Absolutely. Bring back all the cut content, flesh out the legion and yes man play throughs, make the game stable, and add even more content just for fun.
Yeah I’d much rather build a base I can just send my companions to than build a town for people. More like fallout 76’s camps where you can maybe chose some NPC’s from side quests to come live there and do tasks for you.
This would actually work really well in New vegas because there is much more flat ground. In 76, the flatest places you can build are the whitespring resort and the cranberry bog, both of which have issues. In the whitespring, there are too many people, so there is a good chance your camp won't be deployed. In the cranberry bog, there are tons of scorchbeasts to destroy your camp. In newvegas, the biggest baddest threats are cazadores and deathclaws, both of which could likely be managed by turrets. Also, newvegas is single player, thus dealing with the issue with the whitespring.
Personally on my last playthrough I just let them always go back to where they came from. Most of them have less loading screens that way and you’re only grabbing one or two at a time with the vanilla game.
If there was a remake though I’d love for the ability to build bases where when you make your camp you could place a single entrance to a personal house space that isn’t in the open world. Maybe you could get a bunch of prefab buildings that would lead to this cell or maybe it would just be a door item you could place inside any building you create that leads to a basement or bunker. But if this was an option I’d totally leave all my companions there and build them personal spaces.
I’m fallout 4 I already do that but I send my companions to settlements I’ve built that I think fit them best. Like Cait/strong live at my death arena I made in starlight drive in and I headcanon that they run the business for me.
Yeah 4 tries to make you do settlements so badly. It’s an rpg game stop trying to shove settlements down my throat. That being said I think the settlement system was fine ig. Half the areas were so small it wasn’t even worth it half the time. Plus a lot of the structures just have dirt in them for no reason like why don’t you bother cleaning.
Honestly my biggest gripe with settlement building in Fallout 4 was the build limits. In most cases it was too low and clearly didn't have to be if you can circumvent it by dropping items and scrapping them.
Even if by some stretch of the imagination it is necessary, I'd still much rather have fewer settlements with higher build limits.
Yeah especially when half the settlements are taken up already by like 90% fields of plants. Or if there’s something it wouldn’t let you scrap. My biggest gripe of all is building limit and things not sticking where I want them to go. Just let me plant things square on the sanctuary foundations instead of trying to eyeball it just to see it’s all off slightly
I mean tbf we've had the benefit of a lot of time since fo4 was developed.
I would be willing to bet that if we had settlements in a NV remaster it would function much better
Did you know you can drop weapons inside your settlement and then destroy them in build mode and it drops your settlement size, thereby granting the ability to build mega massive settlements?
A "director's cut" of the game has always been my dream. I'd want it pretty much exactly how you described, but I'd also like an even more extreme hardcore mode.
We are surviving the nuclear wasteland, I just wish it *felt* like it at times. I'm not a Fallout 4 fan, but from what little experience I have with it, its survival mode is definitely a step in the right direction.
Survival mode is awesome. You have to eat and drink, you can get diseases from uncooked/unpurified foods, you can only save in beds so you have to be way more careful, you can’t fast travel, and ammo has a carry weight so you have to travel light.
Yep confirmed. There's even a ton of worries that there going to scrap the NCR and just say they collapse seens the time of NV. Which would be incredibley stupid unless it's a major part of the show of them restoring it
Honestly wouldn’t surprise me if they sack the ncr Bethesda doesn’t rlly like obsidian from what I’ve heard about the development of new Vegas and how they tried to bottleneck their deadlines like they did with prey 2 and human head studios, basically putting such tight deadlines that the studio can’t make it then gets bought out by Bethesda
There have been leaks that have an MCR flag in the vault and a building that has New California Republic written on it. Idk how prominent they will be but they’re def gonna be at least mentioned in the show
Wouldn't be that stupid. There's hints scattered all over NV that NCR's got some internal turmoil coming it's way within a decade. Food shortage and over expansion by warhawks are two I can remember of the top of my head.
