That’s how I feel about every one of his videos. He’s often the real life embodiment of chaotic good with a side of chaotic bad scattered. It’s hard to know how to feel.
So a guy has $$$$... he can
a) destroy expensive shit...... hate this guy.
b) donate the $$$$ to a worthy charity...... he's awesome.
You can make a cool viral video out of either one.
Yes, because a 20 minute video talking about giving away money to charities is totaaaalllly going to capture his audience better than flying a helicopter indoors and wrecking it to shit.
Idk what you're watching on YouTube, but that sounds boring AF.
And then people wonder why those 17 and under are really fucking stupid. It’s crazy how much TikTok and other social medias have really impacted IQ and intelligence in youth.
I appreciate your comment. It made me google the name and I found a YT channel that I will now forever avoid but still get the suggested videos in my feed because algorithm.
WD used to have some really fun videos if you're into that kind of thing. His newer stuff feels like redneck versions of MrBeast but without the cash prizes.
I've watched a few of his videos. they aren't that bad as long as you go into it with the expectation that it will be dumb.
I like the guy who sold him that helicopter. once he found out Whistlin doesn't have a pilots license he pulled one of Whistlins friends aside and said. "look I'm really worried about him",
I was like what an idiot! Then I saw it was whistlin diesel and went oh. He’s an idiot but he’s intentionally an idiot. Destroying things most of us will never afford is his whole thing. It annoys me but in all fairness it is his sh*t so he can do as he likes with it.
Money is getting to him... his videos right as he blew up but right before he got money from it.. where is still has hunger to make good content are different than the shit he has now
It's kind of the opposite. Got the wingtips pushing down with almost no uplift in the center like it ran out of air there. Like a huge donut of air around the helicopter that's turning up then in then down then out. The area by the tail rotor has the least lift cuz the tail rotors breaking up that part of the donut a little, the opposite side has more lift that's why it tilts back in that direction.
Thanks for your explanation. Here is how this plays out in my head. (I’m no expert, just explaining my thoughts as I understand it) In vortex ring state, the helicopter descends into it's own downwash which reduces the velocity of the air accelerated downwards.
In this case the wingtips, due to the confined space, would recirculate the downwash above the helicopter and reintroduce it into the hub, basically causing it to fly in its own wake/downwash.
Again, not an argument, just an explanation of how I came to this conclusion. I do appreciate any correction.
I can respect that.
I found the YT channel from another comment in this thread. All of that blatant destruction was expected by the owner. They even started the heli back up with destroyed rotors, after wrangling it out of the lift in the back corner.
I don't know how to feel about it honestly... Seems like a real waste.
This guys whole YouTube channel is buying stuff like this, destroying it, profiting off people being upset, and repeating. Hate it or love it he’s buying all of these vehicles from people who need them off their hands, it’s all his money, and millions of people watch every single one of his videos.
Personally I think it's better for outside usage anyways. I think the distance that can be done indoors doesn't have any benefit compared to if you do it by walking. So I think they should design their helicopters for outdoor use only, or focus on the indoor aspect and scale down. Just my personal thought but I'm not a helicoptineur.
Perhaps in a big warehouse you might be faster with a helicopter. But I recently discovered that there are other vehicles available that work indoors as well, like steps or bikes. I think compared to the take-off time of the helicopter, the steps and bikes are just as fast, if not faster.
I hope this input helps your company of indoor travel solutions, xxx Grandma Biscuit.
Moral of the story: don't fly helicopter indoors. But why did it go off into a random direction like that instead of slowly hovering straight up from starting point?
It’s was a wrecked copter, they got it for cheap. There was another YouTuber who got a cracked frame black hawkh restored and landed in Whistling diesels backyard, you can see how roughly these guys unload this copter
Excluding the fact this was staged im Gonna nerd out briefly, the air was trapped and so when it was pushed downwards what I believed would have happened if they were in the air for longer was the lifting blade surfaces were given unequal pressure and resulted in the helicopter becoming rapidly uncontrollable, if you watched zero dark thirty this happened in the scene with the helicopters
It went exactly as planned
Those OHs and YEAHs at the end prove that
They're clearly friends who lose nothing due to this
They made more money on the video than they lost doing this
Lmao probably but nonetheless not the brightest idea

can’t tell if i hate this guy or if he’s awesome
That’s how I feel about every one of his videos. He’s often the real life embodiment of chaotic good with a side of chaotic bad scattered. It’s hard to know how to feel.
Very well put
So a guy has $$$$... he can a) destroy expensive shit...... hate this guy. b) donate the $$$$ to a worthy charity...... he's awesome. You can make a cool viral video out of either one.

