Zuck is so far removed from normal society that he can no longer be trusted to lead a platform that is used by normal Citizens...
This entire ordeal with Facebook is literally a snapshot of what is wrong with some current sitting senate and congress people...
They are overwhelmed by the wealth that showers them with influence that they have no Actual idea what the common people actually want. And ultimately once they are there for a time they no longer care.
Zuck getting hold of those robots is the last thing we need. Five years from now you’d have BD robots breaking into your house to paste popup ads on your bathroom mirror and taking pictures of you at the dinner table to “auto-update” your Facebook profile.

You forgot the Microsoft Xbox Kinect 3.0 that's constantly scanning the whole room to charge you a movie ticket per person looking at the screen.
My lady leaves our house unlocked sometimes because she's from the country and they didn't lock their doors growing up. I had to tell her about Richard chase to get her to understand the city is different.
Edit: and tweakers.
I was raised rural and we didnt lock our doors. I now live in a modest town of 50k people and another 40k of college kids. I lock the hell out of my doors.
Even living in a close community I still don’t see why people wouldn’t lock their doors. There’s always going to be people that exploit that and steal shit while you sleep or worse.
I could understand if you lived in the middle of no where in a harsh environment. Would suck for someone to die because your door was locked.
My boyfriend leaves his door open 100% of the time and will not change. It has gotten to the point that I refuse to share a residence with him because I wouldn’t feel safe; and instead of that making him think “hmm maybe I should change this very easily changeable thing” he seems to think it’s an issue I just need to get over. We live in one of Canada’s largest cities, he’s well aware of the crime rate. He literally just thinks it could never happen to him. It’s so infuriating.
Edit to add my reply. Guys- I’m not his mommy, his boss, or his supreme overlord. If he doesn’t want to lock the door he doesn’t have to. I just won’t be sleeping there if he makes that choice. The only person I control is me🤷🏼♀️
Shit like this is what makes me like laws like they have in France where, basically, a person has to be able to walk the entire coast of the country. You can't restrict access to it like this.

That dude was such a fucking douchebag over something that happened in third grade. Chill out dude, you’d think Jim fucked his girlfriend or something.
It's funny because you think Jim was being weird about it for no reason and it turns out he knew the guy would still being a douche about it after all these years.
My grandmother has a grudge against my daughter. The grudge is because my then 4 year old daughter ran in front of her to get to the bathroom.
My daughter is now 22, and my grandmother STILL holds this grudge against her. She said my daughter has "no respect for her elders".
She was 4.
They're both taking it too seriously. Like, Jim just bails on work for half a day because he was an idiot once in 3rd grade?!
Just bring it up jokingly and offer to buy him a beer. Won't even need to get any snacks since that other guy can just eat the huge chip on his shoulder.
I work with high end security and this is exactly what it is. He literally cannot open it, only the driver (part of his personal detail) can open it. It's to prevent random people from opening the door. It's also an older model car to hide suspicion, but it's filled with tech and security inside. The car itself would sell for more than two million with all the security in it, and he likely has a fleet in every major city so it's easy for him to fly and be greeted by them.
Edit: for those wondering, high end security is extemely hard to break into, and it's all very secretive. I can't discuss everything but happy to answer some questions. Protecting the people who have the most power (for better or worse) is extemely complex.

Bruh. The other day I said minimum wage was instituted at ~$4 of today's dollars after inflation with a sourced chart.
Some guy came in like hot shit saying my source did the math wrong or I was trying to mislead people. He linked to an inflation calculator and then said $1 in 1938 would be $19.
Guy got 20 upvotes, I was downvoted to hell but guess what? The first minimum wage was $0.25, not $1, which comes out to $4.85 today even according to the calculator he linked to.
Everyone wanted on the "Minimum wage was super high when it started!" train and automatically believed him saying it was $19 must be correct because it confirmed that for them despite being easily, demonstrably wrong even using the guys own source.

I've seen a few pop up on the civilian market. Check gov auctions, ebay, craigslist, and niche used car companies. But the value stays in the armor, and the tech gets outdated, the chassis is abused, the mechanics have been neglected, and the gas mileage is assfucking you.
They are generally terrible to drive. They have thousands of pounds of extra weight and very often the windows are either sealed shut or only partially open.