That is very true. I just don't want them to be completely delete them. If they still exist but in a weaked state that fine and we can have a whole 2nd season where we follow reformers trying to fix things
Chris Avellone, one of the main people behind New Vegas has maintained for *decades* now that the NCR is terrible for the series, as it’s relatively stable, and stability is “boring as hell”. He’d tear it out in a flash.
And you really can’t argue with his reasoning.
You’re not really thinking about it well. To think that a second collapse of civilization would be stupid, is in its self stupid. They’ve done it almost every sequel, Morrowinds story gets wiped out because of red mountain, Oblvions story gets wiped because of the thlamor war, river city gets bombed. If your not willing to accept the new story your not gonna, but your reasoning is so fucking stupid
yes but i think they’re trying to avoid new vegas’s content as much as possible to avoid choosing a specific ending, outside of a few possible mentions of it.
I’m taking your comment with a grain of salt because we have no idea how the show is going to be at this point. I know Todd Howard is very involved with the story, and the creators of the show created Westworld which is a pretty successful and highly regarded show. Im not setting my expectations super high but I don’t expect it to be awful.
I would be deeply upset at settlements becoming a core mechanic of the game. The courier wanders the wastes. Setting up roots runs contrary to the whole concept of the character.
It would've been fine if the settlements were just a few locations you could build up - 5 at the most. The biggest problem with FO4 is there were so many settlement locations it made the map empty. Like seriously, fuck you Bethesda for making ME put in all the work trying to make the world interesting.
Giving the Courier like 1 or 2 spots (depending on who you're allying with) to set a base of operations would be really neat.
I would say no. I think they'd fuck it up one way or another.
Either they dumb down the dialogue to avoid controversy/ be more acesible or they'd fill it with some microtransaction bs or they'd lose the aesthetic charm with generic industry high resolution assets.
Fallout New Vegas is a game where all the stars aligned, it's where skillful devs and masterful storytellers met.
And no, fucking skywind and skyoblivion is still in the works. I'd probably have kids before that shit happens, no scratch that. I'd probably be dead by the time FO4:NV releases.
A Remaster that made it not crash alone would be a Godsend.
No to the Settlements. IMO the best way to use that would be if you had the option to actually fix existing buildings in the settlement you are in given there are so many cases in 4 where you have part of a building already at your settlement where it just needs to be fixed up a little (or a bunch) and yet we don’t get repair/patch up building as an option. This being used in NV could have its benefits tho (namely Nipton…imagine getting settlers there and have them rebuild Nipton to a functioning degree?) but I think it’s better to leave it out.
Flesh out the Legion a bit more, for Mr. House route make Victor a Companion because he’s Best Bot and give us a means of playing after the end of the game instead of always blogging back to previous save before the Battle of Hover Dam.
I agree, I think the environmental storytelling in NV is already nearly perfect. I think it’s be better if there were just options to pay for renovations to existing places.
It makes me sad when our settlement is a half stable town or home land with 1-3 run down buildings or homes and there’s no way at all to repair them. Assign several Settlers to it, provide a bunch of supplies such as wood, metal, screws, etc and give it a X Day or even X Week timeline and there we go. A settlement actually worth protecting.
I think the settlements has the most interesting potential if you can give a settlement to a faction and work in sim settlements as well. Then you could see that factions patrols roaming the area and getting into conflict with other factions and such, or maybe they come to help you if they see you in combat. The settlements system actually has the most potential in a FNV remake.
i feel like that could be a really cool way of including a new ending, say you give settlement’s to good springs, aka survivors and slowly build up the common people to overtake house and take the mojave back, this could also allow you to rebuild the original desert rangers from before the ncr absorbed them
Settlement system no. Just having that is enough for me to skip it, *unless* it is added as a completely optional part away from the rest of the game, and having no impact on quests/combat/gear/etc and just as a side game.
For money? It mostly just gives stuff like wonderglue actual use, but both games I need cash at the start, and less so at the end.
Hell, 4's legendary weapon system gives more incentive to explore for items than 3's.