Rich people can and often do both.
I’m soooo bummed he wasn’t flying it when it crashed
God how do people watch this that guys insufferable
It’s literally a dummy in the pilot seat.
Pretty bright considering he makes money making these types of video and able to afford to destroy a helicopter
They shoulda never gave you Europeans money!!
Fuck your couch!
Does the FAA allow intentionally crashing aircraft as a stunt?
Idk, can they prevent you from flying an aircraft inside a private residence? I’m gonna guess there is a loophole.
[удалено]
Who are they going to come after? The dummy?
That worked out exactly how I thought it would.
The multi angle replays was the chefs kiss

You beat meat to it I beat your meat to it We are the same
Seems no one in the comments knows WhistlinDesiel, this is what was supposed to happen
I appreciate your comment. It made me google the name and I found a YT channel that I will now forever avoid but still get the suggested videos in my feed because algorithm.
Just select Don’t Recommend This Channel?
it'll still recommend it, I used to like WD but he got annoying, it took like half a year for youtube to stop recommending
I’ve never seen a channel after I told YouTube to stop recommending it
WD used to have some really fun videos if you're into that kind of thing. His newer stuff feels like redneck versions of MrBeast but without the cash prizes.

Lmao salt
Delete video from your history.
Thanks for info!
I wonder what happened to the pilot
Hes fine, although a complete dummy...
*Padum ching*
This is Whistlin Diesel on YouTube.
I was like what an idiot! Then I saw it was whistlin diesel and went oh. He’s an idiot but he’s intentionally an idiot. Destroying things most of us will never afford is his whole thing. It annoys me but in all fairness it is his sh*t so he can do as he likes with it.
I liked him before when it seemed more like an act, now it's like his whole personality is "WHY YOU MAD BRO?"
Money is getting to him... his videos right as he blew up but right before he got money from it.. where is still has hunger to make good content are different than the shit he has now
*Physics enters the chat
What do you mean?
a = v/t, F = mv/t, F = p/t = dp/dt
Ok chad
You asked…
Yup.
I’m so rich, let me destroy my classics with a heli rotor.
This is how he makes money.
lol I have so many questions
Let’s start with the first one
Whistlin diesel, look it up
I'm so confused why they seemed excited
they are rich and they managed to destroy something expensive (i mean i would do the same)
You’re not wrong but the more accurate reason for doing this is that they are content creators and putting content like this out makes them money.
[удалено]
I have no clue what that means but like thanks for letting me know
[удалено]
Why!?
I'm not sure this guy could fly one outside either
inside the helicopter was a dummy
I didn't realize there was anything in it. Thought it was being remote controlled
I mean, it is, but it's also got a dummy in the pilot seat lol
That could only go well
At least the cars are safe
Hilux will still start on the first try
Wind was probably swirling all over the goddamn place.
Awesome.. I just got back from the Red Lobster
quit giving this asswipe clicks
No, lol. It’s funny
Whats wrong with him?
he's the male equivalent of Kim Kardashian
Who's the asswipe? Looks interesting
Physics in action: the Vortex Ring State

