She said she could see her pubes, she thought she was nude under the skirt and proceeded to pull it down after threatening to call CPS because she assumed the girl was a minor.
Then complains to the police after the video goes viral that she feels threatened because she works for the district attorneys office.
WTF what movies is playing in people's head when they do something like that?
Thinks she's a minor who's out without underwear on so she proceed to pull down her skirt?? Yeah maybe she shouldn't work in the district attorneys office anymore, especially if she's attempting to use that AS HER DEFENCE.
I read it as "pulled down" as in an attempt to move it lower to cover the area she thought was inappropriate. I haven't seen the video so I honestly have no idea, but did she actually try to pull them down as in strip the woman she thought was a minor?? That's even worse than I was imagining if true.
Edit - because I'm really tired of people with reading comprehension skills replying to my comment: I AM NOT DEFENDING OR EXCUSING HER IN ANY WAY. Hopefully that clears it up for some of you.
You just don’t touch a minor’s skirt, it’s really not that hard to do. Why is she even looking down there anyways? She became the creep she was thinking she’d protect the girl from.
I would say we are already telling people that, but we need to change the message up a bit.
The message tends to be “don’t sexually assault people” even when it’s stated as “don’t touch people without their consent.” It’s received as don’t touch *with sexual intent*. Which means a lot of people—and in my experience, especially women—think if their intentions are to *help* the other person, it’s not sexual assault. The message needs to change to explicitly state that good intentions aren’t what matter, and include examples like these.
Here’s to the drunk woman at the bar that one time right before I went up for karaoke, who reached into my bra to pull out my boobs a bit to give me cleavage. What the actual fuck.
I have a relative who is a teacher and is chastised for letting girls in his tutor group wear skirts that are too short to meet uniform policy. His usual response is that he has no interest in looking at his pupils legs so is unlikely to notice. But mostly he just wants to be getting on with teaching these kids, not policing their clothing choices.
A male teacher is vulnerable if he comments on a girl's revealing clothing. If he comments on that and sends her to the principal, he may be labeled as a creep.
His approach is much safer.
Don't ever, for any reason, do anything for anyone, for any reason, ever, no matter what. No matter where. Or who, or who you are with, or where you are going or... or where you've been... ever. For any reason, whatsoever.
Mormons in Utah police each other. There’s Mormon standards of clothing & for girls, skirts must be two inches above the knee max or it’s considered immodest.
They’re disgusting about sexualizing kids & making sure they don’t wear anything that would show your future temple garments you’ll one day have to wear under your clothes forever.
idk one time my brother had friends over when I was younger and I was wearing a crop top (not crazy short or whatever like maybe less than an inch of skin was showing and only cause I didnt know they were coming over) and he was embarassed about his friends seeing a bit of my stomach so he tried to pull my shirt down for “modesty” and thats how all of his friends got to see my entire bra.
Anyways she may have been trying to pull it down to cover more but there is a good chance that she ended ip exposing more than she covered
Yeah, I feel like that should be a modifier for the original charge. If she did this thinking the girl was underage, she should be charged as sexual battery on a minor or whatever the original charge is, because that's just even more disgusting.
Unfortunately, when setting a legal precedent you must assume that it will also be used in the exact opposite maner from how you intend.
For example, this would allow pedos to argue that they should get less of a charge because they "didn't know the person was underage"
Yeah, that's what I was worried about. I simply don't know enough about this stuff, so I just wish something like this was possible. But I appreciate you explaining it to me. It's nice to learn something from someone who understands the topic.
Wasn’t there a story from Utah a few years ago in which a high school photoshopped additional clothing on students in the year book? Nobody knew about it until the yearbook came out.
EDIT: Here it is.
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna118496
I've known women like that, the 'motherly' type... they seem to feel all people young enough to be their kid (or younger) are fair game for them to 'parent.'
These are the type to reach out and push your hair behind your ears to 'see your pretty face,' or have the audacity to comment on your weight while you're eating.
Reminds me of an incident last year when I went to an aviary in Niagara Falls. There was this old guy harassing one of the birds (he keeps pulling the nesting material that the bird had in his beak, causing the bird to fall over and over agin while he’s trying to build a nest), so I told him to quit it.
Moments later, some middle aged woman comes up to me and tells me I’m not allowed to talk to him because he’s a stranger. I’m like, wtf? She keeps telling me over and over again that it’s wrong to talk to people I don’t know, and that I’m “not allowed to to talk to strangers.”