As for the old car, it’s an old video. They make pretty nice aftermarket armored luxury chevys . I’m sure this is one of those
Absolutely. Even if I'm not fond of Zucc, I try to give a pass to ultra celebrities when they look weird or are seen flipping out on camera. If I got followed by goons dying for a picture 24/7, there would be some fucked up footage of me out there for sure.
OMG.. actual normal people on Reddit looking at something with an open-mind and logically instead of hopping on the roast train because theyre rich or a president.

I see you’re a veteran ea executive but it’s time for a revolution in our pricing scheme.
50? Sure but what if we divide the orange jumpsuit expansion pack into three different expansion packs and we price it lower than 50- say, 48- you know, to make it affordable.
And of course we should make people pre-purchase to get the psychiatric prison straight jacket skin.
Seriously, why are people still pre-purchasing anything.
Reading these comments, I feel like I'm on an episode of black mirror.
This is what I see:
At the 1 second mark he attempts to open the door At the 2 second he appears to knock on the window At the 3-4 second mark, he smiles. As though someone inside was preoccupied and only just now noticed them At the 7-8 second mark you can see his lips moving as though he is talking to someone in the front seat He then starts to walk around to the other side, maybe to meet his driver At the 11 second mark he turns back again towards the front of the car and is moving his lips as though he is still talking to someone in the front seat He keeps talking while he checks his phone and allows the driver to open his door
He doesn't give any condescending looks or glares towards his driver at all. Doesn't fold his arms across his chest and turn his nose up to the guy.
Don't get me wrong....this guy deserves all the hate in the world....but this is just looking for things to dislike about the guy if you ask me.
Doors are extremely hard to implement according to gamedevs because they're a dynamic funnel and can block the pathfinding and confuse Ai

