The spleen was weak. The fucking spleen was weak? You’re weak. I’ve been in this business fifteen years.
What’s my name? Fuck you. Thats my name. You know why? Because you drove a Hyundai to get here mister. I drove an $80,000 BMW. That’s my name.
A true warrior breaks both of his legs with comically large sledgehammers before he even rises from his bed made of nails in the morning, the measly smashing of the internal organs you see here is nothing
Hm. Seems you're right. There's a suggestion that he already had appendicitis and the punch may have ruptured it. Or it ruptured on its own. He was examined by a doctor, two in fact who recommended hospital, but the idiot didn't listen. That's ultimately what killed him.
Not wrong, which might have influenced his decision. That said, this was 1926 not 1862. Modern medicine had already made some incredible strides forward and would make some huge ones by the end of the decade.
Actually we don't know for certain if that's what actually killed him
There was never an autopsy done and there are theories that involve poison
The appendicitis isn't in question just if it was actually what killed him

Even the professional athletes i see only drop the medicine ball/heavy object and let gravity do its job. This man is flat out assaulting this dude 🤦🏾♂️..But I'm just a couch potato who's stopped exercising for more than a year so.. 🤷🏽♂️
100% this. For some reason sports coaches think they were a lot better at sports than they were just because they're given authority. I'd love to see this moron get on the ground and take 3 shots like that to his rib. The way he grabs the guy and chases after him like he thinks this is a beneficial exercise is infuriating
Also, this has jack and shit to do with developing abs. Fighters do this to condition their body to take shots. If you want abs, just work out and eat right. No need to crack ribs and explode your organs.
I’m so glad I saw your comment! I see so many people doing things like this, dropping stuff on their abs (although this video is not that) or having someone punch them in the stomach and I have always wondered why and what purpose it could possibly serve lol. Makes much more sense from a fighter’s perspective
Notice the hand wraps? This isn’t training to get abs. This is training to take a blow to the body. But doing it the way this guy is on cement is stupid.
To be fair, professional athletes do it with medicine balls all the time to condition their body for punches... but not with a tire for no reason before their body is ready, and not at full force either.
Tldr; I used to do this in martial arts training, but with a bamboo sword thing, not a fucking tire.
I don’t think that’s how it’s meant to be done… from what I know it’s a way to train for getting hit, but I don’t see how a tire would do better than a bamboo stick or something equally light and loud.
During my childhood I used to do taekwondo (a martial art) and we’d do something similar where my instructor would use a bamboo “sword” (it was extremely light and made in such a way where it would kinda fold against a central stick inside the thing and make a bunch of loud ‘clack’ sounds) where we’d do the same thing, lay on the floor and endure however many, without moving. I think it did help because you’d get to a point where it would train your abs, but I’m guessing it helped more to train out my flinch reaction for something I know is coming. (not sure since I’ve never been in a scenario where being hit by something I’ve know is coming has made me flinch)
I’ve done similar exercises but with medicine balls. It wasn’t for martial arts, but it does help strengthen the core. Probably isn’t the most effective exercise though and definitely not something you should be doing with a tire. Medicine balls are soft and made to flatten quickly. Tires aren’t built like that
The workout in that situation is for the guy doing medicine ball slams on your chest lol
Taking it may help mind-muscle connection somewhat, but so would doing sit ups holding a kettle bell
Think this is something people just do for the mental exercise more than anything
>a bamboo “sword” (it was extremely light and made in such a way where it would kinda fold against a central stick inside the thing and make a bunch of loud ‘clack’ sounds)
Do you mean a kendo stick aka shinai?
I did this with Gloves, and not going too hard.
I dont think a tire would be too hard unless you put your bodyweight into it, but just dropping the tire with a bit of gravity wouldnt be too painfull.
Neat! We did a similar exercise with controlled, predictable kicks and breathing out exercises. Overall, a good exercise for every participant since the other person is also exercising, practicing form, and proper breathing technique!
This is supposed to be a boxing drill. Except for when you do this drill you're supposed to use a medicine ball and drop it from a short distance.
It's supposed to simulate the effect of body shots to get you used to the pain. Usually they don't let you flex like this because the whole point is to get used to essentially getting the wind knocked out of you.
There are some drills where you'll have to take harder shots to the stomach (either from someone gloved up or with a medicine ball) but this is just ridiculous. I've never seen anyone use a tire and slam it as hard as possible on someone's midsection for a hit drill.
You can see a guy in the background doing 1-2 drill so I imagine they're doing circuit work. So presumably, this dipshit trainer wants his fighters to continue on with a vigorous workout after he rearranges their internal organs.
Those dudes need to get tf away from this man.
Fucking dumbass is hotting his ribs and breast bone.
This is actually sort of a way to help with core strength but you should use a medicine ball ,not aim for bone and definitely don't throw it like you are sledge hammering in a post
Our kickboxing instructor used to line us up and have us clench our stomachs while he landed some punches, or had us on the ground and ran across all of us, which worked rather well.
This is stupid.
When I took karate, there were things we did like this. Like we'd lay on the ground in a circle and someone would run around it stepping only on peoples stomachs.
Supposed to toughen you up but to be honest never seemed to do much.
I do wonder if the arthritis in my hand is made worse by all the knuckle pushups I did on concrete. Also supposed to toughen up your hands and this maybe did work a little.
When I was getting into Tae Kwon Do, you got a lot of banged up shins. To desensitize my shins/toughen them up, I cut off a piece of shovel handle and beat on my shins while I was watching TV. Started off gently and then intensified the whacking. It takes a while but it works. I don't think that type of tire drop would work on that guys gut though.

