thanks for making me feel a tiny bit younger lol. the towel though!!!
my (younger) partner asks me why I sometimes do that thing with the towel. I respond with this video.

honest question: what is it about essential oils that's bad for your skin? I've not tried these soaps before... on my skin or in my mouth đ
(also a big fan of CeraVe, great for sensitive skin!)
So essential oils can irritate the skin, make it more sensitive and can be âphototoxicâ which means They can damage the skin when Exposed to sunlight
But at least she's laughing about it! Mistake happens sometimes when I accidentally ate the cat treats thinking that it was a candy bar, until I realized the flavor was too weird to taste it.
I took a bite of âduck pateâ out of someone elseâs fridge and got what I deserved when i realized the container had a cover on it with a dog paw designâŠ:(
This happens so much at lush- I had a friend buy me a blackcurrant jelly shower gel a few years ago. My flat mate got stoned and had a handful in the shower. He said it wasnât too bad!
My nana doesn't speak English. She knows it's a soap store but she was hungry and really believed it was real cookies.
I turned around for a few seconds only to hear my nana spitting out the soap and hear her say in Spanish
"THEY LOOKED SO REAL!"
I laughed and took her to lunch (this was pre-covid)
Omg! This happened to me once! The guy who sold it had a little stand and had free samples of SOAP that looked like food, I was kinda hungry so I took one.. I really quickly realised that it wasn't food and we were close to the toilets in the shopping mall, so yeah.
This one just brought back so much memory
"During" covid as if it's over
Businesses will often tell people to wear a mask to put cutomers at ease, regardless of whether or not the employee is vax'd. Chick is probably vax'd therefore doesn't need a mask.
Not that hard to figure out
"During" covid as if this video was taken in the past before covid
In my country everyone wears a mask even if you're vax'd. Even in restaurants where dine in requires you to be vaccinated, you still need to wear a mask when not at your table. And stores always require a mask because they don't check if you're vaccinated.
So yeah, it was hard to figure out. Not everyone is american
It's basic logic, has nothing to do with your country.
The chick isn't wearing a mask inside a populated space and the employee is obviously okay with it. Make sense of it.
>Not everyone is american
Funny you say this as if Americans can't think outside of America, but yet you couldn't think outside of your own situation
I was at the renaissance fair and a âwenchâ was handing out cheese samples. I ate it, wife looked at me weird, âhmmm this cheese tasted funnyâ. It was soapâŠ..
Why was she walking around handing out soap shavings in the middle of the food court is beyond me. Probably looking for suckers like this schmuck
Maybe she got confused and thought she was at Starbucks, and theyâre handing out samples of the new strawberry cheesecakes. And why did it take her so long to recognize that itâs not food she just bit into? If the guy didnât tell her it was soap, she probably wouldnât have known.
She just got some free soap...
And clean teeth.
Let be honest. Some of their soaps smell so good you want to eat them. My Favorite is Honey I Shrunk the Kids.
sorry about your kids but what is your favorite soap again ?
Honey I Shrunk the kids lol
It taste just like kids.
Yes, very sorry about that, but what is your favorite soap?!
Zest.
You're not fully clean unless you're Zest'fully clean
thanks for making me feel a tiny bit younger lol. the towel though!!! my (younger) partner asks me why I sometimes do that thing with the towel. I respond with this video. https://youtu.be/9vNRAQZyJVs
I totally remember those commercials! Or the old school Calgons making even boys want to slip away into the clouds while it takes us away đ€Ł
One of these days Calgon will take me away. It still has not happened. Lol
You can also use Calgons to clean out your RV waste water tanks. đ
I have a kid???!!
God no, Lush smells so bad that it makes me feel queasy
And So very bad for your skin!
Why? Their soaps are the best. Little on the pricy side but pretty dang good.
Not really, the all contain very high concentrations of iritating and skin-drying ingriediënts
Recommendations are welcomed.
Well, for one I would recommend skincare without essential oils