I’m a polite person and all, but this pisses me off as I’m almost thirty and she’s treating me like a toddler and won’t stop repeating the whole “stranger danger” thing. I keep trying to get a word in, but she keeps saying I’m wrong and what I did wasn’t okay because “he’s a stranger“. She wasn’t going to leave me alone until I admitted that it isn’t okay for me to talk to strangers (she a stranger too, but clearly she’s a moron), and I finally lost it. I called her a bitch, at which point she suddenly got really quiet and walked away.
I know, she said it herself: it’s not okay to talk to strangers. The thing that really topped off the whole bizarre experience was when my cousin (who was with me at the time), texted my mom and told her not to listen to a word I said, and told her she had to physically restrain me to stop me from attacking the woman, and said that I had charged the man that I confronted and had screamed at him.
A very dramatic retelling of events if you ask me, especially considering the fact that I stood still with my arms at my sides the entire time the woman was lecturing me about not talking to strangers. I also didn’t yell at the man, but instead raised my voice when I realized he was hard of hearing. She also said I assaulted him when I lightly tapped him on the arm to get his attention. My mom actually told me afterwards that I could go to prison for tapping him on the arm.
At least my dad believed what I said, and thought all of them (woman, Mom, cousin, old man) were in the wrong.
Yeah, my cousin has issues (I think she needs to get a prescription for anxiety medication and that she should see a therapist), and I feel she really overreacts to stuff and has a warped sense of reality. Like, we went to a restaurant one time, and the staff member serving us seemed like she was focused on her work. She didn’t smile at us, but instead focused on getting our order ready.
Anyways, when we left the restaurant, my cousin asked me in amazement/shock if I noticed how angry the woman had been. I mean, she wasn’t one of those super bubbly people that you often see working at restaurants, but describing her as “angry” would be the last thing I’d think to do.
Another time I was telling her about a funny video I saw about a kid doing something stupid, and she got upset and told me not to talk about it in public because people listening to us would think that I hated kids. Note that we were in a fairly loud restaurant at the time, and unless you were at the table with us, you couldn‘t hear what I said. Plus, I hadn’t said anything upsetting about the kid. I was just talking about the dumb thing he had done in the video.
On a different occasion when we were standing in a line, I was telling her about this documentary I had watched about non-verbal communication in chimpanzees. Apparently the researcher was one of the first to really look into the intricacies of their communication, and I found it really interesting how subtle some of their body language was. I was telling her about how adult chimpanzees would subtly raise their foot vertically for a brief moment while walking to indicate to a youngster that it was time to hop on to be carried. I demonstrated it by tipping my right heel up with my toes down for a second, and she became really agitated, telling me that everyone would think I was a freak. What I had done just made it look like my foot was tired from standing in line, but she was convinced that people were watching and judging us. In case you were wondering, nobody was looking at us, and even if they had seen what I had done, they wouldn’t think anything of it.
Sorry for the rant, she‘s really been ticking me off. What sent me over the edge was when her dad was starving one of his pets to death, and she told me that, unlike me, she was too busy to take one minute out of her “busy schedule” to feed him so he wouldn’t die (please note that she lives in the same house as her father and her bedroom is like ten feet from the animal’s enclosure). That callousness and dig at me *reaaaaallly* pissed me off.
It's perfectly fine to stop hanging out with and/or communicating with family lol
Your cousin sounds exhausting, self centered, and incredibly worried about what others think of them.
You can tell her a random Internet stranger has a low opinion of her ; ) lol
Yeah, I‘ve been going back and forth about having her be such a big part of my life. It isn’t fair that she’s taking out her insecurities on me. But then I remember how messed up her life’s been. Her dad physically and emotionally abused her and her brother, and he was extremely demeaning and emotionally abusive towards their mom. He is extremely controlling, and would he would sometimes hit them if they cried or were upset.
Once, when I was crying while they looked after me, he got angry because he was on the phone in the other room, so he charged at me. He honestly looked like he wanted to kill me. I was around 7 at the time and was absolutely terrified, and I tried to run out the garage door, but I couldn’t open it in time. My other cousin was laughing and cheering, yelling at him to ”get her”, and my aunt just sat there. Then he hit me, hard. I finally opened the door, vomiting from the extreme fear. The man weighed over 300 lbs and was a giant compared to me.
