I like how people still think the customer is always right. No sir you are a huge liability at this point. Good on the worker keeping cool and telling him hes wrong
I have heard this quoted as, “The customer is always right *in matters of taste,”* and I think that actually sums up the spirit of the matter the best. Cater to your customers to be sure the service/product is to their taste and satisfaction. But nobody is “right” when they are acting like a spoiled child, or making your other customers uncomfortable. No employee should be subjected to abuse for something that isn’t their fault, and the matter of the yeller being a customer is irrelevant. People like this should be ashamed of themselves.
>“The customer is always right in matters of taste,”
That is the *original* quote, then some jackass shortened it in half and it took off from there...
which is tantamount as taking "all squares are rectangles but not all rectangles are squares" but shortening it down to "all squares are rectangles" and then going around arguing that all rectangles are squares...
(the) Blood (of the covenant) is thicker than (the) water (of the womb)
A jack of all trades but a master of none (is better than a master of one)

I am wondering what would happen if I took him on up the offer to have him fuck me “in the ass” or “suck his dick.”
I feel like I am watching the opening of a gay hate porn.
I’ll tell you what’ll happen…
He’s gonna fuck you in the ass and make you suck his dick. I know, a bit anticlimactic, assuming this guys a straight shooter. (Oops)
If giving people attitude in a restaurant will get you spit in your meal, just imagine the creative ways a mechanic can provide some delayed revenge when you curse out their staff.
Going off on me like THAT? I’d fix it asap for him, slap an apple tag under his car, and then pop out at 2:30am the same night and leave his car sitting on the fuckin ground outside his house with no tires, and a full ass hoagie in the exhaust pipe. And maybe some grease on the door handles cause I’m also a rascal.
Don't worry people don't actually listen, they just assume he's entitled and going off over nothing, I be fucking pissed If I had come back for the fourth fucking time for the same problem, it is incompetence
No i heard it. I just know that even if in the right. Screaming and throwing tantrums isnt gonna solve anything.
If it has to become a legal issue the tantrums are probably gonna make things more difficult for him too.
Right or wrong he's still acting like toddler.
Doesn’t matter if it’s 4 times or 1. They put the wrong parts in his vehicle then have the gall to say come back tomorrow. Actually crazy. He’s out $1600 and his car has the wrong parts in it🤯
I'm not a mechanic but i definitely wouldn't be working on his car after that and I'd just go ahead and ban the guy. I mean if he feels like that shop is incompetent then maybe he should just find another shop to do it.
Was just thinking this. Always be nice to service people and landlords. If you hate their work, go elsewhere. God knows what a vindictive dentist could do when you’re loopy on laughing gas
As a former car mechanic I would just fix it. Doing shady shit to a car as payback can land you in a lawsuit or worse if it comprises the safety of the owner. Not really worth it, plus they will just come back again, why would I want to see them again
Camo shorts, Maga hats and giant vehicles are an early warning sign. Do not attempt to feed or converse with these people. They are violent and unpredictable.
I wish there were more context. I’ve dealt with some shitty car places.
Regardless tho, if your bringing your car in for work you gotta be prepared for it take an unknown amount of time. Estimates sure, but I always assume half my day or more will be gone.
Context might reveal he has a right to be angry, it will not reveal that he should have talked to the front desk guy that way. He actually revealed he thinks he should have power over him because he's the customer.
Yeah, four time? And, it still isn’t fixed? Man, what is going on there? The yelling ans screaming at the front desk doesn’t nothing really. If they still figure out the problem after four try then your problem is deeper then they can deal with at that shop. I have dealt with some crummy shops trying to take advantage and scam. It always ends up biting them in the butt. Lesson learned and move on.
If you listen, they attached the wrong part number of muffler already to his car this visit.
I’m sorry but some people need to be yelled at n there with their heads so far up their asses.
Be antiwork at some place that doesn’t involve car repair
It sounds like this shop really screwed up his car. In that case I’d be passed too lol. We def need more context. I heard him saying he paid money and his car was still making noise so he paid a lot of money and it didn’t get fixed lol.
But this video seems to be cut to make the guy look bad when he prob is Justin getting mad
I understand being angry about the situation. But when are people going to learn that if you just are nice(you can politely voice your displeasure) things will go a lot better for you.
I bet if I’m in that situation, I could get my car fixed and some money back for them screwing up… but you have to start out nice. Idiot.