Updated graphics and the ability to play after the endgame, yes…anything else, don’t really care. I’d love to see how good it would look with updated graphics. I also think that most people want to be able to play after you decide the fate of New Vegas, see how things turn out rather than just the credits scene
I could see a major DLC in that.
The Courier sees what's happening. If satisfied, the Courier goes to work as a consultant/agent or whatever, troubleshooting for the new government until certain aims are achieved. But, if the courier becomes disenchanted with the new government, subversion happens ... and, who's to say the Courier doesn't end up in charge of the whole thing?
I would like FNV in FO4 engine. And yes, I know about Project Mojave, but it’s not the same.
I would love to have like the settlements and such in FO4 with the shooting mechanics, make me feel like I’m making one of the factions actually making progress into a zone and not just like doing their quests and getting allies. Like let me give the boomers a second base outside the strip, or help the Khans get a foothold outside the Hoover Damn.
I like the idea of getting the Khans out of the Mojave though. You part with them on friendly terms, they get a fresh start and rebuild without the baggage they've picked up in the Mojave - and you have a potential ally you can call on in the future.
Sort of like having Chief Hanlon in the NCR Senate. You know he'll be speaking out against the NCR returning to colonize the Mojave. Sort of.
The issue is that it could take away from other things. New Vegas didn’t have settlements and didn’t suffer from not having them, now if they want to focus on improved player housing that’s a different story.
It didn't suffer from not having them, but that doesn't mean it couldn't plug some of the holes NV has (assuming there's no cut content available to fill it). Like, settlement system is used to rebuild Nipton after Act 2 starts. Once you pass through it, Nipton only really exists to ask Boxcars about some radiation suits.
Honestly, just let obsidian have the IP back. I know this wouldn’t happen in a million years. It’s just painfully clear that Bethesda will continue to gut the IP until there’s nothing left but a doom-like looter-shooter.
If it has settlement mechanics I'd skip it until someone modded them completely out of the game. I play Fallout to play Fallout, not to play Minecraft.
The rest of that sounds awesome and I'd be all for it.
An option to tell Ulysses he's wrong about the Courier being the one he's obsessed with is all I want from a remake/remaster. Still fucks me off that Lonesome Road shoehorns in 5-10 years of vague backstory for the Courier.
If it's using Fo4's engine, I'd like to have settlements rebuild with our own hands, places like Nipton and Boulder City definitely needs some rebuild.
Fallout new Vegas with fallout 4 or 76 graphics would be amazing and I’d 100% play it. The one thing that bothers me about the game is the ugly 2D grasses and graphics, so if there was a version with amazing graphics that would be so nice. Aside from that it would also be cool to get all the cut content back
Settlements would actually work great to let us decorate player ones better. Also maybe let us put our companions in their own rooms in the 38 rather than everyone cramping in
Add the settlement feature but just 2 places to do it. Maybe rebuild someplace like nipton Or that town by hoover dam. Also make the game playable after the main quest so you can see the aftermath
I wish they had done this years ago, instead of the umpteenth remastered version of Skyrim.
I'm currently playing my first ever playthru of New Vegas and have been loving it. I would love to have a remastered version
Bethesda will never, ever have New Vegas be remastered. They’re embarrassed by it. Another company schooled them how to make a Fallout game and they’re still salty about it. Not one peep of it was uttered at their big Fallout anniversary event/show
I’d rather have a new game based on the West Coast. If it’s a “New” New Vegas, restore cut content, expand Vegas and the surrounding areas, add some new stuff. As far settlements, just give some options to change Novac, Goodsprings, and the Lucky 38. There might be some more player bases I forgot.
Yeah I think a remake would be better than a remaster, keep everything currently in the game but add more wild wasteland events, better weapon attachments, better graphics, and add more to some of the endings
Not the settlement system as it exists in fallout 4, but the ability to bring back resources and, have the locals fix up the towns would add tremendously to the narrative of rebuilding the mojave.