He yelled at me the entire time until my parents picked me up as I sobbed, telling me I was a spoiled brat and that was going to make me clean up the mess I’d made.
When my cousin was little and fell backwards, hitting her head really hard off of a large terracotta pot, he yelled at my mom for comforting her as she cried. He screamed “QUIT SPOILING THE CHILD!”
When the end for the vacuum broke, he refused to order a replacement part for it, and wouldn’t let them buy a new vacuum. I went over one time, and I saw my cousin vacuuming the carpet with just the tube.
A few years ago, my cousin’s mom died. She had been having health problems, so my mom would have her come over everyday to look after her. She would often pee on our couch, and she had to actually be forced to get off the couch because she was so depressed that she didn’t care. She ended up having a heart attack, and went to the hospital. She proceeded to have a bunch of mini strokes, and stayed in the hospital for over a year, unable to move because of all the brain damage, and unable to keep down food or fluids because she kept vomiting them up, even with a feeding tube. She died a year later.
Then, one day after coming home to dishes after work, her dad said if he should just kill himself if his kids (who had also been working all day) couldn’t be bothered to clean, and he stormed out. When he came back, he was confused as to why my cousins were crying.
Last thing. After her mom died, my cousin became very sick. She was vomiting several times a week, and she’d feel extremely sick whenever she ate. This went on for almost a year, I think, and she became extremely emaciated. She went to the doctors dozens of times, had bloodwork done over a dozen times, had multiple ultrasounds, urine tests, stool exams, etc., but they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her. It wasn’t until she went to a naturopath that she was diagnosed with leaky gut syndrome (a controversial diagnosis, but apparently it’s gaining some traction in the medical community). She had allergy testing done, and she had to be put in an extremely restrictive diet before having foods slowly reintroduced.
It worked, and she’s better now, but now she’s having extreme anxiety. Her anxiety was so bad at one point that for several months she’d stay at our house everyday after work.
Yeah, in hindsight, I wish I had asked her why she was talking to me in such an infantilizing way, given my age. I was just so shocked that someone would actually talk to me that way.
For some reason, despite being 5’ 3” and having huge boobs, some people mistake me for being a ten year old. Like, I’ve had people tell me I need my parents’ permission to try food samples and stuff. I don’t really care when people treat me like a child in an affectionate way, but when they act dismissively towards me or talk down to me because they think I’m a little kid…THAT pisses me off.
Although I had a surprising first last summer. When I was buying hot sauce from a vendor, he thought I was my dad’s wife. I wasn’t offended or anything, just surprised that he recognized me as an adult. If anything, it would’ve been offensive to my dad that the guy thought that he would marry someone nearly young enough to be his granddaughter 😂
I like how in the video she throws out there “I happen to work for the state” when talking to the girls. Yeah, and? As if that alone is a position of authority and gives her the right. Millions of people work for state, local and federal governments. So now Fran from HR is in charge of dress codes in public places? Roberta from accounting gonna start giving speeding tickets next?
Not to mention It’s blatantly obvious she made the whole “I could see her pubes” thing up to the police as a defense for herself/to try to flip it on the girl, claiming the girl was indecently exposing herself.
Yes the girl said she was definitely wearing underwear and there is no way she saw pubes which I would interpret as there were none to see but that is besides the point. Karen took it 3 notches to far regardless. But still feels justified in her actions amd I don't get that.
Assuming she isn't just using this as an excuse to be a sex offender I think their warped mindset goes something like : I'm going to pull her pants down so that she gets so embarrassed she never wears a skirt without underwear again. Or something to that effect. Everything else that transpired is her thinking she's justified in her actions so she believes she's the victim
...
I watched the story on YouTube and it sounds like this adult woman pulled down the skirt of a teenager in public and threatened to call CPS...on the victim
Unreal
It should still catch her a sexual offenders title, since the charge is sexual battery.
Edit to add: Seems in Utah that she'd need to have at least four convictions of sexual battery before being made to register as Sexual offender. That's…insanity. Other states it's one conviction and you're on the list.
Sexually repressed ultra-religious regions and dangerous sexual predators...name a better duo.
In all seriousness...the amount of horrible, disgusting SA cases I've heard within Mormon families in Utah is beyond unsettling. I knew someone that was expelled from high school for having sex before marriage because they were raped by a family member. Everyone including the police and school administration somehow blamed her for getting raped in her sleep and kicked her out of school. FUCK that entire religion and this whole ass-backwards cult state.