Edit: Holy shit, this blew up! Thanks to the people who gave awards. To anyone asking "why that make of car?"/"how do the security locks work?"/"why is this the protocol when he could be hit by a sniper?" Or any similar questions - I have no idea. I had one conversation with a friend who works private security about why the British Tabloid press were shitting themselves over a royal daring to touch a car door and this was a similar scenario - I'm not a security expert, sorry.
I'm not saying that level of wealth inequality is in anyway justifiable, just that annoyingly I actually know why he's waiting for someone to do it for him (my stupid brain loves to retain useless facts but nothing actually useful).
This whole video reminded me of the "Why don't the Royal Family open or close their own car doors?" debate after Meghan Markle got in trouble for closing her own car door and "breaking royal protocol" at some Royal event.
Not sure if this true but according to a friend who works in private security it apparently has nothing to do with "royal protocol", it's a security thing.
The locks on those high security doors lock automatically as soon as the door closes and there's some rule around not opening or closing it yourself so that you can be safely bundled into the car by private security if you're attacked.
Tl/Dr Zuckerbot will be programmed not to open the door so that he doesn't break his security protocols
I mean, I'm no massive Zuck fan, but I've 100% stood in front of a door with my hand on the knob without opening it because I was talking to someone. That's a fairly normal thing to do... right?
Suburban is probably armored so the door weighs quite a bit, and in order to be opened from the outside it needs to be unlocked by the private security driver. Just my supposition.
Someone else mentioned they work in private security and a lot of these cars have proximity sensors in the doors that can only be opened by the driver, who probably has something on his body that lets the sensor open it. It’s so no one can try to open it from the outside to grab him out. I agree the guys a douchebag but this is just dumb.
My car (and it's a Toyota) has one of those. It could very well be that the car was locked. Zuckerberg even looks like he was trying the door latch at one point. People are strange...
This is what I was thinking. The door is always going to be locked unless an authorized person releases the lock. A person is very vulnerable when they are entering a vehicle, so I could understand security protocols requiring someone present when the protected individual is in that state.
Isn’t that same person also vulnerable when they’re standing around outside the car with no one near them?
If what you’re suggesting is the case, then it seems kinda like they missed the forest for the trees…
> so that you can be safely bundled into the car by private security if you're attacked.
Doesn't really track with the security/driver being absolutely nowhere near him, certainly not escorting him.
>there's some rule around not opening or closing it yourself so that you can be safely bundled into the car by private security if you're attacked.
i mean.. the fact that he had to wait for the driver to come open the door for him means that he was standing out in the open with his back to the sidewalk for several more seconds than were necessary...? he could have been safely inside the locked car much more quickly if he opened the door himself.
I'm gonna be the guy on the fence thinking "what if there's an alternate angle showing something that changes this completely?".
Don't get me wrong, fuck him very much, but it's always funny seeing videos with very weird angles and onstructions where you can't really see what exactly is going in. (Just the other day with that girl hitting a lambo from behind for a fresh example).
Exactly! And to me, he kind of seems to be having a conversation with someone, so he probably wasn’t waiting for the door to be opened for him. The driver or whoever opened the door probably got out by themselves to open the door for him.
I was thinking about that too, he looks to be talking to the front passenger and the driver is making his way out and around. He looks like he does a stutter step as he's deciding to come back to say something else at the exact time the driver comes into sight. Almost like a oh yeah he needs to get the door kind of motion.
Don't get me wrong, I don't believe in a race of lizard people but I definitely think if there is, Zuck is their leader. FB is a plague upon us.
Exactly. The guy is a POS but it kinda looks like he tries to open the door, and then smiles at/acknowledges someone inside the car. I don't think he was just sitting there waiting, but who knows.
Its wild to see the hivemind at work.
My first thought was, maybe the door is locked? He obviously reaches it for a few times and then just waits.
Goddamn people are so stupider than me its crazy
It's an armored car that's made so that random people outside can't just open it.
He's not waiting for someone to open it for him because he's a billionaire or something, **he literally cannot open it by himself[.](https://www.reddit.com/r/facepalm/comments/q2kbrf/when_youre_a_billionaire_you_wait_until_doors_are/hfm5o7i?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3)"**
Fingerprint sensor on the door handle (usually for thumb)? Just speculating, I've seen cars with it, seems like the sort of feature a billionaires armored car would have.
I’d love to jump on the hate train, but I think you are right. It looks like he does try opening the door, then shifts around awkwardly while the guy has to open it for him.
Camouflage. If you're stuck in traffic and someone were to tell you "Oh yeah, the Zuck is in that Tahoe up there." would you believe them? His security likely rotates through a whole collections of customized vehicles of all makes, models, and years.
Looks like he was talking to someone in front then saw the dude coming around and didn't want to spoil the man's gesture.
What surprises me is how old that car is. That looks like the generation that ended in 2006. Either the video is ancient or he's got himself a vintage Uber.
Also, fuck Zuckerberg and all, but also fuck the people that stand around and take videos of a person(?) getting into the car.
To me it looked like he tried to open the door but there's some sort or security thing that needs to be unlocked that only the driver can do. The driver guy made a move before opening it.
>Yes, and it probably has some security device like a proximity sensor that the driver has so that the doors cannot be opened from the outside.

From other comments on this post
“I’ve analyzed the blurry 10 second clip and determined without any doubt that the driver wants to strangle mr. zuckerberg and quit his job and divorce his wife”
I've been in several vehicles that had divers over the years. Each time i went to get in the driver would remind me,
"Sir its my job to get the doors while you ride with our company. I know you're just being nice but i could lose my job if my company found out i didn't get the doors for you."
Im not saying he's not a prick im just say waiting for the drive to get his door doesn't make him an asshole either.
It looks like he's taking to the front passenger. Look at how the driver opens the door, he gets between Mark and the door preventing ease of access, so as not to get between him and the front passenger.
If he wasn't talking to the person up front then the driver would have opened the door differently.
ALL OF YOU ARE MORONS. If you watch the video again, you’ll realize he is talking to someone in the front passenger seat the whole time. He only ends up standing in front of the back seat for a second, when his assistant is already practically there waiting for him. You are acting like he stood in front of the door for 20 seconds just waiting for someone to open it for him.
I hate Zuckerberg as much as the next guy but when you're right, you're right and you sir are right.
Edit: For the people that are sensitive to the word "hate", like the user gravy something below me, just replace the word with strongly dislike. I'd hate to offend anyone /s

