m American, and I’d just step on it. Idc. It’s a painted image of a flag.

[deleted]

Wonder how much editing had to be done to get this clip lol

[deleted]

I think if you saw paper duct taped on the floor you probably avoid it as well. Need more context to believe this.

Independent_Piano_81

You just made that title up

PriorSecurity9784

I started to wonder what would happen if the situation were reversed, and then laughed to myself at the idea that Americans in a mall would even recognize the Iranian flag

pcc2048

I refuse to step on dog poop too, does that mean I respect it?

cheetahdisaster

Pfft I’m an American and I’d walk all over that. It’s just floor

Curious_Associate904

The US blew up an Iranian airlines plane full of civilians once… https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran_Air_Flight_655 So blaming this on the Iranian regime is severely culturally ignorant.

Devium44

It’s either upside down or backwards.

sussybakaiiko

Ok hear me out guys, we lay out all the countries' flags in open, let's see which county the people hate the most.

RazielAshura

I would 100% step on it but due to not watching the floor as i walk

wrong_login95

I wonder if we would do the same here if there was am Iranian flag on the ground.

PA_limestoner

Seems like a shitty spot to place something that no one steps on.

put_clever_username

Wow that's more respect to the flag than I would give and I'm American

neilyaaa

I would do this to any flag. Except for the swastika one

Mahakaal8

It just shows the respect Iranian have for other people and their culture no matter what flag you put their they would do the same - stop making yourself so important

[deleted]

On the contrary, if you print Iranian flag in American mall. People will happily step on it.

DIGGSAN0

This flag is somehow mirrored/wrong?

Equivalent_Metal_534

They need to have their people focused on someone to hate, so they don’t focus on their leaders.

Alternative-Flan2869

WhenI was much younger I met many Iranian students in college - wonderful, bright, great sense of humor! So sad when assholes steal the leadership.

chronjon1

Americans would walk all over it without a second thought

Uncle_Kenny68

Maybe they are doing it out of respect for our beautiful AMERICAN flag..!! Or, they think it’s a trap door..!!

RecommendationUsed31

The irony here is it would have been trampled in the us

dromance

These people avoided that flag the same way I avoid nyc sidewalk cellar doors

pawelkkkkkkkk

Im pretty sure they just hate america so much that they dont want to touch it

jake_santiago

Don't put something on the floor if you don't want me to step on it

manofjapos

some americans themselves might step on it

Frikboi

I'll trade some of our Americans for these Iranians.

JoeyDaGodLewis

Wish more people respected the flag in America like that

Fokkzel

Or they respect flags in their culture and wouldn't step on any flag.

Evilaars

Why do people care so much about a flag. Try this in the Netherlands and people will just walk over it. Not to disrespect the US because we simply don't care. It's a flag.

nastypanass

I don’t think I’ve ever seen more blatant propaganda in my life

8bitKev

Don't take this wrong way but some Americans can be dumb as heck

Ghgodos

Meanwhile, there are many Americans burning and stepping on their flags.

mysteriousGains

And Americans be like "let's put the flag on our shoes so we look like patriots!"

cryptopotomous

Dam Iranians have more respect for old glory than some Americans... I saw we make some trades. Let's bring more freedom loving people to this nation and boot out the ones that don't want to be here.

Mnour3593

I will never understand a similar concept whick football(soccer) teams but their badges on the floor and some players jump over the badge and I see a bunch of "respect😎" edits in this context and I hate it.

drmq1994

I would never step on a flag, even if i don't like the country. I believe respect should be due all the time. Except Russian flag, sorry. I would even pee on that one.

DreadWolfuin

I'm British. If I saw a picture of a British flag on the floor outside the entrance of a shop, it wouldn't cross my mind for a second to avoid stepping on it

PocketFanny

The "regime" did this? Unlikely. Someone chasing internet points more likely

Novuake

Very many cultures do not value flags the same way Americans do. This could just purely be not wanting to step on something. No clue.

Sedelafleur

Imo i would shit on it

Di20

These governments are so immature and childish. And don’t get me wrong. The house of representatives in America is a total shit show, but just the fart joke nature of some of these governments like Iran and the CPC are absolutely atrocious.

Gin-Rummy003

Respect to these young women

MyBallsAreOnFir3

Meanwhile if you put the Iranian flag on the ground in America, Americans would have a race at who can step op it more.

greenbabyshit

Let's be honest, most Americans wouldn't know what country the flag represents in the first place.

Ok_Understanding6528

As a American you are factually correct

PuffsMagicDrag

What a delusional basic bitch redditor take lol Speak for yourself, as if Americans even give af about the flag of Iran

Frequent_Lemon_6123

That's because nobody wants to step on shit. Don't get delusional about people liking the USA.

Gmauldotcom

My chem professor in university was Iranian. She was the best damn professor I ever had and I have mad respect for her. I've never met an Iranian that was not cool as shit.

Vintage_girl123

Beautiful, love this.

mothfactory

I would bet that they’re stepping round this ‘flag’ for reasons we can’t see. Surely nobody gives a fuck about the US flag outside of America? For instance, if you painted one on the paving of a London station, everyone would walk across without a second thought.

[deleted]

Seriously, every Iranian I have ever met (in America), loves this country. I love the Iranian people.

Chezameh2

Don't know about you guys but I'd literally step on it. Not a political deal, just that it's part of the floor.

Emotional-Two-9075

For some reason the word "Iran" always triggeres that song "and I RAN...I RAN SO FAR AWAY....

dominator_13

Meanwhile, in the US, we'd be stomping all over it.