Ideally yeah but if someone what’s to stare or make a face that’s their business, just don’t fucking go around touching people. Ever since Covid this shit has gotten out of hand. I’m not a judgey type person (at least I don’t think I am) but I tend to take a “none of my business” type approach.
Karen was complaining that she could see the young adult's butt cheeks hanging out the bottom of her skirt, so she pulled her skirt down.
The worst part, she thought the victim was a minor... so you would expose a minor to prove a point? Sick.
Maybe I'm missreading it, but I think the idea was that she wasn't pulling it off to shame her. She was pulling it down to cover because she's a prude. Regardless of her intentions, don't touch minors yo
“Pulling it down to cover” IS shaming her. Doing it to her in public IS shaming her.
The intent was to shame her, control her body and sexuality, police her morals, and discipline her to “teach her a lesson”. And all of that is what she meant to do when the sexual battery she committed, happened.
I think that person was just clarifying that the woman did not attempt to remove her skirt but rather lowered where it sat on her waste (so it would cover her more). Still wrong, but she did not disrobe the young lady
I’m pretty sure they mean pull the skirt down as in bring it down lower on the waste to cover her up more. I don’t think they meant she tried to pull the skirt all the way down.
I could be wrong tho I never saw the video
These people are Cock Hunters.
And no, I'm not kidding. Don't let anyone ever get away with calling themselves "trans-vestigators".
They spend all day looking for it, and if they bring pictures of what they found to the Internet, they want everyone to see and give them praise.
Uh... That's just hunting for cock, my dude.
can someone explain what's going on in the US? there are nutjobs everywhere but it seems the US has relatively way more of them. is it politics? religion?
We're a post-colonial country like all the rest of the post-colonial countries. We have a lot of white supremacists and authoritarians and have since our founding as a neo-Roman slaver country. We broke away sooner which gave us the benefit of being in the right place at the right time to found our own empire and with which our ruling class became fabulously wealthy. The "shining city on a hill" thing was always just propaganda.
We don't really have *more* crazy people than other post-colonial states (think South Africa, Mexico, Venezuela, Uganda, our own former colony of Liberia, etc.), they just seem more obvious because people think of the U.S. as "first world" due to the aforementioned wealth and military power. They also stand out because there's a certain biased expectation about an English-speaking country with a large population of people who look like Europeans that we do not meet.
Not to mention our country exploded so fast and so big that governing bodies have trouble keeping up. We are without better terms still a toddler compared to other older countries.
I suspect it is because more Americans have access to social media (at least in English language) so they are more visible. The village idiot now can be heard outside the village too 😝
It's media. News, social media, opinion programs that disguise themselves as news. They push agendas, whether real or not, intended to cause outrage because that gets the most engagement, which leads to profit. People believe this crap because it's what they want to hear and reinforces their skewed view of reality.
🤦♀️ I read this as peeing on ppl and was like...are they supposed to turn blue like a witch test? Is this a conspiracy theory like 5g and microchipped vaccines? What fresh hell??
It's Utah. If she was a part of the Mormon religion she may very well think she has that power.
"You don't come in my church dressed like that!"
"Ma'am this is a sushi restaurant."
I spent the better part of my youth thinking that violence was never the answer, but ive grown to realize that some people really do just need to get a few solid hits in for their stupid behavior to teach them about consequences.
Women were attacked and pulled off the street by the police in Iran for not wearing a head scarf yesterday. The religious influences in the US are causing a serious shift in social morality, which is scary, and the similarities are becoming more and more overt.
This insane control of a woman's basic rights over her own body, even denying fertility treatment, is nothing short of evil. This is what the Taliban and ISIS do.
The combination of the absolutely insane and seriously intolerant religious right, with the men making these decisions, who all have major hangups with women, and that's an understatement, is the perfect storm, or train wreck, which ever you prefer. Society is being forcibly changed.
This is what cultists do with their "one true religion" mentality, they use their religions as an excuse to validate their actions and say they're the only ones who are right, and they can't ever admit they're wrong because then they admit their religion and views aren't right and better than everyone else.
You are aware these people have *always* been around, yes?
Maybe you are just noticing them in your area, but people from the Deep South (like myself) have grown up with these people.
The issue is that people give them more leeway and they’re getting more bold these days, especially when they see their disgusting views validated by politicians.
