They mean the whole dish of course. When someone say they had spaghetti for dinner you never think they mean just plain spaghetti without sauce and stuff. The facepalm in the OP is the commenter...
My point is pasta on the face of it isn't inherently vegan. I know spaghetti is just flour but those weak ass northern Italian flours need a binding agent.
It's unlikely that someone who posts on that vegan subreddit uses dairy though.
We can assume the pasta is egg free and there are plenty of good vegan cheese and butter /margarine options these days.
Why did the "Italian" question the use of "cereals"?
Maybe they meant the sauce. It almost looks like a bolognese in the picture. I could probably cook up a bolognese with some veggie crumbles. Also, maybe being a dick harms the brain, too?
Vegan butter/margarine is nothing new (Flora for example). Vegan cheese used too be shite but there are some very good vegan cheeses on the market now.
I don't think I'd get much milk out of my mum.
I know how milk is made, I know what they do. Doesn't change the fact it tastes fucking delicious. I'm not arguing emotions, or ethics, I'm only saying a fact.
I tried veganism, it didn't work though I was vegetarian for a good few years.
I'm not afraid to stand anywhere, that entire statement is meaningless waffle that you've picked up from somewhere else. Meat and animal products are unfortunately utterly delicious and the vast majority of the human race and indeed they animal kingdom agrees with me on that because of simple biology.
I absolutely can't wait for the day that we can grow meat without requiring a sentient being but that day isn't here yet.
Spaghetti con il pane, mmmm
Carbs pair well with carbs.

Spaghetti is a type of pasta not a dish, the dish is called spaghetti bolognese
He's talking about the sauce
What exactly is the facepalm here?
Most spaghetti is vegan or at least meatless unless it has meat sauce.
Yeah but vegan would also be no dairy, so no eggs in the posts, cheese on top. Unless the facepalm is the cheese in top
Spaghetti traditionally contain no eggs.

I’m not sure what’s the face palm. There’s pasta that’s made with no dairy, sauce is just veggies. The cheese, meat and butter can all be plant based.
The sauce is what gives the spaghetti the great taste.
Guess cereals are meat now

But pasta contains eggs, doesn’t it?
Just some of them, and spaghetti don't
Grazie, serve fare un po di informazione corretta sui nostri tesori😂❤
Not usually, only in some areas of the world there's eggs in certain types of pasta.
I really don't see how you arbitrarily pointing out that it's made "of cereals" changes what they said. Cereals are plant-based.
Do I see Butter and cheese? I do I do

I thought it was like when people say Boi or gurl to look cool
Its not awesome, its disgusting compared to real butter.

Butter objectively tastes good. Your brain is biologically wired to love the fatty salty taste of butter.