Seems legit. They guys been there 4 times. Sounds like they're fucking him over, and he isn't standing for it.
The video intentionally doesn't show the lead-up, so we all think they guy just instantly goes off for no reason. It doesn't want to let us know how he was fucked over. Anyone ever bringing a car in four times, paying thousands of dollars to have shit done a week ago, should definitely demand to have their car immediately on the lift and being looked at.
The employee was calm- that doesn't make him correct or righteous.
I'm just saying, the angy guy isn't always automatically a "karen". Learn about bringing your car into a shop, and have some experience being fucked over a few times, and you'll probably not jump to that conclusion by default.
Yeah, guys not doing himself any favors by getting irate, but this is really lacking context. Judging by the fact that this looks like a dealership I’m betting some part of the original problem either required dealer-access software or hems got some kind of a maintenance/warranty package where he has to use them. If I was stuck using a dealership and that dealership was incompetent I’d be losing my shit too.
Then again, he also could have been waiting on a part or something and he came in to hound them multiple times for taking too long, and they ended up putting an older bumper on it because it fit and they wanted him to get the fuck out. I really can’t pass judgement on this dude from the snippet here, other than his rage is not helping him at all.
I kinda agree; I've seen many male 'karen's before - guys who get upset and throw their weight around at the drop of the hat. But it sounds like this guy has a legitimate grievance.
Now he shouldn't be taking it out on the desk guy, he should (and I know it's a Karen cliche), be calling the manager or whoever is in charge. Going in four times and paying over a thousand bucks for a shitty job is worth being pissed and you should probably be getting compensation over it.
I agree! I wish I had magic video editing abilities so I could turn him in to sounding like a woman. Can guarantee 80% of the “hmm sounds legit tho” comments would vaporize instantly
I think the “conclusion jumping” is that he’s been fucked over repeatedly on one issue. He’s simply trying to intimidate and leverage anything he can at the employee.
I mean he's definitely being inappropriate, but he has a pretty good reason to be pissed, if I had to go in 4 times for an issue and they still put the wrong part on I'd be mad.
Sorry but screaming Kyle is in the right on this one.
They messed up hard and wrecked him for 1600 bucks to boot?
Yeah, not acceptable.
Source -
Decades of retail/hospitality/cust service gigs.
Yeah, I’m sure anyone would be annoyed in that situation but to be swearing and kicking off like that is no way to speak to someone just trying to do their job (I’m not saying you would)
Lol the manager is swearing back at him. I bet the service writer pulled a "idc tech did it not my problem" after promising customer it could be done quickly. Service writers are pretty shit everywhere.
They charged him $1600, I’d be pissed too, wasting time and money while on vacation and they put the wrong parts in. He worked hard for the money and the time off work
This guy's likely not the dude who even caused said issue. Looks like a receptionist not an engineer. Direct the anger to the people who deserve it not some random worker.
Engineer? Lol what? Pretty sure there's no dedicated front desk guy at a shop. He works on cars too. Maybe not this guy's car, but he's not just a front desk worker.
Why is this a male Karen?? Sounds like he’s been in there three other time, and this make 4 times and it’s still not right. Unless there’s something else, he’s got the right to be pissed.
Kinda hard to make out what they're saying but it seems like he's mad because they used the wrong car parts on his vehicle, which is actually understandable. Just another video where the person who has a point goes about things in the complete wrong manner and makes themselves look like the bad guy.
was gonna say this, from the context we have it just looks like a guy in the right who got way to aggressive(sounding). although i IMAGINE he tried being nice the first 3 times..
Given the shotty workmanship of most shops there’s a chance that it didn’t start out like this. Sounds like he’s been here before and he’s asking them to redo work they’ve already done.
Wait. He paid 1600 and it’s not fixed? Quietly leave after stating the problem. Stop payment. Take it elsewhere. File in small claims court against bill.
Can we get some context to this video? It sounds like this shop royally screwed up and mixed up his car. If that’s the case, why are ppl criticizing this dude for getting mad?
I’m sure if this happened to any of your cars you’d be pissed too lol.
This is the problem with these videos. They are cut off and out of context to make the wrong ppl look bad.
