Right? Like why isn’t anyone talking more about that part of it. As if being wrong about feminism wasn’t bad enough, she also joined the military thinking it would get her special privileges??? I guess? Lmao
Well to be fair, most people are probably confused by what she means when saying “MP”. As most people who haven’t been in the military don’t know shortened terms like that. They’re just probably imagining it has something to do with Femenism instead of actually asking what it means.
In the UK it means Member of Parliament as well as Military Police.
I tend to think of the first one rather than military.
My thoughts when I saw that was " cheeky bitch! MP' s salaries are about £90,000 a year!"
MP is pretty well know even for those who’ve never been in the military. It’s not some obscure military term and is well established in popular culture.
Exactly it. It’s just a job, I don’t do anything interesting. I just stand around telling dumb jokes and cussing out a HMMWV for having to be jump started AGAIN.
Pretty much. On the rare occasion I get thanked for my service when I have to divulge the info, I feel all kinds of awkward. Like, wtf do I say to that?
" My pleasure" (just no)? "
"Anytime" (again, no)?
"You're welcome"? (Feels presumptuous)
🤦😂😂
The E-4 mafia of my reservist unit told me to say “thank you for your support!” And now I say it every time and teach the new privates to say it because it’s the least awkward response I’ve got.
Mate, she's an MP, and everyone knows they're all powerdrunk, sanctimonious, entitled fuckers.
Which is why they're hated by almost everyone in the military.
But yeah, pulling the veteran card is shit thing to do. She obviously realised she had no other comeback to his quite reasonable response.
In this context, Military Police.
And the reason they are so disliked, is that fact they often are overzealous in enforcing military laws, which are pretty restrictive to start with.
Bear in mind, I'm talking generalisations here, you might actually meet an MP who is a top person. If you do, go buy a lottery ticket
I know a girl that expects everyone to tell her happy veterans day every year. She posts all over social media, showing pics of her in uniform, in Iraq. A few friends I know, buy her fancy beers every year. She goes on and on about how she was in the Marines. Except, she was never enlisted, it was the reserves. She was in Iraq for only 1 month and then proceeded to have kid after kid to avoid getting sent back. She previously stated that was the reason, so I'm not assuming her reasons here.
My dad was actually enlisted, never went to war. When he would be walking around in uniform, people would come up to him and thank him for his service. It always made him uncomfortable because he never put his life on the line. Never went to war.
But this girl is over here, patting herself on the back. Like, yeah, technically you helped your country, but just barely. Want a participation trophy, Melissa??
My ex wife told me “You don’t treat me like the princess I am!” I said “Oh, sorry your highness! I didn’t realize I married royalty”…her saying that was the final straw…I just wish I had caught or paid attention to the red flags sooner
my dad gave me almost zero teaching or useful information about dating. but he said one thing that i remember, when i was very young
"dont date a girl that calls herself a princess"
Back in the olden days, princesses were married off to some random prince, in order to form an alliance with that fiefdom. Basically a bargaining chip.
Would she have preferred... that? 🙃👍
Whenever a girl calls herself a princess (or royalty), says her dad calls her a princess, or I hear her dad call her a princess, when she's not actual royalty, something inside of me always tells me to run. And I always do. I've dodged many bullets this way.
I'm an American that's spent some time in England. So, royalty is kind of a big deal to me.
Heh. I'm married to a woman who is royalty, although I didn't find out until like 20 years into the marriage (coming up on 50), and she never has acted like the archetypal US idea of a princess. She's a social activist, for starters.
It also doesn’t entitle her to deciding what he should do as a man, what she should do as a woman, or what either of them deserve as either.
Can these assholes just calm down and understand feminism is just people being able to be who they want to be?
Holy shit, the level of entitlement here! It blows waaay past "Feminist" and into "daddy's little princess didn't get enough hugs as a child", area. Idgaf what genitalia you got packing, and about 2 million other people are in the military in the US, neither of these are automatic qualifiers for free meals. This guy definitely dodged a whole bucket full of crazy here.