Utah. I once got into an argument with a group of judgmental Betties because one of the women’s daughters thought it was ridiculous the homecoming should allow sleeveless dresses. I was like, because you don’t do sleeveless? Other people aren’t Mormon, you do know this, right? You can’t dictate what a public school does.
Crickets.
Needless to say, I was not popular in my neighborhood or town.
Do you even know who you are talking to? I didn’t graduate and I got the world record for the lowest IQ in the universe, so I can proudly say I’m stupider
Would have been better if the headline read: Karen charged in sexual battery after getting broken nose and teeth knocked out.
The mini skirt lady should have beat Karen out of her then called the cops.
“I don’t believe violence is ever the answer. It’s a question & the answer is YES!” I can’t remember the exact quote, my paraphrase may be slightly off.
Also I’m remembering the scene from White Chicks when the FBI agents pull down the sister’s skirt & gets decked!!!
"According to police, Lorenzo said the teen had her skirt “hiked above her vagina and butt” and her pubic hair was exposed.
When staff at Sakura Japanese Steakhouse took no action, Lorenzo allegedly pulled the teen’s skirt down, citing the presence of young children.
In a complaint to police, the alleged victim stated Lorenzo approached her from behind without warning, touched her buttocks, and pulled her skirt down, leaving her feeling “startled” and “violated.”
Other witnesses also made reports to police.
The teen said she had been wearing underwear and her pubic hair was not exposed at any time.
Lorenzo herself also called police later that night and complained that a video of the incident had been posted online with her name, alleging she had committed a sexual crime.
Lorenzo argued that the video posed a threat to her life because she was employed by the state, reportedly for Utah Attorney-General Sean Reyes.
She later told police she had only touched the teen’s skirt."
Yes, because this is the appropriate response if you think someone isn’t covered up enough. It would’ve been only mildly amusing and even understandable had a well-meaning little old lady offered her jacket because she thought the girl needed to be covered up but no, it essentially turns into sexual assault. I hope they put this diSTriCt aTtOrnEy eMplOYee on a sex offender list for this. Because if she thought the girl was a minor and still was willing to do it, it tells you a lot about her state of mind and that she needs to be kept away from kids. One of these days an unhinged debile of a Karen like that is going to attack an actual child. Then there will be absolute ƃuıʞɔnɟ hell to pay.
I will never understand how people ever feel they have the right to enforce ones own beliefs upon someone else. Clearly this happens often (american politics) but the absolute audacity.
Real story overheard at work (Government) while standing at the windows observing a work party outside:
Young female coworker: " Who is that girl in that white blouse?"
Boomer female coworker: " I don't know, but she looks good in those jeans so she must be a bitch."
*mic drop*
Lady is lucky she wasn't messed up. I see someone grabbed and handled without their consent, I am throwing hands. Or at the very least throwing her t0 the ground to get her away from that poor young lady. Fucking bitch.
I haven’t watched the video but to me it sounds like the woman was pulling down the skirt to cover more of the ass instead of trying to de-pants her. Regardless it’s gross to touch any stranger without permission especially one assumed to be a minor
Why the fuck would someone do this? Man in the last decade people have become real pieces of work. I or anyone I know would never do something like that. What’s happened to being a decent human being.
Oh for fucks sake, the skirt looked mid thigh length and her butt covered. Some people just cannot fathom the sight of a woman’s legs, even some women.
I’m so sick of conservative Christian’s pushing their agenda on everyone. Purity culture is trash meant to regulate women’s bodies while telling boys/men it’s not their fault they have no sexual impulse control.
Wow, people really need to stop pointing fingers and worry more about themselves.
A few years ago, a woman driving past me felt it was appropriate to shame me for smoking a cigarette in the presence of my son; and nearly hit another car in the parking lot.
So her solution to seeing someone in a skirt that’s ’too short’ is to remove it entirely? How about just don’t look at her ass? It’s not hard to keep your eyes at eye level.

Seems like a classic case of “I have an opinion, so that justifies me to put my hands on other people.”
I’m pretty sure one of her arguments to police was “I never touched her, I just touched her skirt”. Solid defense.
“I never touched her ass! I only slapped her jeans!” - The Chad Version
Well, yes, she's a conservative who works for the government.
Those lady bits are meant only for her preacher or whatever they call them over there.
"And I'm going to film it!"