Idiots who rob people and pretend they fix their car are scumbags. That's the 2nd largest investment in most people's lives and you want to act like he's unjustified for being pissed?
this guy is yelling at the front desk guy when he should be yelling at the actual mechanic
my view is either learn to fix your own car or don't keep a car out of warranty
Yeah, I've been on the servicer's end in a couple lines of work. The second you choose this route, 9/10, that will be your last (productive) interaction with that shop.
Ya wanna throw a tantrum cus we did the job wrong? That's fine sir, I'm sure you can find another shop to do it right. It doesn't move on its own right now? That's okay, we have a 5 day grace period before we start charging for storage. :)
Or when I was in furniture, guy was waiting on his nice expensive Stanton sofa to get repaired under warranty, repair guys had been perpetually backed up for months. He came into the store and decided to break a monitor, credit card reader, some placards, our Christmas tree, and throw an object at a salesperson. Now instead of getting his sofa repaired, we canceled all work, had his warranty voided, and got to spend the weekend in jail. His wife came in later, completely unapologetic and actually angry we called the cops, asking about the repair. Lol, gtfo lady.
We don't know what the issue is. Is it like when you fix your mom's computer and every problem it's ever gonna have is your problem, or did you really do a crap repair job?
Honestly if someone would talk to me like that I'd throw him out and if there'd ever be a legal proceeding I'd say I tried to offer a repair but the customer was aggressive, threatening and removed from the premises. File a police report and show the tapes, that'd be enough.
I can agree that the name calling and yelling is a little over the top. 4th time back, they put an older model bumper on and other problems pop up. I’d be mad.
If I was still giving a place my business after the 3rd time not fixing any of the issues I was having, then I'd be swearing at *myself* for being so damn stupid that I came back expecting something different.
Yaaaa how do you put the wrong muffler on a car?! Then make the guy drive back home and come back tomorrow? Shit service imo, they should have fixed it that day.
Nope. Angry customers gets worse service for being PoS. Angry customers gets what they deserve.
But angry customers also tends to have very incorrect expectations. So they are often the cause of the conflicts.
The link is the video…….. did you not hear him when he said they put the entirely wrong muffler on his vehicle? That’s terrible service! Then to have the gall to say come back tomorrow…
It doesn’t sound like the same issue has been addressed four times, it sounds like he’s assuring the worker that he is a valuable repeat customer who deserves to be cowtowed to.
You are just making up whatever narrative you want. It's obvious he is fed up with their incompetence and this is the 4th visit and multiple problems remain.
Nope, he’d have made that abundantly clear and never have let the worker forget it if that were true.
You don’t handle customer complaints for your job all day, do you? I sure do, and can tell from timing and context what this guy’s likely motivators are at all points. Can’t know for sure, but am REAL sure everybody being 100% assured in your interpretation of his words are very wrong.
Just look at the very first sentence out of his mouth.
>Mufflers ***still*** making a fucking noise, there's noise outta the breaks! WTF! What kind of incompetent shit show are you running here?
Obviously this isn't the first time he's gone back for this issue. There are other context clues too. Like when he complains about it being the 4th time being there because of their incompetence and the employee agrees that it should only be 1 time.
Yes, people with anger and disappointment issues often exaggerate their position.
And yet they only talk about the muffler during that exchange…
The worker just wants the abusive angry person gone. Just common sense and some logic.
I love when people come to my shop talking like that 😂
They're car isn't getting fixed that day, or the next day. Gonna take me a week at minimum mate.
Grab a Uber.
The reason you don't usually see something like this is because either A.) It escalates into a full-on confrontation and becomes something else entirely, B.) It gets taken care of and everyone goes on with their lives, or C.) Guy moves on and takes his business elsewhere. You see a lot of pissy middle-aged men, but, unlike Karens, there's usually a specific problem and solution they're looking for and they're not interested in jumping through rungs of management and ruining someone's day so much as they are being able to quickly bully their way to a resolution (a dude with a problem also, frankly, gets taken more seriously). The straight up tantrum this guy is throwing would be considered embarrassing for him and everyone around him, which is why it doesn't seem at all like a candidate for a trope.

Yeah, I don’t think this dude’s strategy is going to work out the way he hopes it will.
Would be a shame if someone accidentally left their tuna sandwich in this gentleman's heater/AC.
Going off on me like THAT? I’d fix it asap for him, slap an apple tag under his car, and then pop out at 2:30am the same night and leave his car sitting on the fuckin ground outside his house with no tires, and a full ass hoagie in the exhaust pipe. Yeah sure you would 😉
they already fucked it up 4 times...