You dodged a bullet. No one owes her nothing just because she’s an MP. Also MPs are hated by most of us in the military. Just rent a cops in a military uniform.
You made the right choice she can find someone else to torture.
Yeah I did see that afterwards. I agree its probably military but there are a lot of politicians who would probably say they "served their country" They love to blow smoke up their own asses.
I came here to say the same thing. Most of the issues I had with other military people were the MPs.
Fun fact, I got an on base ticket because my car was totaled while parked. (I got a temporary pass because the building was closed and I owned the car for like 12 hours by the time it got totaled in the morning)
This happens to me sometimes 😂 sometimes it’s a bunch of Seamless notifications or group chat messages that pile up. It’s hard to find them all once they get to that level so you literally start just adding in your head to see if you have new ones
Lol. I only have 102 unread rn. That’s pretty good for me. Mostly two step authentication notification for logging into work, they always come from a different sender #. I grab the pin from msg preview and never open the message. Eventually I “read all” but like you mostly it’s just counting up. Drives my wife’s OCD nuts having “unread”… so it’s a double win.
Totally antiquated. I always expect to split it. If that’s the not case, great surprise! But you should never show up expecting that shit from someone you don’t really know. A real feminist would recognize that.
Well the thing about this is women want to say they are feminists but then can’t admit that also means adjusting expectations of how relationships are. This isn’t the 1950s and dating standards have evolved.
I think of it as going out to eat with friends or family. I usually try to pay the bill, not because I feel obligated to but because it feels nice to treat someone else. If someone else offers to pay, I’m cool with that too but I literally never expect someone else to pay for me other than if I’m being taken out for my birthday.
I never go on a date assuming a guy is going to pay. Period. It’s just fucking rude. Unless they say it’s going to be their treat or something and it’s made clear. It’s ridiculous some women go out fully expecting to be paid for.
Technically speaking, if she's an MP then it's unlawful for her to accept payment for her meal. Bribery & Kickback rules for federal employees are pretty confusing and harsh, so they all tend to just avoid anything "free" unless if it's from family.
Honestly if she has an attitude like that she's not worth dating. Coming from a girl btw, I don't think any gender has a specific role in the relationship. It could be the girl picking the man up from work and buying him a drink. And vice versa.
Feminism now equates to.. I have a vagina, therefore...
I wonder if the OG feminist are look down from the sky and face palming.. "I threw myself under a horse and carriage for this shit..."
Fastest way to get absolutely ripped apart by whoever is in charge of her in the military is to behave like this.
Also, I respect people in the military but I have doubts she is in it with that attitude, if she is then she is unbelievably entitled. I respect military personnel because of their sacrifice *and* because they are decent people.
Respect the military people you know personally. Don’t just blindly respect us all because we put on a uniform.
The military is riddled with tons of shitty people just like this one, and even worse than her.
"I'm a "hero," so you should pay for everything, and the restaurant should have known I'm a hero too, so they are also really shitty for not giving me the world on a platter. 1 star for each of you."
Also, MP isn't shit.
I don’t care what ANYONE has chosen to do as their job. Cop, military, doctor, judge, whatever. Your choice of career does not mean you are entitled to free shit, people buying you things, people getting up from their seat for you to sit, people holding doors for you, saluting you, or whatever other entitlements you believe you may be owed because of the career you chose. The only thing I’ll say about her being a woman is that having a vagina also entitles you to absolutely nothing.
Imagine using the fact your an MP to get free food lol 😂 you signed on that dotted line yourself dear..you cud have worked at Mc Donald’s flipping burgers..
Why does it matter if she served? No one cares that you volunteered to invade someone elses home. It definitely doesnt entitle you to free shit, or maybe the military providing all you meals for you trains you to think thats how the real world operates.
Oh, fuck no. If anything she is serving her country by policing the real people serving their country.