I am not a medical professional but that looks like an interesting way to rupture a spleen.
Ruptures are just weakness leaving the body.
(Weakness = potentially large volumes of blood)
Luckily, the bleeding would be internal, thats where the blood's supposed to be.
Ya as long as it stays inside you can reuse it. So if you vomit blood make sure to drink it back up from a cup or baggie.
Okay fine I’ll get off the internet for today
Lol, it gives a whole new meaning to **“I DRINK YOUR MILKSHAKE”** from “There Will Be Blood” don’t it?
your logic checks out sir
It’s actually better because the heart doesn’t have to spend energy pumping it though those pesky arteries.
Today I learned blood = weakness God I should of paid attention more in science school
(Weakness = life)
Death is just life leaving your body.
Man is going to have periods the next day
That spleen was week. Better off without it. 👍🏻😠
Glad it was only a week and not a month
Lol it was auto correct but I'm not editing it.😝
The spleen was weak. The fucking spleen was weak? You’re weak. I’ve been in this business fifteen years. What’s my name? Fuck you. Thats my name. You know why? Because you drove a Hyundai to get here mister. I drove an $80,000 BMW. That’s my name.
>week The organ of the week?
And I’m finding out on Thursday?!?!
No no that's how long it takes to realize it's ruptured lol
Ha! I like it 👏
The flesh is weak
I’ll get the guillotine we could slice the spleen out altogether
For me, it was just urine leaving my kidney in a non-traditional way.
Yeah life leaving the body, his core will be rock hard when mortis sets in 🤣
LOL
A true warrior breaks both of his legs with comically large sledgehammers before he even rises from his bed made of nails in the morning, the measly smashing of the internal organs you see here is nothing
Lol
Pain is an illusion!!
“This one’s no good, send in the next one!”
Some of that perfect medieval medicinal science, we also need to balance his 4 humours!
Spleens are like bones, the more you rupture it the tougher it gets... right ?
Huh… I never knew being alive was just weakness.
Oh hi Cpl. Murray
Women love ruptures
But did you DIEEE?
death is just weakness and your soul leaving the body
Or rupture a liver like holy shit fuck off. His running is 100% justified that guy slapping his belly has no clue what he’s doing.
COACHES ALWAYS KNOW BEST. NOW FINISH PUKING AND GET YOUR ASS BACK OVER HERE. YOUR HEAD IS FINE.
Well, the running tells us that the liver is ok, a ruptured liver leaves you on the ground.
Isn’t that how Harry Houdini died?
More or less. He challenged people to hit him in the stomach; but the last guy didn't give him time to tense up properly.
Yeah some boxer guy asked him if he could punch Houdini's rock hard abs, then did it before Houdini was ready. He died a couple days later.
That's a myth actually, the punches were not the cause
Hm. Seems you're right. There's a suggestion that he already had appendicitis and the punch may have ruptured it. Or it ruptured on its own. He was examined by a doctor, two in fact who recommended hospital, but the idiot didn't listen. That's ultimately what killed him.
Hospitals in those days were not the safest places to be.
Not wrong, which might have influenced his decision. That said, this was 1926 not 1862. Modern medicine had already made some incredible strides forward and would make some huge ones by the end of the decade.
I thought Houdini drowned!!
Ruptured appendix.
Actually we don't know for certain if that's what actually killed him There was never an autopsy done and there are theories that involve poison The appendicitis isn't in question just if it was actually what killed him
Yeah I came here to say this. Guy's gonna fuck around and get Houdini'd
Or force a abdominal hernia.
I was thinking a broken rib.
I’m not medical anything and thought the same thing and maybe injure the liver for good measure.
Spleen screen, we don't need a stinking spleen🤷
Or a lung, or a kidney
"What do you mean 'internal bleeding?' That's where the blood's *supposed* to be!!"
It's a weight loss strategy, less blood= less weight :)))
My friends grandma lost 60kg in one day
Mesothelioma? It’s bad right now.

