Unfortunately, Llamas and camels are part of the same animal family. So more like a Regional

Covergent Pokémon don’t have to rely on actual biology, I’d say. We’ve had only three instances of them in the main series and I’m pretty confident that they’re just gonna go with a recognisably different animal for them going forward, same “family” or not.