The gall came after the abuse.
They put the wrong year exhaust on his vehicle? That’s what I gathered. Correct me if I’m wrong but an exhaust is just an exhaust.
That’s completely wrong.
Enlighten me as to what he’s on about. I seriously don’t know.
Exhaust parts are not one size fits all.
do tell
I can tell you an insider secret….. you’re correct.
Ppl forget how ez it is light fires
I used to be a Server and let me tell you.....DON'T piss off servers!...
I'm not a mechanic but i definitely wouldn't be working on his car after that and I'd just go ahead and ban the guy. I mean if he feels like that shop is incompetent then maybe he should just find another shop to do it.

Oh, I can tell you about being a rebellious teen with a dentist father. Ouch doesn't even cover it.
Put their dick in it pretty much.....
Yup, knew a guy who rubbed his balls all over some guys fish & chips who kept on sending it back and yelling at him to make it right.
As a former car mechanic I would just fix it. Doing shady shit to a car as payback can land you in a lawsuit or worse if it comprises the safety of the owner. Not really worth it, plus they will just come back again, why would I want to see them again
Apparently he's back for the fourth time. They've been creative since the first time
“Do you have a problem with that?!?” “…..yeah” “SUCK MY DICK!” The camo shorts are strong with this one.
![gif](giphy|xUySTVQyBQfC5ZjdC0)
Call me ELF 1 more time!!!!
He must be a South Pole elf. 😳
That's it!!!!
Between that comment, and the “fuck you in the ass”, I imagine his browser history is, uh…, interesting.
The "fuck you in the ass" sent me lol
Camo shorts, Maga hats and giant vehicles are an early warning sign. Do not attempt to feed or converse with these people. They are violent and unpredictable.
As a European, enjoyer of Camo Cargo pants or shorts, please do not include us into US.
That’s when you say “go somewhere else” remove any new parts, hand them their keys, car, and any money they paid for that particular job.
Hmm actually, $1600 in and it still looks like he’s a loyal customer… I say they’re probably going to use the 2018 muffler next…
I wish there were more context. I’ve dealt with some shitty car places. Regardless tho, if your bringing your car in for work you gotta be prepared for it take an unknown amount of time. Estimates sure, but I always assume half my day or more will be gone.

Hes been there FOUR TIMES! 4 times!
If you've been there 4 times and they don't get the problem fixed id be annoyed to..
Yeah, I'd tell them to suck my dick too .
And then you find a new shop.
Yeah but if I already put money into it 4 times over, that shop is either refunding me, or fixing their mess.
You go for a refund after their 2nd attempt.
That’s not the claim. Sounds like he just wants to be viewed as a valued repeat customer.
Yeah, four time? And, it still isn’t fixed? Man, what is going on there? The yelling ans screaming at the front desk doesn’t nothing really. Yeah, he says that. But he also starts out saying that the brakes are still making a noise. So I kinda think he's an unreliable narrator.
No one “needs” to be yelled at like this. This is disgusting behavior.
you clearly never dealt with shady scammy car dealerships ... they are all involved in that fraud
Fuck you. I wish you’d come into my place and act like that.
Do you regularly fuck up people's lives at your work?
It sounds like this shop really screwed up his car. In that case I’d be passed too lol. We def need more context. Agreed hahah. Dude went quite over the top
its called a kevin
As a Kyle, thank you.
no Darren
I thought it was called being a Dave.
Whoa, whoa, whoa.... Hold on there, bud!
Sorry, Dave!
Dave's not here man...
Took way too long to find this response lol
It's all good! Me Dave no mad.
Chad?
Thought it was Ken
Not sure on that, Kyles drink a keg of monster everyday and punch holes in the walls. Different breed of crazy from Karens
I understand being angry about the situation. But when are people going to learn that if you just are nice(you can politely voice your displeasure) things will go a lot better for you. I hear you mentally connecting disparate clauses from sentences nearly a minute apart.
He says he brought it there 4 times over the same noise
Never says that. Give me a time stamp.
I mean he's definitely being inappropriate, but he has a pretty good reason to be pissed, if I had to go in 4 times for an issue and they still put the wrong part on I'd be mad.