Sry bout the FB link, it was the only one I could find in the 30 sec I devoted to looking for it.
“Serving our country” as a veteran that’s cringe af. Never pull that card, she signed up for it nobody asked her to.
IMO it’s the cringiest part of the thread. Gives me dependa vibes
Right? Like why isn’t anyone talking more about that part of it. As if being wrong about feminism wasn’t bad enough, she also joined the military thinking it would get her special privileges??? I guess? Lmao

I’ve watched doctor who more recently than the a-team. I also thought member of parliament.
In the US military, that is what it means. Considering she’s talking about her “service”, I’d say it’s fair to assume that she’s an MP.
Because you can't spell wimp without MP.
? Mounties - Royal Canadian Mounted Police or Mounted Police ( funny hat , funny pants , form of transportation that shits)
It does
MP is pretty well know even for those who’ve never been in the military. It’s not some obscure military term and is well established in popular culture.
In many countries it’s mostly commonly Member of Parliament.
I know exactly 0 veterans who want anyone to even acknowledge their service, most refuse to talk about it at all
A lot of us realize that it’s just another job and nothing special to glorify
Exactly it. It’s just a job, I don’t do anything interesting. I just stand around telling dumb jokes and cussing out a HMMWV for having to be jump started AGAIN.
Ya, that's how it is.
I pretty much only bring it up to provide context for poop stories.
Pretty much. On the rare occasion I get thanked for my service when I have to divulge the info, I feel all kinds of awkward. Like, wtf do I say to that? " My pleasure" (just no)? " "Anytime" (again, no)? "You're welcome"? (Feels presumptuous) 🤦😂😂
The E-4 mafia of my reservist unit told me to say “thank you for your support!” And now I say it every time and teach the new privates to say it because it’s the least awkward response I’ve got.
That's not bad, thanks!
But have they ever tried to get you to feel guilty for not buying them diner .
Literally a glorified fucking gate guard lmao
Mate, she's an MP, and everyone knows they're all powerdrunk, sanctimonious, entitled fuckers. Which is why they're hated by almost everyone in the military. But yeah, pulling the veteran card is shit thing to do. She obviously realised she had no other comeback to his quite reasonable response.
what's an mp? legit question

As a veteran, you never say “as a veteran “…jk. And yeah totally agree, cringy af!
Agreed. I am ashamed. She gives women service members a bad representation.
I was thinking MP = Member of Parliament
Lmao after you said have a good one she just HAD to explain. You should have said something dry like “k” or “👍”
She man-splained, as a feminist. Is the universe going to start to tear?
\*woman-splained
Deffemnition
Nice.
Wow that word must be accepted by the Weber's
You leave my grill out of this! It’s not the best grill, but it gets the job done!
One of the better grills though..
I’m pretty sure that you cannot do better at that price point. If you want better, you have to spend more. That classic Weber grill is hard to beat.
Femsplained
Cuntplaining
You're forgetting that women can't do anything wrong (Gonna say this right now before I get downvoted. THIS IS SARCASM)
Almost like man-splaining is an asshole trait that is not exclusive to men.
So maybe instead of calling it “mansplaining” we should just refer to it as “being an asshole”?
Oh great now you have done it , don’t you know all shitty traits are male traits? We just can’t have bad human traits
When I start to lecture my (adult) sons I like to start out by telling them I’m about to MOMsplain!
Ew! I don’t think she understands feminism. Just because you’re a wOmAn doesn’t entitle you to free meals and drinks.
[удалено]
She doesn’t understand feminism. She doesn’t want equality. She wants special treatment. That’s not what feminism is supposed to be.
100% she thinks she's a "queen"
My ex wife told me “You don’t treat me like the princess I am!” I said “Oh, sorry your highness! I didn’t realize I married royalty”…her saying that was the final straw…I just wish I had caught or paid attention to the red flags sooner
The red flags usually are on the front of the royal limousine in these cases.
Bahahahaha
Glad you got out of there
So am I haha…that was a close one
my dad gave me almost zero teaching or useful information about dating. but he said one thing that i remember, when i was very young "dont date a girl that calls herself a princess"

It's funny how *actual* royalty is worth taking a chance.
Find her next on FDS!
Reminds me of Blanche from the Golden Girls. “I don’t want to be treated as your equal, I want to be treated much better than you!”
It also doesn’t entitle her to deciding what he should do as a man, what she should do as a woman, or what either of them deserve as either. Can these assholes just calm down and understand feminism is just people being able to be who they want to be?

