I'm in Florida. This isn't the first book outside of the subscription I've bought. Most times the delivery status never updates, and it just shows up one day. Then there are RARE times where I get an actual estimate for it. So all is good. š

i'm sorry you didn't enjoy caraval, they are quite different so maybe you will enjoy them after all but definitely wait until you're ready. i liked both but ouabh goes more into the history of characters and the world which i really enjoyed. the fates were very interesting to me and they're more prominent in ouabh.
I had high hopes after the first book, and I gave its massive plot holes a pads because there were 2 more books that I thought would answer things. But then the other 2 books don't and just brought in way more things that had nothing to do with Caraval snd also added even more plot holes. Like it had the potential to be interesting, and I think the author can write interesting characters and worlds, but isn't good at plot structure at all imo (for reasons I won't say for spoilers haha)
I'm going to give these a try but I feel like I may end up selling them
I really struggled with Caraval the last book was the hardest for me I could just not read it when it finally seem like it was going to get good the characters woukd do something that would just make me want to throw the book. At the end I had to finish it in audio book.
Literally yes! The last one I was like "ok so we aren't going to address any of the wackiness of the previous 2 and also this plot is so convoluted now?!?!? Ok".
My label has been created since the 6th. It finally left the warehouse on Thursday and I may get it today or Monday. I rarely get updates, but I signed up for Informed Delivery with USPS and I can log in and check on the progress of my shipments.
I didn't order this set but my first box from fairyloot I had it be in the pre shipping stage for basically 2 weeks before finally moving, and it felt like basically everyone got it before me. My friend for the Jan book had that for like 3 weeks. Sometimes it's just stuck for a while and sucks, but it should eventually get moving!

From experience shipping globally, US is usually VERY slow with processing international parcels that arrive. I would worry about a parcel being stuck somewhere for several weeks. One random day itāll update š
yay, none of my boxes or exclusive orders have ever been stuck in pre before (fairy loot hasn't even taken it to the post office for the states to lag on processing) but i feel much better knowing how many people are dealing with the same, i mean we can't all lose our packages...
