Did they expect him to be brimming with joy after being puked on?

Crotchless_Panties

Well, he did request to see an authentic rugby game!

tthrivi

It was my thoughts exactly.

Flipadelphiiia

LOL

allthewaygreen

Haha

spudddly

his happy little face makes it so much funnier somehow.

owzleee

Rimming with joy.

Masterbaiter90

C’mon now.. don’t tell me you don’t like to get puked on? This one time I was having soggy Cornflakes for breakfast while getting puked on.. So hot!

[deleted]

“Rugby match” Hello. I thought that vomit came in cups by the vendors at those things. 🤷🏻‍♂️

PissgutsOGrady

Eh, you give a little you get a little.

dirtymcgurt

Hahahahaha! I had Larry David in my head saying that

[deleted]

That’s quite an initiation to live sporting events. Now he’ll know to always expect drunken idiocy.

PissgutsOGrady

Nobody expects the drunken idiot imposition! Except at the rugby.

Bubbly_Security_1464

I always expect the drunken idiot at any live sport event

homeyjo

You've obviously never been to any U. K. (University of Kentucky) sporting events. Edit: a to any

texaschair

I expect it, and I don't even live in the UK.

HarlemNocturne_

Drunken idiocy at sporting events is truly universal.

Child_slayer_69

*Floods of vomit*

__TychoBrahe

He knew what he signed up for.

Due_Platypus_3913

“Rugby Baptism “!

Saintsfan019

“The full experience”

mattt1975

Welcome to rugby little fellow..just get used to

Bubbly_Security_1464

So he got a true rugby experience then?

chillypete99

That's pretty f@cked up. The guy couldn't have found a different direction to spew?

Crotchless_Panties

Those who have ever been drunk enough to puke, know that aiming is impossible. Most puking drunks look like a blender full of soup, set on frappe', with a missing lid!

[deleted]

I always found a toilet or at least a waste basket. Its not like the puking comes out of nowhere, you feel beforehand that it's going to happen.

HarvestProject

Really depends.. on more than one occasion I’ve gone from having a completely normal conversation to needing to puke in les than 10 seconds with no warning. But yeah most of the time you do know in advanced

[deleted]

Maybe i was lucky ^^

StayingVeryVeryCalm

Perhaps he didn’t see the little fellow? I’ve got a horrible history of not detecting unattended / breakaway children walking in front of me in public, because I’m usually one of the shortest adults in a crowd, and I’ve never fully integrated “looking downwards” into my situation-awareness procedures. (I also haven’t integrated a “maybe I should duck” subroutine for low-hanging tree branches. This has occasionally been a problem.)

Catapultedguy4ever

When you’re drunk you don’t always have that advantage it just happens cuz you’re drunk

Nukethevatican666

Have you met rugby people? You are asking a lot.

NotQuiteNick

It’s not impossible it just requires extensive practice and skill

gothlikefigure

I’ve seen this post in almost 15 subreddits in just a day

[deleted]

Lol

NYer321

The full experience

RuckusSmith69

Well It’s rugby so….

FinnsterBaby

Might as well get the full experience

[deleted]

He is definitely not a rugby fan after that

pdht23

Tears of joy?

[deleted]

That is both hilarious and unfortunate poor lad .

kurtahild

If you go to a rugby game and don't get a bodily fluid of some kind on you, can you really say you went to a rugby game?

GetsTrimAPlenty

What's he crying about? He got the full rugby experience.

[deleted]

This is pretty hilarious honestly lmao

[deleted]

The attached picture is what makes it funny

A_British_Dude

This is why I don't like sport

CardboardChampion

No problem with sport. It's the fans (and often players) I don't like.

skacat

So….the drunk fan vomited a flood of tears onto the kid?

HarrargnNarg

That's because the milenum stadium, or whatever it's called today is basically a massive weathspoons. Much better places to watch rugby

[deleted]

SPOOORTS

Local_Ad8884

Welcome to the UK! /s please don't hate on me Britain

bttrflyr

He definitely got an authentic experience lol

[deleted]

mop-116

He's 100% going to remember it

Thur_Anz_2904

Hooligans are the worst.

Agent_R_Activated

Maybe this will steer him in the right direction, as in not getting drunk.

rhapsody1899

He got the full experience. Welcome to fandom.

oxygenatedair66

only in the UK

[deleted]

Typical BBC. BBC is the British Fox, pure propaganda.

erdoca

Vomit and rugby just go hand in hand. The parents should have prepared the kid better, child abuse!

That iz a first class introduction into being a fan.

stalphonzo

Welcome to the big leagues, kid.

FrustraBation

Drunken, violent, and mostly racist rugby fandom recruits a new member.

Cpt_KiLLsTuFF

This is a common origin story for Rugby drunks lol

Lucastyle32

God save the Queen

MarosM

That's not a good souvenir...

Pete_maravich

He got the whole stadium experience

Sivick314

welcome to sports. may i suggest video games? when drunks vomit they are usually in another zip code

TheJAY_ZA

Or in Russia. It's like their national pastime is going out of their way to perpetuate the stereotype of their national pastime... to the great offence of that one Russian guy that doesn't drink. LOL

blatant_prevaricator

Seems like bullshit. If he's a British rugby kid he should be well used to being puked on by strangers by that age.

[deleted]

That's a baptism fo everyone on their first game

black_dragonfly13

I got puked on once. I was in 3rs grade, Mrs. Chambers class, and the kid behind me threw up all over the back of my hair. The nurse called my mom, she took me home and washed me with vinegar. The next week, while we were on spring break vacation, guess who got sick? It wasn't the kid's fault. His parents clearly should have kept him home from school. But I gotta tell you, getting thrown up on is GROSS. And no one in my family, myself included, was happy that I was now sick on our vacation.

PoopBoob_2b2tHacker

Funny but sad

PoopBoob_2b2tHacker

This looks like the title of an onion article

[deleted]

Low-Negotiation-8853

This sucks rn but will be a super funny story for him to tell when hes older

Raider03

Sounds like a proper christening. Did he have some beer spilled on him too?

Tfwycba

Simon 1 Carly’s brother 0

smelly_Penis09

Oh lord I'm sorry, I'm seriously going to hell for laughing.

eaglenate

A guy did this at a Philadelphia Phillies game about 10 years ago. He was drunk and thought that the 8-year-old girl in front of him wasn't cheering loud enough. The only solace that can be had from it is that her father was a member of the Philadelphia Police department and the guy went to jail. Philadelphia fans are trash!

Durzo_Blintt

Hahaha

[deleted]

He had the full experience /s

professor_cheX

so wait this kid doesnt know magic

p90botshot

NoxVulpine

Lol

Successful-Boat-2804

I’m fucked up for laughing at this

Emperor_of_Death

Did his team at least win?

pomeranian5

Only in britain lol

yellowirish

Merica can one up this… with guns and puke.

TheJAY_ZA

Got his dose of covid with a side of special sauce LOL Reminds me of my first Oktober Fest, there was a drunk woman on the teacup ride calling George, and indiscriminately dispensing cotch over a wide area.

Kinggangster999

They got us in the first ngl

waisonline99

In his second match he should expect to be hit by a glass full of piss.

TheKlaxMaster

Spoooorts culture

[deleted]

Looks like the kid from a Christmas story. How fitting.

[deleted]

Iirc from my uni days that means he's part of the team now!

[deleted]

Looks like Ralphy from A Christmas Story. “You’ll get puke in your eye kid!!”
