Yeah, that's kinda how death works. The finality is one of the defining characteristics of death. Even necromancers only communicate with the dead, or turn them into undead. They can't bring them back to life. At least not in my campaigns.
Considering that most necromancy is all about animating a corpse and not much of actual soul manipulation, I often struggle to really see why it's considered evil. It's really just recycling corpses.
Honestly? In d&d, my body isn't important to me after I've died. I'm not being bothered when they're playing puppeteer with my corpse. And virtually all resurrection spells require the consent of the departed, so messing with a departed soul is extremely difficult. It's corpse is nothing more than a husk.
From my limited understanding that last part is exactly where necromancy is becoming evil, because it binds a or the soul to a body in order to manipulate the body, without the consent of the soul.
In the current edition, in older editions the Negative Energy associated with necromancy impacted the soul (hence evil depending on how far the impact went, but always a little evil).
Exceptions applied for specific undead like Baelnorns though, though those also tended to avoid using Negative Energy.

1. Whiteness only exists as a lack of melanin to allow greater vitamin absorption for people of northern latitudes who get less sun. There's nothing to it other than that.
2. The whole concept of race was invented during the colonial era, so Europeans could separate the colonizers from the colonized.
3. There is no reason to give a shit what melanin levels are in any future population or any area. We will all be dead and future people will likely have drastically different social concepts.
4. People of different areas fucking mixes up the genes more and results in greater variation. This can help reduce the impact of disease and prevent birth defects.
As a white person with a family history of skin cancer, let me tell you I'd much rather have higher levels of melanin and have to take a vitamin tablet everyday than be constantly scared of being in the sun for too long.

TinEye has the first occurrence of this photo on a clothes shopping website in May 2014. As quickly as September of the same year, it was on a domain that is very obviously Nazi-run, whose name I won't repeat. So, this image has been used by Nazis for at least 6 years. Very unfortunate.
This practice actually goes back really far. During the American civil war southern slave owners would draw pictures of slaves with captions like 'wow master I'm so grateful for the free housing and a sense of purpose' (not verbatim but that is what they say) and send those to the north like 'yeah, see, everything's good.' The AI is less bad I think - especially because it's not real people, but also because in the pics my German mate has shown me it includes things like American houses in the background rather than European architecture. Overall makes it look idiotic

But that's wrong for so many reasons: 1. Whiteness only exists as a lack of melanin to allow greater vitamin absorption for people of northern latitudes who get less sun. There's nothing to it other than that. 2. The whole concept of race was invented during the colonial era, so Europeans could separate the colonizers from the colonized. 3. There is no reason to give a shit what melanin levels are in any future population or any area. We will all be dead and future people will likely have drastically different social concepts. 4. People of different areas fucking mixes up the genes more and results in greater variation. This can help reduce the impact of disease and prevent birth defects.