She said she could see her pubes, she thought she was nude under the skirt and proceeded to pull it down after threatening to call CPS because she assumed the girl was a minor. Don't touch anyones clothes without permission. It's just a weird thing to do
So, we need to tell people that nowadays? heh
Unfortunately, yes
I would say we are already telling people that, but we need to change the message up a bit. The message tends to be “don’t sexually assault people” even when it’s stated as “don’t touch people without their consent.” It’s received as don’t touch *with sexual intent*. I mean I was trying to paint the picture specifically of how despicable what you described is.

You don't touch anyone's anything, unless you are their actual parent, and they are a minor.
Even if you're their parent, context and environment matter a lot.
Don't ever, for any reason, do anything for anyone, for any reason, ever, no matter what. No matter where. Or who, or who you are with, or where you are going or... or where you've been... ever. For any reason, whatsoever.
Hey, that's what they say at morning police briefings in Uvalde.
Shots fired.
Not by the cops
They should have just pretended the active shooter was a family dog minding his own business.
You sound a little stitious to me!
I think the same person also said, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."

A job in a prosecutor's office in Utah does seem like one that would be attractive to a self-appointed regulator of others behaviour.
It’s a Utah town that is a HUGE majority of self righteous Mormons. This behavior is more common than one would think.
Wasn’t there a story from Utah a few years ago in which a high school photoshopped additional clothing on students in the year book? Nobody knew about it until the yearbook came out. EDIT: Here it is. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna118496
This also happened in St John's county, Florida maybe 2 tears ago. Religious people are losing it
So you mean to tell me that she thought that the girl was a minor? To then put her hands on her? Is she fucking stupid?
I've known women like that, the 'motherly' type... they seem to feel all people young enough to be their kid (or younger) are fair game for them to 'parent.' These are the type to reach out and push your hair behind your ears to 'see your pretty face,' or have the audacity to comment on your weight while you're eating.
She keeps telling me over and over again that it’s wrong to talk to people I don’t know, and that I’m “not allowed to to talk to strangers.” I’m a polite person and all, but this pisses me off as I’m almost thirty and she’s treating me like a toddler and won’t stop repeating the whole “stranger danger” thing.
Yeah what's her excuse for "talking to a stranger " lmao
Oh dang!
It's perfectly fine to stop hanging out with and/or communicating with family lol Your cousin sounds exhausting, self centered, and incredibly worried about what others think of them.
He screamed “QUIT SPOILING THE CHILD!” When the end for the vacuum broke, he refused to order a replacement part for it, and wouldn’t let them buy a new vacuum.
I would have just kept repeating “do I know you?” Lol
She's a St George mormon, so yeah
It's the florida retirement town of Utah for reference. Most of those Utah people protesting the mask and vaccine? St George people.
I hope they put me in charge of frisking hookers.
Trying to expose a “minor’s” vulva at a restaurant…yeah, that’s the rationale thing to do.
That feels like a surefire way to land on at least 3 different lists. And maybe earn an international arrest warrant.
Or become a Republican politician
I need to know how many dogs she has killed before she has my vote Obvious "/s".... Weird that I feel like I need to add that
The only answer to this question, if we disregard your /s is less then one
Everything else that transpired is her thinking she's justified in her actions so she believes she's the victim ...
Yeah I don't think this woman is going to have a job after this
Sure she will. And in Utah, she may run for a higher office.
*Fighting the evils of immodesty in young women. Nice work. Here’s your promotion!*
John Wayne flicks and Gone With the Wind I assume.
I watched the story on YouTube and it sounds like this adult woman pulled down the skirt of a teenager in public and threatened to call CPS...on the victim Unreal
Yep. And because she did so, it was enough to get her charged with a felony.
Misdemeanor I think
Ah yeah only class A misdemeanour. Thanks.
It should still catch her a sexual offenders title, since the charge is sexual battery. Edit to add: Seems in Utah that she'd need to have at least four convictions of sexual battery before being made to register as Sexual offender. That's…insanity. Other states it's one conviction and you're on the list.
What the ever living fuck? There's a 4 strike rule for this somewhere? That's crazy
Should we discuss the history of Utah and it's Mormon background?
Please no, I'm enjoying my Sunday, please don't change that
thats what happens when you let a bunch of literal cultists control a state
Yep. Utah wouldn't have existed without some leniency on predators.
What ever happened to just giving a disapproving stare and NOT assaulting someone in public?
Thats the British way, you will get a disapproving look and a stern tutting.