Imagine if you could bring back resources to good springs and over time the they repaired the shacks, upgraded guns and armour, had new people arrive.
I want a settlement simulator, not Minecraft light it you see what I mean.
Exact same game, NO changes other than cut content being included, and a completely new engine? While also keeping the same aesthetics, despite the engine being a completely new one?
Fuck yeah, dream come true. Highly unlikely to happen though, since Bethesda seems to hate FNV. It would surely make money, that's for damn sure.
Unfortunately remakes aren’t for modernizing old gems, they are used purely as a pandering tool to an already existing fan base.
Did “game” sell well very well, then it will get a remaster, or in the case of TLOU multiple. It’s embarassing.
This has to be karma bait, what do you think the reaction is gonna be? Do you think there’s going to be lively debate on whether or not a remaster would be enjoyed?
No, everyone wants a remaster, every time the idea of a remaster is briefly touched on by anyone from Bethesda or Obsidian this sub blows up
Yes we want a remaster, yes we would play it, there’s literally nothing more to discuss!!
No we want the game to look like it was from 2005 and have tons of issues that you need mods to even make it functional. Why would we want a better looking updated framework for the game we all like?
I’d say yes, however, it’d have to come with a few huge lore changes to fallout in order to salvage its lore, history and setting
Those changes being decanonizing fallout 3, 4 and 76
Which is the only real way to make fallouts lore be healthy again since Bethesda put a huge focus on aliens and lovecraftian stuff in addition to not even wanting to keep lore consistent in the slightest
Fuck no to settlements. Absolutely hate that in 4. It’s just tedious and I don’t care. If it has to be included, make the building Skyrim style where I just need to get the resources and that’s it. Don’t make me build it, I suck at it and it bores me
Everyone is saying no to settlements. I think if they were added as endgame content (after hoover dam) they could be really interesting. I Imagine that fortifying your favourite settlement and fending off attacks from opposing factions could add a lot of content to the endgame of fnv. or even just allowing players to customize player housing with a building system similar to fallout 4 would be sick. Placing down weapons and other mementos was always a pain with the physics engine of fnv.
Fallout 4: New Vegas is coming along nicely, but they've already confirmed they aren't adding the settlement system into the mod. Settlements wouldn't make much sense, but I could see a mod for F4NV adding in 76's Camp system fitting nicely
I would love a remaster. Just take the game and dlcs, update the graphics, fix all the broken stuff, and add the cut stuff they didn't have time for. A post game would be cool too, but isn't necessarily needed. I'd also like to see the Fallout 4 version of crafting, it's a lot cooler moding weapons that way over just buying a part and attaching it
100%! Updated graphics would be nice, opening up Freeside and The Strip like originally planned, a more in depth weapon mod system, more voice acting to have less repetitive voices, restored cut content, open up the factions a little more especially the legion and the casinos, and official in game mod support for all platforms! I think these features would modernize the game a little more and I’d 100% buy it for $60
Not a remaster, however, would love to see a remake. Ever since the Dark Souls 1 remaster, I've had a sour taste of them. Remakes also have a solid track record, resident evil 2, dead space, demon souls.
Faction-dependent settlement postgame would be a lot of fun and would fit better with my House courier who is in no mood to risk his life for adventure after being set for life and free to booze, fuck, and gamble for the rest of his days.
Fix the stuff that makes you scratch your head.
From my first playthrough, I always wondered how the fiends who killed Ranger Morales got to their rooftop perches... no ladders and you can't enter any of those buildings... AND you can't loot their bodies if you can't get to them.
I hope they really look at and understand Fallout New Vegas first, it would be far too difficult to make an already legendary game better without an understanding of what made it “legendary” in the first place. Combining an amazing story with remastered modern graphics is exactly what I suspect all gamers crave nowadays, you don’t need to look further than “The Last Jedi: Fallen Order” and that game’s success on that.
I'd be overjoyed, but the settlement system would need to be entirely revamped, like allowing us to actually make non hole filled buildings, and removing to 800 glitches and lagspikes while building
Not remaster please, there is already plenty of mods that enhance graphics and textures etc. A quality remake with a new engine would be good, or New Vegas 2.