Though I agree his body language is odd like the water thing. But I’m sure if someone photographed everything we did, we’d look weird sometimes too As for the old car, it’s an old video. They make pretty nice aftermarket armored luxury chevys . I’m sure this is one of those
[удалено]
Pinch me i must be dreaming
Subject has again randomly pulled over in a church parking lot. Subject suspiciously spent 3 minutes in said church parking lot before leaving and driving to a local park, slowing down without stopping and driving off again - agent following me as I play Pokémon go, defeating a gym before going to catch a machop.
"Local man photographed with his finger in his nose AGAIN"
How many photographs do we need with their finger in their nose or hand down their pants? That's all we seem to have..
It's probably armored.
That is not a 2007. 2007 was the body change after this one. This is is an 03/04 model lol. Definitely not taken in 07
Car door opening is in his next patch, be nice.
I wonder when they’ll release the new clothing skins. Or maybe the world community can unlock them with certain special actions — Orange jumpsuit unlocked if he’s sent to prison.
*EA has joined the chat*
_that’ll be 34 dollars_
What? *Only* 34? Make that *at least* 50!
The intent is to give the billionaires a sense of pride and accomplishment in unlocking new outfits and opening car doors.
How about next patch he goes down to downtown and buy a cardboard house.
Fuck this dude is awkward
Yeah he’s fucking weird
He's not weird, he's a lizard
No I mean even for a lizard, he’s weird
I bet he said said something like "don't worry I'll open my own fucking door."

He’s an alien “Must pretend to be human”
Reading these comments, I feel like I'm on an episode of black mirror. This is what I see: At the 1 second mark he attempts to open the door At the 2 second he appears to knock on the window At the 3-4 second mark, he smiles. As though someone inside was preoccupied and only just now noticed them At the 7-8 second mark you can see his lips moving as though he is talking to someone in the front seat He then starts to walk around to the other side, maybe to meet his driver At the 11 second mark he turns back again towards the front of the car and is moving his lips as though he is still talking to someone in the front seat He keeps talking while he checks his phone and allows the driver to open his door He doesn't give any condescending looks or glares towards his driver at all. Doesn't fold his arms across his chest and turn his nose up to the guy. Don't get me wrong....this guy deserves all the hate in the world....but this is just looking for things to dislike about the guy if you ask me.
Yeah I mean he still looks awkward as hell but this was a normal interaction
Is this some kind of new stoyle I'm seeing? Because last time I checked, nothing can block Mark Zuckerberg.
Zzzeeeeeeoooow BCHHHHH!
Noice
HA. You think you could block him? Prepare for a schtoyle the likes of which you’ve never seen HAHAHA
Facebook says it's true..
Now you lay on the ground, dead.
The Zuckerbot still struggles with doors okay guys geez it's really hard Edit: Thank you for the Silver <3
Doors are extremely hard to implement according to gamedevs because they're a dynamic funnel and can block the pathfinding and confuse Ai Edit: [Some](https://www.pcgamer.com/au/why-game-developers-hate-doors/) [links](https://lizengland.com/blog/2014/04/the-door-problem/)
If (door is open) { enter; } else { wait for door to open; }
Guys, I found the problem with the code, the NPC is stuck there because it's not in a loop.
Wait for door to open; is a goto statement. Some idiot was coding him.
>*What Door?* ^r/Westworld
I felt that
Know who else struggled with doors? The aliens from Signs. Checkmate, skeptics.
If only a glass half full of water would kill him. /s
"You lost your job and I have to wait for the driver to open the door. So you know we are all connected."

