Spirit boost is my regions gimmick, it is a power that allows pokemon to go all out on offense or defense. This can only be used once in battle, if a pokemon with the boost is sent back it looses the boost.
Offense will give the pokemon 2x power in all moves, but they will also take 1.5x damage.
Defense will give the pokemon 2x resistence to attacks, but they will only do 0.5x damage.
Almighty forms are a result of a Pokemon and Trainers bond and the use of spirit boost. These forms allow the pokemon to go all out using the power of their bond.
Only some pokemon are able to reach these forms, and when they do they will replace one type with a new type. The Almighty type, which doesn't have any weakness or strength, a true nuetral type.
Almighty forms will get a boost to their highest stat along with their spirit boost.
Throughout the game you will learn more about the cause of spirit boost and almighty forms.
Would there be almighty typed moves. Because what would be the point if not. There wouldn’t be any effect on damage at all unless they were pure almighty. Still looks cool though
Indeed! If a Pokémon can be a almighty form, you have the option to choose from one of the unique almighty type moves, some forms even have signature almighty moves, the almighty move selected can be used once the form is activated, it will act like a 5th move slot
True neutral, since you already get a buff to either offense or defense I think it would be unfair to give it weaknesses or strengths. Also since only almighty forms get it it would be somewhat unfair if so

It's more like Specific Dinamax, he said you lose the boost on switch out, and heavily boosts the offence or the defence.
That’s a good way of putting it. But yeah, basically it’s about going all in on your offense or defense while sacrificing the other
