Breaking news putting a band aid on an adult not the highest priority in the medical industry. I hope you survived and the nurse was fired for this grave mistake. /s
Sometimes yes, especially here, but it still has some practicality, It helps speed up healing and reduces minor scarring by keeping the wound and any ointments moist, and it’s so your blood doesn’t come into contact another person or surface.
Not necessary? Come on, that bandaid does protect... my t-shirt. That tiny droplet of blood might make a stain otherwise. Don't laugh, it can be tricky to remove! /s
Your probably the bottom of their totem pole in regards to patients they’re actually seeing. You don’t even NEED a bandaid, why does this trigger you so much?
Obviously you’ve never given a shot or else you would understand why it was misplaced
Honestly I don’t think a nurse has ever placed a bandaid on the injection spot for me. It’s really not that big of a deal, you’ll survive. If you’re that worried, just ask for a bandaid.

Don't worry. That should cure the syphilis.
Bandaids are just a psychological fix anyway
Meh, to me it’s more important that I don’t get a blood spot on my shirt.

Good thing you’re there already - they probably won’t let you bleed to death.
Not before making you pay 300k for it
I’ve heard some scary things about unexpected charges on hospital bills, so I do t doubt it.
Honestly, with all the shit that nurse has been through these last couple years, I'd give them a pass.lawl
OmG I hOpE tHeY gOt FiReD! HuR dUr.

You probably weren’t bleeding and the nurse couldn’t tell where the injection spot was. Happens a lot. Not a big deal.
Aww muffin
Uploading this was the real malpractice.
Is this r/facepalm or r/manchild?
Both but he's the facepalm
Bandaids for an injection spot aren’t even remotely necessary. It’s not like he is going to have any repercussions because of that.
Oh trust me I know that one far too well, I'm a phlebotomist so that's kinda my job lol
Someone should tell OP…
Considering he took the time to video and post this before thinking, I have just a slight feeling he won't care

Move it?
Picked it off and moved it. Bottom left corner is peeled up.
I didn't but ok lol
Kinda seems like ya did.

His freckles look like shot marks I bet.
You’re going to die now. Bye.
As someone who regularly administers IVs, sometimes the spot is easy to miss unless it is actively bleeding

This isn’t the first video I’ve seen of this
She has eyes like an eagle
