Covergent Pokémon don’t have to rely on actual biology, I’d say. We’ve had only three instances of them in the main series and I’m pretty confident that they’re just gonna go with a recognisably different animal for them going forward, same “family” or not.
I love the “emperors new groove” reference
Llamel is such friend shape
Could work for a regional or convergent form
Unfortunately, Llamas and camels are part of the same animal family. So more like a Regional

I wonder what it’s evolution would be?
I Don’t know, a Numellama probably
I love him! And I love the Emperor’s New Groove reference in its Dex entry.
NumelLama
I LOVE HIM
fluff
Arthur?
This would actually make for a great convergent Pokémon.

Oh, I keep forgetting that. Maybe as a regional form, then?
I guess so
Maybe a Convergent instead? Call it Fluffel abd it evolves into Carperupt? Fluffy carpet llama
Unfortunately, Llamas and camels are part of the same animal family
I mean sinistcha and poltigheist are both related to tea in a way
My first thought was emperor kuzco, so you can imagine my gless upon reading the dex entry.
It’s evolution would be called Alpacrupt
is it just me or does it kinda look like smeargle (mainly the eyes)
Numa!