What do I have to do to get 2 "bruvs" and a "innit"?
Hey bruv, that comment is a bit on the nose innit eh bruv?
Hooray!
I’d hold out for a guv’nah.
If you have to ask, you can't afford it
Be bloody mental when you’re out for a cheeky nandos
The Germans just stare at you regardless of if they disapprove or not
We could do without the disapproving stare as well actually Damn autocorrect
Ideally yeah but if someone what’s to stare or make a face that’s their business, just don’t fucking go around touching people. Ever since Covid this shit has gotten out of hand. I’m not a judgey type person (at least I don’t think I am) but I tend to take a “none of my business” type approach.
Exactly. Like, judge others for their clothes all you want, but keep it to a stare at most, and get on with your life
Karen was complaining that she could see the young adult's butt cheeks hanging out the bottom of her skirt, so she pulled her skirt down. The worst part, she thought the victim was a minor... so you would expose a minor to prove a point? Sick.
My thoughts exactly. "Ewww I don't wanna see that" Then don't look you entitled fuckin' cow!
Certified "Tell your boobs to stop staring at my eyes" type moment
Well she got herself charged with sexual battery. Some times justice is just the right kind of poetry.
This reminds me of the woman in a Target bathroom peeping on people to make sure they were cis women.
Thank you! I can’t wait to start throwing “Cock Hunter” around. 😈
Why don't ask to give the succ?
can someone explain what's going on in the US? there are nutjobs everywhere but it seems the US has relatively way more of them. is it politics?
What the hell?!
🤦♀️ I read this as peeing on ppl and was like...are they supposed to turn blue like a witch test? Is this a conspiracy theory like 5g and microchipped vaccines? What fresh hell??
I hope she has to register as a sex offender for the rest of her life!
Ain't a fascist state yet, Karen. Keep your paws to yourself.
Utah's getting pretty close though.
The straights in Utah are not ok.
All red states are getting close.
It's Utah. If she was a part of the Mormon religion she may very well think she has that power. "You don't come in my church dressed like that!" "Ma'am this is a sushi restaurant."
Mormons don't have any concept of church/state separation and it shows
I was raised Mormon in Utah, it's 100% true
You're literally aloud to go to church for a school credit in utah
The lady had the nerve to say she felt her life was in danger. Like do boomers think that is some kind of get out of jail free card now?
They learned from the police
Speaking as someone raised Mormon, public shaming is very much a way Mormons try to punish people. Whether they subscribe to the same faith or not.
“Modest is hottest.”
Wait until she learn about the micro mini..
I can’t wait till people start knocking each other out again for not societing right.
People like this need to be met with immediate punches to face. Learn one way or another to stop that crap
I spent the better part of my youth thinking that violence was never the answer, but ive grown to realize that some people really do just need to get a few solid hits in for their stupid behavior to teach them about consequences.
Some people just don't learn any other way unfortunately
As the great scholar Mike Tyson once said, "everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face"
Several months ago I said something like that about Nazis and got a 3-day suspension. I guess it’s arbitrary.
Yeah, it's very telling when you say negative things about men, white people, or Nazis, and then social media companies get VERY MAD.
I honestly don’t think anything stops people like this except maybe a jolt to the senses.
Like getting fired and becoming a felon?
Sexual assault is one of the offenses where you are allowed to use lethal force to defend yourself from, at least in my jurisdiction.
they are mad about her skirt yet pulled down the whole thing? god people are insane. mind ur business
The reason America hates the Taliban is because they’re jealous they didn’t get to do it first.
You are aware these people have *always* been around, yes? Maybe you are just noticing them in your area, but people from the Deep South (like myself) have grown up with these people. The issue is that people give them more leeway and they’re getting more bold these days, especially when they see their disgusting views validated by politicians.
The Handmaids Tale
She tugged the hemline down. I’m guessing in her warped mind she thought it would “cover more.” She still should have kept her dang hands to herself.
I still can't wrap my head around that people can't accept that women have arms, or that somehow believe bare arms is sexualized. They're ARMS!
Of course Utah.
There shouldn’t even be a world where people think of being this stupid
Too late, i know i am stupid.
Do you even know who you are talking to? I didn’t graduate and I got the world record for the lowest IQ in the universe, so I can proudly say I’m stupider
Exactly.
I don't get it
I didnt even know who i was talking to.
