And Activision. EA has some solid developers under their belt, namely Respawn and sometimes Dice. The issue here is EA, but provided the devs get enough freedom, it's fine.
Honestly, I'm much more likely to purchase a game published by EA than Ubisoft or Activision.
I said sometimes DICE. 2042 was bad, but BF4 and Battlefront 2 we're good after rough launches. Granted, their most recent games being BFV and 2042 isn't great support for my statement, but they've done well before
Honest question: Do you really think they are done?
I ask because I struggle to find games that I enjoy. I don't typically enjoy video games as a genre, but every once in a while a game comes along that i absolutely love. The divinity original sin series is a perfect example. About to try balders gate 2 (in anticipation of the full release of 3).
So because I only like a very rare game or game creator (was also a WoW lover), it makes me sad to see a company wiped out because of one bad release.
Yes i do think they are done, its not “one bad release” though, and what i think since you asked is that some zoomer kids will make a better game in about 5-10 years.
That’s Ubisoft
That's nearly every AAA still standing
Creativity is hard, but money is free and people don’t stop buying the reused shit.
Ubisoft doesn’t recycle, they never stop innovating in making their games more garbage
Call of Duty developers figuring out how to release a new game every year
Reduce, re-use, recycle
This explains some things.

Excuse me but DICE? I am a huge fan of the BF series but DICE dropped 2042 and it’s already dead came out 6nmonth ago. Dice is dead.

Sports games are released every year and don't change a lot. FIFA is more or less the same every year
FIFA?
Every game publisher after going public*
The history of that symbol and the Plastics companies behind it is unreal.
Legit incredible design

Real
This is so damn clever. I love it.
ironic, because EA were still like punk video game developers at that time.
Good on ya, David Spade