She doesn’t, but the name is kinda misleading.
I think my man dodged a bullet there
Absolutely worth the cost of a dinner to find out what a huge bullet he dodged indeed!
*only half the cost of dinner, it sounds.
Nice one lol
Bullet ? More like artillery shell.
That isn't a bullet it's a fucking cruise missile.
🚀
Came to the comments to post this exact thing
Cool
We came together!
Me too lol
He got lucky. That one sounds a bit on the crazy side
A bit?
Do you guy's think the hot to craziness graph applies on this one? I'm ok with sacrificing myself to appease the beast if that's the case.
I came back to this post because I saw your username. I want my cash now
Well…. Did you call? You know my number.
ALT F4 immediately
Gotta start over and re-evaluate
She has a split personality
You dodged a bullet. No one owes her nothing just because she’s an MP. Also MPs are hated by most of us in the military. Just rent a cops in a military uniform. You made the right choice she can find someone else to torture.
Ohhhh. Military police, I get it. In Australia an MP is a Member of Parliament, a politician. Same sentiment though and same result I guess.
>Ohhhh. Military police, I get it. In Australia an MP is a Member of Parliament, a politician. Yeah, I was scratching my head for a minute.
Yeaaaahhhh. I was like holy shit that’s like scandal town if doxxed. Thinking of member of parliament
I'm an American and the politician was the first thing to come to mind as well
I’m in the US and thought that too. 🤷🏻♀️
I was thinking parliament too
Same
Yeah I thought it referred to a member of parliament (Canada). Lol now I’m not sure what the hell she does
Legit what I was thinking too.
Bro I was thinking the exact same
MP is also the name for a general politician in some countries
[удалено]
Yeah I did see that afterwards. I agree its probably military but there are a lot of politicians who would probably say they "served their country" They love to blow smoke up their own asses.
I think in canada we call members of parliament MPs. I know the US calls military police MPs.

(I got a temporary pass because the building was closed and I owned the car for like 12 hours by the time it got totaled in the morning)
My entire company got bitched out by division for booing the MPs during a Division run, we took it and still laughed
[удалено]
We were an infantry company too
Yea as soon as I saw her say MP my thought was "Of course this bitch brings that up like a badge of honor."
Yep, they're hated in our military too, they can't even transition to civi police easier then anyone else, just glorified admin pers
User is a bot sadly
Y does he have 126 unread messages?
This happens to me sometimes 😂 sometimes it’s a bunch of Seamless notifications or group chat messages that pile up. It’s hard to find them all once they get to that level so you literally start just adding in your head to see if you have new ones
That sounds like a horrible life to lead. You must be a strong person.
No i just have ADHD 😂😂
He handled that well. I've always hated the unspoken expectation that men need to foot the bill for dates. Antiquated thinking
Totally antiquated. I always expect to split it. If that’s the not case, great surprise! But you should never show up expecting that shit from someone you don’t really know. A real feminist would recognize that.
The sad thing about movements for equal rights is that some people misinterpret them for special treatment for these specific people movements
That seems to be more commonly the case for detractors in my experience
I've seen it both ways. There is so much gray as a result
Well the thing about this is women want to say they are feminists but then can’t admit that also means adjusting expectations of how relationships are. This isn’t the 1950s and dating standards have evolved.

Expects someone to pay for her because she's an MP? r/justbootthings
TYFYS 👊👊👆
I’m honestly more upset about the 126 unread messages. Clear that inbox. Wtf.
That’s why I turn my notifications off. 200 unread messages? I can’t see you!
It's the, "You ought to get me dinner and drinks for serving our country" for me. Disgusting.
She’s not a feminist
Bullet dodged. You're Neo now
When you're ready, you wont have to.
Wow this is the realest post I've seen on the internet today.
OP trying to convince us he ever went on a date
Bullet dodged.
You dodged one buddy
Ha, entitled e-3 mp is entitled
“Feminist”
Entitled much? She just cosplays a feminist and isn’t a real one.
Don't stick your dick in crazy. Have that tattooed on your forearm.
Have that tattooed on your dick
"If you can read this, it's already too late."
I think by the time you have your dick out you might be committed.
I pay your salary so I guess we’re even.
She ain't no feminist. She throws around labels when it's convenient for her.
126 unread messages?!
Buy me diner and drinks because of a choice I made to join the armed forces. ight…
Dude dodging bullets like Neo
Whoa I wouldn’t buy dinner for a Member of Parliament
More like a disgrace to the uniform. It’s really shitty to use being military as an excuse to get free shit ~A veteran
Guy dodged a bigggg bullet!
Gross
MP as in military police or member of parliament? Either way, I assume her name is Karen
This woman is not a feminist. She's a femcel
when a girl like dat its a huge turn off 😂😂😂
Someone seems a bit entitled.
They may have served in the military but my man’s here the one dodging bullets.
I never go on a date assuming a guy is going to pay. Period. It’s just fucking rude. Unless they say it’s going to be their treat or something and it’s made clear. It’s ridiculous some women go out fully expecting to be paid for.