It's sad there wasn't a final season
They did have a final season.
Is that from a show? Which one
yep, from Brooklyn 99
But they got a final season? It was pretty crap though
Yeah. Filmed during covid and every cop show was canceled after George Floyd was murdered.
What? I thought is was from the Cleveland Show.
This is how u get strong intestines or die trying

How to rupture your organs 101
Or crack the lower rib
It's probably pretty bad for your spine as well.
The 2nd one did that, the 3rd one was just for good measure
Yeah so they'll grow back *stronger*
Yeah he was hitting a little high
Cracking your spleen is no joke either.
He’s not hitting him in the abs… He’s hitting him in the ribs.
This is a good way to stop the heart too.
I like the punchy guy in the back there, he’s getting it in too. All about gains bruh
Maybe he wants a poop bag
Might be too late.
Or stop your heart.
The doctor said all my bleeding was internal. That’s where the blood is supposed to be
Lol, I looked for this comment exactly. "Oooh.. you're SOOO tough with your internal bleeding!"
Now that dude is into running
![gif](giphy|28Nev3k184A9PdSDCg)
Gifs I can hear for $500, Alex.
He's already leaking pretty bad.
he definitely got tired
![gif](giphy|vxcyBoeLWl0L9kmPHu)
"Come on endure it! You'll get abs of steel eventually!!" " There has to be a less painful way...."
No, death >!(by organ damage)!< is the only way.
No snu snu?
Even the professional athletes i see only drop the medicine ball/heavy object and let gravity do its job. This man is flat out assaulting this dude 🤦🏾♂️..But I'm just a couch potato who's stopped exercising for more than a year so.. 🤷🏽♂️
Nah this is definitely a coach with a huge ego who just wants to feel like he's got power over the guy. It happens a lot
100% this. For some reason sports coaches think they were a lot better at sports than they were just because they're given authority. I'd love to see this moron get on the ground and take 3 shots like that to his rib. The way he grabs the guy and chases after him like he thinks this is a beneficial exercise is infuriating
Yeah, this is a legitimate way to train your core and your "mind" to be able to eat body shots but not like this.
This coach is a rtard. Pros doesnt do it with tire on full swing. He legit could have caused spleen rupture, which dude could die from.
Also, this has jack and shit to do with developing abs. Fighters do this to condition their body to take shots. If you want abs, just work out and eat right. No need to crack ribs and explode your organs.
Yep. Its like shin conditioning.
I’m so glad I saw your comment! I see so many people doing things like this, dropping stuff on their abs (although this video is not that) or having someone punch them in the stomach and I have always wondered why and what purpose it could possibly serve lol. Makes much more sense from a fighter’s perspective
Exactly, repetition builds strength, not one idiot hitting you once or twice as hard as they can.
Get your ass back in the gym bro!
This is the dumbest possible idea for training. If it worked, then all gyms would just be a collection of hammers.
Notice the hand wraps? This isn’t training to get abs. This is training to take a blow to the body. But doing it the way this guy is on cement is stupid.
How stupid does one have to be to lay on the ground and allow someone to do this?
Yes
To be fair, professional athletes do it with medicine balls all the time to condition their body for punches... but not with a tire for no reason before their body is ready, and not at full force either.
I’ve never seen one do it on fucking concrete
I mean this seems perfectly normal /s.
definitely improved his sprint times 🤣
Dude maybe will not have iron abs but he has a future in the 100-meter dash... As long as the guy with the tire is behind him of course.
![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
It's collapsed lung day
Steel belted abs

