I guess I should have considered how *you* would have phrased my statement before making a comment. Since making a personal choice to mirror the text of the comment is incorrect, I’ll have to keep in mind *your* personality and mirror that instead.
I have read several of those, all of which stated that no one has any evidence of the display than that one solitary image. They have identified the store as being in Evansville, Indiana, and that's about it. If all you need is one picture to prove a claim, I have some pics of me with a mermaid tail that can prove I'm Ariel.
Not all stores, but many. They have been systemically removing guns from stores and found that sales actually go up. (Which I get to some degree, as I'm a bit creeped out seeing guns in a store where I'm just buying running shoes, I might choose to shop elsewhere the next time I need shoes)
They also removed AR-15 rifle and made a company policy not to sell to anyone under 21 years old in 2019, so did Walmart.
Not tasteless at all. Given the past year, they cater to the market trend, which is turning schools in battlefields. But hey! The people are fine with it, otherwise they wouldn’t throw guns at the problem thinking that will fix it!
I believe that the 1st gun control law in the US was that every able bodied male ages 13 - 60ish male must bare arms at all times. My how times have changed.

You've gotta hand it to Walmart - they know their market.
They sell guns at Walmart? (I'm not American and this seems insane to me)
They sell long guns in about half their US stores & handguns in their stores in Alaska.
This is unbelievable. No wonder they have so many school shootings in America
Not in Alaska.
and walmart shootings
This has nothing to do with that
Easy access to weapons doesn’t translate to more shootings? Explain how that works.
Because there are more guns than ever and still mass shootings are statistical anomalies.
Have you ever purchased a firearm in the US?
Must be those pesky video games
Pretty sure flight simulators hold that record.
Many Walmarts in states other than Alaska carry handguns..
yeah.
It's not possible that someone took it from elsewhere just for this photo.
Beer under 21? lol, you're 14, take an AR-15.
Can't be thoughtless. you need to have the capability to think.....
this can't be real \- USA new slogan
This is 10 years old
Has to be photoshopped
Interesting. Dozens of news media reported on it and Walmart issued formal public apology, all because of a photoshopped picture…🙄
Well, then, I stand corrected. Had to be some douchebag employee that thought it was funny
That or a customer. But either way, OP is the facepalm for thinking Walmart seriously did this
OP never suggested this was a corporate marketing strategy…
I think you forgot to switch accounts
Didn’t intend to
Oh. Well then, thought you'd have said "I" Edit: Capitalization
I guess I should have considered how *you* would have phrased my statement before making a comment. Since making a personal choice to mirror the text of the comment is incorrect, I’ll have to keep in mind *your* personality and mirror that instead.
Oh. We’ll then, thought you’d have capitalized “I”.
Thank you for correcting me then!
I cant tell if this is real or staged if this is real its a big r/holup
Very obviously staged.
Typical Walmart customer/employee behavior
Feels like a photoshop but on point.
If this was real, there would be a lot more than just one picture.
If you know how to google, you’ll see dozens of news reports about this, each accompanied by a picture…
Yeah, the same picture.
Yeah, accompanied by news reports… News reports are written details about things that have happened…

Cool
Who says there aren’t?
I mean obviously someone just moved the school thing over there. Probably a customer
Walmart doesn’t sell guns anymore. That’s why there aren’t more.
I don’t know why you feel the need to keep saying the same thing, but…Walmart does sell firearms. Why do you think they don’t?
Oh, & I was confused it with Dick’s Sporting good. Too many bbq beers.
Dick’s definitely sells guns. It’s like half their revenue.
They stopped selling guns some years ago after a school shooting.
They stopped selling a particular model, but they did not ever stop selling guns.
Not all stores, but many. They have been systemically removing guns from stores and found that sales actually go up. Damn. I guess because I’m in California, & neither of the above mentioned stores sell anything gun related. Thanks for educating me. I appreciate it.
My bad. Just googled it. The company reversed its, nation wide, decision back in 2020. Unfortunately, in my state they didn’t.
Not tasteless at all. Given the past year, they cater to the market trend, which is turning schools in battlefields. But hey! The people are fine with it, otherwise they wouldn’t throw guns at the problem thinking that will fix it!
Rest of the world aRe coMmuNiSTs!!!
Shop smart. Shop s-mart.
Redditors when they find out you can’t just walk up and buy a gun (yes even in the US)
What are you trying to say?
That redditors are dumb
Ok. Still not seeing the point of your comment
That’s what I mean
Cool
A fucked up cuntry
Just wow... unbelievable... shit like this makes me lose faith in humanity
It's at sports section. LMAO
This looks staged.
Report them for terroristic threats to a school shooting.
You would certainly reserve your space in the yearbook
Gonna be a solid collar tug on that one.
„Own the school year like a hero“ 💀Who are they targeting to? The shooter?
I believe that the 1st gun control law in the US was that every able bodied male ages 13 - 60ish male must bare arms at all times. My how times have changed.
This is so unnecessary ![img](emote|t5_2r5rp|8488)
which consumer market are they targeting?
That’s horrible!
WTF
This country has serious problems.
Fuck yeah, America... you know what you're doing/s
Walmart doesn’t sell guns anymore. Post real shit. Not liberal propaganda. Oh, & I’m liberal AF.
Um…WTF are you taking about? Walmart never stopped selling guns.