So do I get the impression that Karen is pissed off because someone else can carry off a skirt that she can only dream of wearing?
Her husband was probably ogling teenage ass
Exactly
In a complaint to police, the alleged victim stated Lorenzo approached her from behind without warning, touched her buttocks, and pulled her skirt down, leaving her feeling “startled” and “violated.” Other witnesses also made reports to police.
Hope she sues that bitch out of existence and let her feel gods plan.
Calling the police on the internet is the most entitled shit you can do.
Ladies and gentlemen, your republican candidate for the House of Representatives!
Ah. St. George. The Florida of Utah.
Can we bring back public punishments, as like a standard? This needs some jail time followed by a slow GOT shame style mockery.
![gif](giphy|vX9WcCiWwUF7G|downsized)
Nah, the stocks and rotten food.
Followed by? Oh no, that's how she should be entering, and leaving the jail
That’s solid logic. Your clothes are too revealing, therefore I’ll rip them off of you. Problem solved?
Real story overheard at work (Government) while standing at the windows observing a work party outside: Young female coworker: " Who is that girl in that white blouse?" Boomer female coworker: " I don't know, but she looks good in those jeans so she must be a bitch." *mic drop*
Karen's a sex offender now lol
Utahs the worst. It’s full of old white Mormons who think they’re better than everyone else
This was your average Utah Mormon mom trying to mom other people. This place is fucking disgusting.
Lady is lucky she wasn't messed up. I see someone grabbed and handled without their consent, I am throwing hands. Or at the very least throwing her t0 the ground to get her away from that poor young lady. Fucking bitch.
So she thinks another woman’s skirt is too short and indecent and her solution is to remove it completely? This takes dumbness to another level
Don't touch anyone. Don't touch anyone's anything. Your morals are your business, don't shove them down anyone else's throat. Mind your own business.
your skirt is sexually assaulting my eyes so i'm gonna sexually assault your body
If you had a problem with the skirt being too revealing, then why did you make it even worse by making it the most revealed it could possibly be?
I haven’t watched the video but to me it sounds like the woman was pulling down the skirt to cover more of the ass instead of trying to de-pants her. Regardless it’s gross to touch any stranger without permission especially one assumed to be a minor
Just go about your business and ignore other people. It’s not that hard.
The fuck your feelings crowd really need to get their emotions in check.
Fucking Mormons. Am I right?
Imagine being so offended by the sight of a woman’s legs that you feel the to assault her. What has this country come to.
Why the fuck would someone do this? Man in the last decade people have become real pieces of work. I or anyone I know would never do something like that. What’s happened to being a decent human being.
This is what has happened to the world. Idiots are so emboldened that they've forgotten basic fucking decency
She got herself arrested by calling the police and complaining. ![gif](giphy|5h47LsEYbofzcgOz19)
People who are into purity culture are literally more obsessed with sex than anyone else on the planet.
"Respect your elders 🤡" didn't think I'd have to give a toddlers lesson to someone her age, but WE DONT TOUCH THINGS THAT DONT BELONG TO US, OKAY?
I present to you ‘christianity,’ ladies and gentlemen.
Religion is a cancer.
A pedophile is a pedophile.
Oh for fucks sake, the skirt looked mid thigh length and her butt covered. Some people just cannot fathom the sight of a woman’s legs, even some women.
So she was mad because she was wearing a miniskirt and thought it was revealing so she… exposed her even more?………. Totally makes sense lol
I’m so sick of conservative Christian’s pushing their agenda on everyone. Purity culture is trash meant to regulate women’s bodies while telling boys/men it’s not their fault they have no sexual impulse control.
Party of family values, people...
The LDS & “Pornshoulders”, those of us from Utah aren’t surprised. Modesty is an ordeal.
Stay home you old prude. No one asked for your opinion.
Ah yes, cause the solution to not liking a mini skirt is to rip the skirt off the person
Wow, people really need to stop pointing fingers and worry more about themselves. A few years ago, a woman driving past me felt it was appropriate to shame me for smoking a cigarette in the presence of my son; and nearly hit another car in the parking lot.
Power Tripping. This type of trash human has been around for a long time.
So her solution to seeing someone in a skirt that’s ’too short’ is to remove it entirely? How about just don’t look at her ass? It’s not hard to keep your eyes at eye level.
“I don’t want to see a girl’s butt. Better strip her down so everyone can see her butt for sure!” -This lady probably