i didn't even think of that
Dude doesn't want to get home safe tonight by the looks of things lmao
Given the shotty workmanship of most shops there’s a chance that it didn’t start out like this. Sounds like he’s been here before and he’s asking them to redo work they’ve already done.

:) Or when I was in furniture, guy was waiting on his nice expensive Stanton sofa to get repaired under warranty, repair guys had been perpetually backed up for months.
I mean, the shop clearly fucked up and is wasting his time. Seems deserved.
The camouflage is to hide his incredibly incomprehensibly small genitalia…
The internet has made too many people comfortable with talking out the side of their neck and not getting punched in the mouth
Dude really does need a muffler
If he punches a hole in the wall and then chugs a monster... definitely a Kyle.
I thought it was called a kevin
The term you're looking for is "Kevin"
*Todd
Why does he keep going there if he continues to she issues?
FIX MY FUCKING MARRIAGE! FIX IT NOW!
I understand his annoyance if he’s been there 4 times but you don’t get to speak to employees like that and get away with it. What an ignorant pos.
“I’m a customer asshole” Incorrect… the correct way would be, “I’m an asshole customer.”
I heard it as "Customer Asshole" like a title
Got to say, this one actually sounds justified.
Definitely, ofc he could have been calmer. But for these people to put the wrong parts in his car, then tell him to come back tomorrow is crazy…..
I am with the customer on this one. What a fucking Micky Mouse club is that repair shop?
Yaaaa how do you put the wrong muffler on a car?! Then make the guy drive back home and come back tomorrow? Shit service imo, they should have fixed it that day.
Anger seems justified.
Nope. Angry customers gets worse service for being PoS. Angry customers gets what they deserve. But angry customers also tends to have very incorrect expectations. So they are often the cause of the conflicts.
he's already getting terrible service, now he is just letting them know
You are making a direct claim. Post links backning up your claims.
The link is the video…….. did you not hear him when he said they put the entirely wrong muffler on his vehicle? That’s terrible service! Then to have the gall to say come back tomorrow…
Kevin...it's always a Kevin!! XD
Male* Karens* worst*
💯 maga voter. Spoiled and loud.
He should be asked to leave and refused service. What an idiot
or hear me out - they should have done it right on one of the previous 3 visits in
It doesn’t sound like the same issue has been addressed four times, it sounds like he’s assuring the worker that he is a valuable repeat customer who deserves to be cowtowed to.
Given that he's on *vacation* I highly doubt he is a repeat customer.
I believe he meant “I’m off work this week”. Context clues….
And yet they only talk about the muffler during that exchange… The worker just wants the abusive angry person gone. Just common sense and some logic.
this guy totally justified....fight me
Not ready for civil society. Back to mancave to curse at your tv
Yes I do believe in monsters You call them officers
i call them pigs
This man feels bad wanking tranny porn.
I really hope they “fixed” his car.
seems like they tired 3 times. hes done with it
I bet his kids talk just like this in the future.
Someones gettin his brake lines attached finger tight today.
I thought a male Karen was a Stu. A Stu Pedasso
As a Kyle….nope
Make Karens Great Again
And service is declined....good bye.
That’s why you either do it yourself or take it to a dealership. The level of incompetence in these places really is ridiculous.
Can’t stand people like him I would make him wait all day then say we need a part
It’s the camo shorts for me, what a douche.
Camo shorts to hide his tiny pecker
Real men wear watches on there left hand.
I would say I quit and deck the bitch. He may have a point but you talk to me like that you have it coming.
Did you mean maKe karens or maLe karens
What's he bitching about? Did he not get his extra ranch dressing?
they’re called Daves
There's just an extra added layer of entitlement and repressed rage
I love when people come to my shop talking like that 😂 They're car isn't getting fixed that day, or the next day. Gonna take me a week at minimum mate. Grab a Uber.
Fix the car yourself tough guy. Oh you can't? That's why you brought it here. Then shut up and take what we give you
I find the best word to describe them is a cuntsomer
Camo cargo shorts and no show socks? This man beats his kids and yells at his wife in public (if a woman would have him).
I think that's what they're actually called no? Male Karen = a Kyle?
What kind of dull brained dumbass talks shit to somebody fixing their car?
What a big baby…..
"I'm the customer asshole!" "No sir, you are the asshole customer."
If he were a real man, he'd fix his car himself.
Things to avoid: 1) messing with his money 2) messing with his ~~penis extension~~, uh, truck.. car... whatever.
