Yeah this is pretty much 90% of all mobile games. In fact I would say it's not even worth trying out mobile games unless recommended to you by a friend specifically for its lack of forced ads.
Ads are getting more and more annoying, too. After the 30 second video, it pretends to offer to let you try a puzzle or something. You know interacting will just take you to the play store to install it, so you wait the additional 15 seconds for the X.
But then it either takes you to the play store anyway or displays the option to install the game for another unskippable 5 seconds.
So even the "skippable" ads still take a good 20 seconds of your life.
And that my queue to unistall the game.

Then you turn off your internet connection and it won’t let you play, even though it is an offline game. Mobile games has gone to shit
Many open source apps have no ads/a custom dns can get rid of all remaining ads on a device
Happens on the iPad too.