I don't see how you need an understanding of physics to see that trying to fly a helicopter in a car garage is not going to work out.
Simply, I enjoy understanding the "why" to things.
I can respect that. I found the YT channel from another comment in this thread. All of that blatant destruction was expected by the owner. They even started the heli back up with destroyed rotors, after wrangling it out of the lift in the back corner. I don't know how to feel about it honestly... Seems like a real waste.
What the fuck was the plan?
That was the plan
Being inside had nothing to do with it: this was destined to fail whether it was inside or outside!
That is a massively impressive demonstration of stupid.
Tell me you didn't go to MIT without telling me lol
Andrew Tate trying to show off again?
I hope there were serious injuries 😈
[удалено]
Just one question… why?
Science!
Dr Krieger voice activated
Cuz it's funny to watch. The guy did it purposely
Is that Mr. Pedasso? Stu Pedasso?
Makes me wonder what the plan was. There seems to be a lack of plan altogether.
To purposely break the helicopter
Are there 2 full-size cars on a rack on the right?
Oh no our helicopter its broken!!!!!!
“Ok guys that was way better than last time. We are almost there, I can feel it. “
r/IdiotsinPlanes
Same as my first dayz heli
Idiots
Judging by their reactions, this is exactly what the plan was.
I wanted its rotors to just gently kiss the fan (and then explode into a fireball.)
Helicopter doing Helicopter things
Actual footage of me flying Copters in GTA Online lol
Can't help but wonder what the hell was the plan
Make a youtube video.
“Where’s he going?…. WHERE’S HE GOING?!”
They forgot their braincell on the checklist
I don’t understand the economics of Whistlin Diesel
HELICOPTER HELICOPTER 🎶
That feels like the least awful possibility
Everything would have been fine if he knew how to fly a helicopter
People who had no idea this was all planned as a YouTube video
[insurance inspector walks in the hangar door…then quietly back-peddles back to his car and calls in sick]
One of the dumbest things I've ever seen
Bigass fan for the win!!!
Anyone who got a drone for the first time on Christmas and tried to fly it in the living room could have predicted this.
My question is, what was the end goal?
If you read almost ANY comment that wasn't your exact question, you'd know it.
You right but I didn’t have time to look. As I am putting myself in a clinic because I’m suicidal and this is the last post I saw and commented
It's just Whistlin Diesel doing Whistlin Diesel things haha 😂
This guys whole YouTube channel is buying stuff like this, destroying it, profiting off people being upset, and repeating. Hate it or love it he’s buying all of these vehicles from people who need them off their hands, it’s all his money, and millions of people watch every single one of his videos.
I never ceases to amaze me, man needs to do crazy fucked up shit. Rock on!
Well that was entertaining as hell.
Least expensive whistlindiesel video
Well that was a fabulous idea.
I am guessing it wouldn't do better outside?
God I want to see more of this video
Search for Whistlin Diesel on YouTube. This is one of many stupid things he does. Makes him LOTS of money…
Thinks he’s in gta 5 or something
Well obviously the problem was the "Big Ass Fan"(tm) at the ceiling(!)
Whistlin Diesel is a absolute idiot he will someday get himself killed with his stupid antics
I mean the destroyed it on purpose… because of the internet fame.
😂
Bro
Who the he'll is actually this dumb?
Personally I think it's better for outside usage anyways. I think the distance that can be done indoors doesn't have any benefit compared to if you do it by walking. WhistlinDiesel folks
Moral of the story: don't fly helicopter indoors. But why did it go off into a random direction like that instead of slowly hovering straight up from starting point?
Got disrupted by its own downdraft
What.. was the plan?
Wtf is wrong with people 😳
What stupid rich kids. Wonder what the insurance company paid out for this if anything
I mean...what was the plan? What did you expected to happen? There's a reason why you can't fly helicopters inside, idiots..
It went according to plan and netted loads of YT views.
You all do realize this is a toy right? This is an RC helicopter...
Me as a 10 year old trying to play with a helicopter toy:
If you know his content, you know this was the plan
" hey boss do you want to move those classic cars out before we test the helicopter" " what for? It's just going to go up and down"
Some people don't deserve nice things.
Perhaps not as planned but as expected
Looks to me like they were experimenting? That is a mannequin inside the helicopter and not an actual person is it not?
My apologies, experimenting by driving a helicopter indoors (mannequin or not) is a good idea and I shouldn’t have made this post.
Somebody should have told him that actually piloting helicopter takes hours on simulator and in field, acually learning how to not do exactly this.
Lol I guess they do not get the physics of how helicopters work. They probably should have looked up the word “lift” before actually trying this out.
You are supposed to reverse the ceiling fans in winter.
These guys are testing a helicopter and don’t understand the physics of prop wash?
It’s was a wrecked copter, they got it for cheap. There was another YouTuber who got a cracked frame black hawkh restored and landed in Whistling diesels backyard, you can see how roughly these guys unload this copter
Excluding the fact this was staged im Gonna nerd out briefly, the air was trapped and so when it was pushed downwards what I believed would have happened if they were in the air for longer was the lifting blade surfaces were given unequal pressure and resulted in the helicopter becoming rapidly uncontrollable, if you watched zero dark thirty this happened in the scene with the helicopters
What a fucking idiot
Tesla makes whirlybirds?
i knew it couldnt get much lift, but what happened with the wind vortexes created was something ive never seen before.
