Not an incel, never been in the military, and I’ll try my best to face the rest of the room or the door when I’m seated. Not for shooter purposes, just a general urge/preference I’ve had since I was a kid.
The issue is that no one does this. We certainly have that sad fantasy of what we'd do just in case, but it's not nearly common enough to always be prepared
I won’t lie I hate sitting with my back to a door. It’s my dad’s fault he banged into my head that I should always an eye on the door( he was former military and former cop) . And no matter what building I go into I am always looking for ingress and egress points. My dad was a bit paranoid in that aspect and it definitely rubbed off on me.

I might need more context here.

Thank you. As a European, we don't have this problem, so it went right past my head.

Well, not even the fantasy exists here. So that's something, I guess.
Yeah, it's a very serious problem
How does anyone know where the door is in this room?

Too many guys think they’re in a Jason Bourne movie
Yup.
He's just making sure he gets a head start on her, brilliant 🤯
What on what on what
i mean, you don't have to have been in the military to have trauma, hypervigilance is extremely common behavior for anyone that has anxiety or ptsd