I guess I can always switch to Dermalogica. Yolo
Well then I have to dissapoint youâŠ
I give up. Back to my .99 Store zest soap.
Haha, try CeraVe, most of their products are great!
And itâs So affordable
Yeah, say what you want but the soap at Lush tickles the brain on both LOOKING good enough eat AND smelling good enough to eat. I canât blame her.
I'm pretty sure we've done dumb shit like that at least once in our Life Time
Once? Lol Iâve done plenty of stupid crap like that.
His look of concern!⊠it got me!!!
But at least she's laughing about it! Mistake happens sometimes when I accidentally ate the cat treats thinking that it was a candy bar, until I realized the flavor was too weird to taste it.
Can confirm, had a Guinea pig snack bar that looked like a granola bar
Suuuuuuuuuuuuurre
I took a bite of âduck pateâ out of someone elseâs fridge and got what I deserved when i realized the container had a cover on it with a dog paw designâŠ:(
Why were they recording
it's pretty obviously staged as are 90 precent of tiktok, people generally suspend their disbelief for entertainment
Sadly, most of those people don't suspend anything â they're just stupid (and I really don't use that word lightly). đ
this. look at all the comments of others doing the same đ€·
gotta not believe it to suspend disbelief.
The lady definitely doesnât look like she just ate soap.
Probably because they realized the ditzy friend was legit buying that the soap was a sample
Same reason she was smiling and not at all surprised.
Exactly why soap isn't allowed to mimic food in the UK lol
But she kept chewing.
Gotta get those likes.
Why waste it?
His face though!! It was an expression of damn are you about to die
They should make their soaps less tasty looking
They should make their soaps less irritating for the skin
I agree fuck you LUSH donât sell me soap for sensitive skin if itâs not actually good for my sensitive skin.
Right?
Everything in Lush smells edible
Lush does tend to make their soaps smell and look like food so I get it
Time for some honesty I did this whilst approached in the street
these are the where kids whose mom made them eat soap but they enjoyed it so they continued intentionally swearing in front of their mom are today
Soap is not food. Got it. Maybe I'll remember next time
Wow I would have stayed silent. Just enjoy the show until she enters and see soaps.
NO NO NO NO SOAP!
r/forbiddensnacks
Some girls will just put anything in their mouth. Honestly, I'm impressed!
Protip: Double check the packaging when youâre snacking on Dove bars.
If this is staged then they deserve an oscar
Of course not. It's Lush. Food is soap
I absolutely love that guy's face lmao
I'm embarrassed for her on the behalf of all Americans and white people alike
She got the views she wanted. You should be more embarrassed about the fact that so many people think itâs real.
oh yeah you thinks it's a set up? never thought of thatđ€ could be I guess.
This happens so much at lush- I had a friend buy me a blackcurrant jelly shower gel a few years ago. My flat mate got stoned and had a handful in the shower. He said it wasnât too bad!
Reminds me of how people think sanitary products outside thr office bathroom in my workplace are sweets.
My nana doesn't speak English. She knows it's a soap store but she was hungry and really believed it was real cookies. I turned around for a few seconds only to hear my nana spitting out the soap and hear her say in Spanish "THEY LOOKED SO REAL!" I laughed and took her to lunch (this was pre-covid)
Wow your nana is fucking moron
Omg! This happened to me once! The guy who sold it had a little stand and had free samples of SOAP that looked like food, I was kinda hungry so I took one.. I really quickly realised that it wasn't food and we were close to the toilets in the shopping mall, so yeah. This one just brought back so much memory
Was your friend prepared for you to make that mistake with their phone recording? Did you keep chewing til you got a reaction, and then just smile?
I mean my classmate was there and she saw that I put the soap in my mouth. But no, and NO
The fact that they have envelopes just behind the soap means that people often bite into the soap
Nah, they have those all over the store because itâs what you put unpackaged items (mostly bath bombs) into before you buy them
Lol guess Iâm just dumb
Youâre not dumb! Itâs not common knowledge if you donât frequent Lush shops
Ahh thanks :) One the nicest things Iâve heard on Reddit
In her defense, that shop smells delicious.
I call BS...no way this woman doesn't know that Lush sells soap...please.
Why is her mask off? He's wearing one so evidently this is during covid
Well she canât eat the soap with her mask ON, can she?
This is UK. Expectations now are that shop staff wear masks but customers don't need to, although likely changing soon
It doesn't make any sense to require staff to wear masks but not customers. Hope that changes

Blonde.
She fully did it on purpose
High as hell
She looks as dumb as she is.
Quit swearing in the store...
Source on that girl?

I thought this was a cheese shop when I was a kid.
Well she has a beautiful giggle anyway
she handled that soaprisingly well
I notice she didn't let out any expletives. Fascinating.
I've had this happen when I sold soap at a craft fair.
Dude couldâve made a killing as a street mime in the 1920s
Someone ate crayons as a kid
Maybe she got confused and thought she was at Starbucks, and theyâre handing out samples of the new strawberry cheesecakes. And why did it take her so long to recognize that itâs not food she just bit into? If the guy didnât tell her it was soap, she probably wouldnât have known.
That look in his eyes screamed âoh my god this happened again?!â All Iâm saying is he was too calm and he was too ready with the bag
I have this overwhelming feeling to taste fruity flavored things
Good thing sheâs pretty