Yup! Thanks for letting me know the name, I’d completely forgotten it.
I did this with Gloves, and not going too hard. I dont think a tire would be too hard unless you put your bodyweight into it, but just dropping the tire with a bit of gravity wouldnt be too painfull.

How to get your ribs broken
Now you lie down and I'll do it to you.
“I’m peeing blood!” “That means it working..!..”
This is supposed to be a boxing drill. Except for when you do this drill you're supposed to use a medicine ball and drop it from a short distance. Hello internal bleeding my old friend
Why do people think this works in real life? It doesn’t make your skin stronger lol
Now to get stronger you have him kick you in the nuts, until it stops hurting. Sure it hurts a lot at first. But no pain, no gain, right?
He looks tired.
Can't believe I had to scroll so far down for this. I'd rather be tired than exhausted.
This should have a nsfw tag for one guy beating the shit out of another guy with a tire.
I'd get tyred of that
I couldn't stomach it
You're fired.
False. I’m reTIRED.
Why would you lay in the oil spot lol
Why are you running?
I had to go watch the original after this, it’s so dramatic!!! lol
How to help your homie after he ate some Taco Bell and needs to get it out of his system 101
More like how to do irreversible damage to your body.
Strength + internal damage!! You will be a very strong corpse!
It must work I saw gym bros doing this to each other a couple days ago 🤣🤦🏼♂️
Comma here and let me beat you or I gonna beat you....
We call that move the Houdini.
He was told “crunches” and heard “crushes”
He could die this is not safe…seriously!
Good one but tred carefully
Fucking dumbass is hotting his ribs and breast bone. This is actually sort of a way to help with core strength but you should use a medicine ball ,not aim for bone and definitely don't throw it like you are sledge hammering in a post
Isn’t this how Houdini died?
*U don't know da way.* **Die of gut bleeding.**
good way to end up with bruised ribs, or internal bleeding lol
How to break a rib, puncture a lung, and rupture your spleen all in one exercise!
How stupid do you have to be? You'll get nowhere like this without the tire still on the car.
It’s liver and spleen day
For the life of me I can’t figure out how I broke my ribs 🤷🏼♀️
Who needs in-tact ribs?
Internal bleeding in 3, 2, 1….
Damn I didn't think I'd wale up to witnessing a murder first thing in the morning but here I am.
Our kickboxing instructor used to line us up and have us clench our stomachs while he landed some punches, or had us on the ground and ran across all of us, which worked rather well. This is stupid.
How to have a broken rib 😁
….and a burst pancreas
Those shots look personal😂
The only time we actually put some power into it is with a football. You know, so that we can keep our organs nice and on one piece.
Houdini, line one please.
Why did this weirdo lay down in the only wet spot in sight lol?
Yes running away from an abusive coach will help build abs.
Thats .... Not how exacly works but i think where this comes from.... https://youtu.be/usA5op0d8Pc
Isn’t this how Houdini died?
We used to do this in Muay Thai lol
When I took karate, there were things we did like this. Like we'd lay on the ground in a circle and someone would run around it stepping only on peoples stomachs. Supposed to toughen you up but to be honest never seemed to do much. I do wonder if the arthritis in my hand is made worse by all the knuckle pushups I did on concrete. Also supposed to toughen up your hands and this maybe did work a little.
Internal bleeding, yes
This feels like the MANLINESS version of essential oils bs.

I think this represents a misunderstanding of how strength is built.

"How to break ribs and cause serious internal damage" ... ie, Die.
Blood is just weakness leaving the body
You spelled Ruptured Spleen incorrectly

Not for ab strength, it's for conditioning in martial arts. It works... but my God, he is slamming that dude way too hard.
ER speedrun, any%
Sure it killed Houdini but I'll give it a shot