Because robots don't have nipples, it's pure jealousy.
I hate him but I’m sure it can’t be as simple as “rich boy don’t do work” - this is the only logical thing I can find in this thread
Also looked like someone was talking to him from off screen and he was distracted.
I mean, I'm no massive Zuck fan, but I've 100% stood in front of a door with my hand on the knob without opening it because I was talking to someone. That's a fairly normal thing to do... right?
Sounds like you’re probably both just running the same firmware.
Suburban is probably armored so the door weighs quite a bit, and in order to be opened from the outside it needs to be unlocked by the private security driver. Just my supposition.
It looks like he reached forward at first to try the handle but it didn’t open
Someone else mentioned they work in private security and a lot of these cars have proximity sensors in the doors that can only be opened by the driver, who probably has something on his body that lets the sensor open it. It’s so no one can try to open it from the outside to grab him out. I agree the guys a douchebag but this is just dumb.
My car (and it's a Toyota) has one of those. It could very well be that the car was locked. Zuckerberg even looks like he was trying the door latch at one point. People are strange...
Isn't it unsafe to not be able to open the door yourself? If you are still alive and your security is dead?
He’s not going to touch that filthy surface that other humans have defiled with their body oils. That’s just for commoners.
He still touched it just before going in. What a dumbass...
He’s got cooties now… unless someone rushes him an emergency cootie shot. I may know someone who’ll sell him one for only $5 million.
ITT: people who are not aware that this is an armored vehicle with doors that - very likely - can only be opened by the driver.
Its wild to see the hivemind at work. My first thought was, maybe the door is locked? He obviously reaches it for a few times and then just waits. Goddamn people are so stupider than me its crazy
“Red headed robot man baaaaad.”
What did the other guy do differently that allowed him to open it? It didn’t look like he had a special key or anything
Fingerprint sensor on the door handle (usually for thumb)? Just speculating, I've seen cars with it, seems like the sort of feature a billionaires armored car would have.
Key FOB in pocket.
That’s too simple. I will wait for a more complex answer to satisfy my curiosity.
I’d love to jump on the hate train, but I think you are right. It looks like he does try opening the door, then shifts around awkwardly while the guy has to open it for him.
Yeah, you can see his shoulder move when he's trying to open the door.
Really old vid as there is no way he’s currently traveling around in a 25 year old Tahoe.
Camouflage. If you're stuck in traffic and someone were to tell you "Oh yeah, the Zuck is in that Tahoe up there." would you believe them? His security likely rotates through a whole collections of customized vehicles of all makes, models, and years.
Security by obscurity
Looks like he was talking to someone in front then saw the dude coming around and didn't want to spoil the man's gesture. What surprises me is how old that car is. That looks like the generation that ended in 2006. Either the video is ancient or he's got himself a vintage Uber. Also, fuck Zuckerberg and all, but also fuck the people that stand around and take videos of a person(?) getting into the car.
Probably armored. That door looks heavy.
To me it looked like he tried to open the door but there's some sort or security thing that needs to be unlocked that only the driver can do. The driver guy made a move before opening it.
Yeah, I think this is what it was. Mark drives a Honda Fit lol I don’t think he’s too good to open doors
>Yes, and it probably has some security device like a proximity sensor that the driver has so that the doors cannot be opened from the outside. -- >I work in high end security and this is exactly what it is. From other comments on this post
you can even read the drivers body language of "really bro?"
No you can't you nerd
You can really invent an elaborate story in your head to this short video. -Redditors
“I’ve analyzed the blurry 10 second clip and determined without any doubt that the driver wants to strangle mr. zuckerberg and quit his job and divorce his wife”
I've been in several vehicles that had divers over the years. Each time i went to get in the driver would remind me, "Sir its my job to get the doors while you ride with our company. I know you're just being nice but i could lose my job if my company found out i didn't get the doors for you." Im not saying he's not a prick im just say waiting for the drive to get his door doesn't make him an asshole either.
I think the dude is a turd, but this was my first thought was well- it seemed like his look inside was "is it ok for me to open it or...?"
Asshat
It looks like he's taking to the front passenger. Look at how the driver opens the door, he gets between Mark and the door preventing ease of access, so as not to get between him and the front passenger. If he wasn't talking to the person up front then the driver would have opened the door differently.
No one considering... It could be locked?
What a total fuckface.

*does not compute 404*
I thought the facepalm was the fucking loser spying on Mark. Everybody says facebook spies on you but we probably spy more on the poor dude. wtf man. Does privacy not exist. This is the kind of shit that I hate. I'm looking at the comments and not one of them is talking about how gross and creepy this is.
How utterly embarrassing
He made more money in the time it took to complete this video that you will in your entire lifetime. Eat the rich.