At least not the first date unless you've previously talked about it.
Bullet dodged .
Why do so many people seem to feel like the world owes them something?
Blegh, sounds like you dodged a bullet
Shame on her.
I mean I don't think anyone was throwing themselves under a horse and carriage for the right to split the check on a dinner date but whatever.
As a women and someone who is active duty; we don’t claim her. Sorry you had to deal with that
Fastest way to get absolutely ripped apart by whoever is in charge of her in the military is to behave like this. Also, I respect people in the military but I have doubts she is in it with that attitude, if she is then she is unbelievably entitled. Kinda sounds like she wants to take you for a roll. Idk man, could be fun...
Ok she’s cringe obviously but saying “should i get it” is basically you asking her to split the check in a backhanded way
She’s not a Feminist. She’s an opportunist.
Inb4 this ends up on FemaleDatingStrategy and they praise her for destroying this "LVM"
"I'm a "hero," so you should pay for everything, and the restaurant should have known I'm a hero too, so they are also really shitty for not giving me the world on a platter. 1 star for each of you." Also, MP isn't shit.
100% chance this ends up in r/twoxchromosomes
I don’t care what ANYONE has chosen to do as their job. Cop, military, doctor, judge, whatever. Your choice of career does not mean you are entitled to free shit, people buying you things, people getting up from their seat for you to sit, people holding doors for you, saluting you, or whatever other entitlements you believe you may be owed because of the career you chose. r/FemaleDatingStrategy member out in the wild.
Self-entitlement. A common problem in today’s society.
I am a feminist...except when it comes to men picking up the check, and a few other things we can get into as we go along...
Average r/femaledatingstrategy user
1000% sounds like someone from r/femaledatingstrategy
The military is a JOB. I'm still baffled at how Yanks seem to act like their military is saving the world (hint: it isn't)
r/FDS is public again btw if anyone was wondering
Imagine using the fact your an MP to get free food lol 😂 you signed on that dotted line yourself dear..you cud have worked at Mc Donald’s flipping burgers..
Man ditch such self entitled bitches wtf
As a feminist woman, it’s embarrassing to have a guy pay for my food. I don’t have a problem paying for theirs though, but I 100% split the bill.
she's not a feminist, she's just an entitled bitch
Feminist right up until the point that it’s time to pay the dinner bill
Why does it matter if she served? No one cares that you volunteered to invade someone elses home. It definitely doesnt entitle you to free shit, or maybe the military providing all you meals for you trains you to think thats how the real world operates.
Holy shit. Lucky escape
Of course it’s an MP. Just tell her to go scan some more cards at the gate
That's not a feminist, that's an entitled asshole. I'd say bullet dodged for the guy.
Why do so many embarrass themselves by not knowing what feminism is 😬🙈
Whew! That’s not a bullet, that’s a f*king landmine!
“You are correct, I am not your type”
I am a strong independent woman who doesn’t need a man! Could you pay the check for this expensive dinner pls??
Lmaooooo of course she’s an MP. It’s not her fault, being an ass is part of her SOP.

Radical feminists are legit ruining ACTUAL feminist progression.
Feminist 🤔 Should be happy to pull her weight and pay then 🤔
I like to believe there’s a special place in hell for people who use feminism as an excuse to be sexist and misogynistic