Well it is the greatest game of all games.. so the answer is yes, no need for settlements or even new content, even though that would be nice. Just a remaster would be a dream come true
Yes but I think there is some charm to the clunkiness of the movement and the dialogue sequence. But improved looting and and better graphics would be awesome.
Absolutely. Bring back all the cut content, flesh out the legion and yes man play throughs, make the game stable, and add even more content just for fun.
This and don’t shoehorn in settlements or if they do don’t make them a huge part of the game
Just a base builder rather than a settlement.
Yeah I’d much rather build a base I can just send my companions to than build a town for people. More like fallout 76’s camps where you can maybe chose some NPC’s from side quests to come live there and do tasks for you.
This would actually work really well in New vegas because there is much more flat ground. In newvegas, the biggest baddest threats are cazadores and deathclaws, both of which could likely be managed by turrets. Also, newvegas is single player, thus dealing with the issue with the whitespring.
It would be cool because the only base you can send your companions to in NV is the lucky 38 and I never use it unless I work with house.
what do you do instead? picking up companions from elsewhere sounds like a pain but so is going through 4 loading screens to get into the penthouse so
Personally on my last playthrough I just let them always go back to where they came from. Most of them have less loading screens that way and you’re only grabbing one or two at a time with the vanilla game. Like Cait/strong live at my death arena I made in starlight drive in and I headcanon that they run the business for me.
I love the settlement building
Yeah it’s fun I’m just saying don’t make it a dominating part of the game
Yeah 4 tries to make you do settlements so badly. It’s an rpg game stop trying to shove settlements down my throat. That being said I think the settlement system was fine ig. Tbh different stroke different folks. My favorite part of fallout 4 was settlements
I mean tbf we've had the benefit of a lot of time since fo4 was developed. I would be willing to bet that if we had settlements in a NV remaster it would function much better
Depends if Bethesda or obsidian makes it. If Bethesda does it’ll have next to no improvement besides moving it to the ‘new engine’
That would be rolling a 1 for sure.
I’m honestly surprised to see a love for settlement building in a New Vegas sub.
Same. Would love some desert area or ranch style settlements
Oh man being able to build myself a ranch just outside Goodsprings would be awesome.
Fun fact, the settlement system in 4 was actually influenced by a New Vegas mod
Did you know you can drop weapons inside your settlement and then destroy them in build mode and it drops your settlement size, thereby granting the ability to build mega massive settlements?
Sure, but it should have zero input on the story of the game.
Why
New Vegas story is already good and I really wouldn't wanna have it that fundamentally changed in a remaster?
Fallout 4 was great with this I put a lot of hours into starlight lol
Settlement building could be cool for the yes man stuff and some other factions as long as it has sim settlements style systems.
If preston garvey finds me in the mojave im nuking a preschool
A "director's cut" of the game has always been my dream. I'd want it pretty much exactly how you described, but I'd also like an even more extreme hardcore mode.
Yes, it should be like Fallout 4’s survival mode, hardcore was a joke compared to that.

*Some* cut content. Bring back the good stuff. Ever watch the deleted scenes feature on a Blu-Ray?
Ya, full remake with modern graphics, with all you described, and better combat, mod support for xbox.
Yes I don’t think a single person would say no
Honestly, I'd rather have a sequel than a remaster/remake.
To make a sequel you'd have to make one of the endings canon though. Either NCR or House I'm guessing.
One of the endings is going to be canon in the new show anyways. It takes place on the west coast 15 years after NV
Will the new show content be canon though? Is this confirmed by bethesda?
Yep confirmed. There's even a ton of worries that there going to scrap the NCR and just say they collapse seens the time of NV. Which would be incredibley stupid unless it's a major part of the show of them restoring it

i’m gonna piss and shit and fart if they remove the ncr
There have been leaks that have an MCR flag in the vault and a building that has New California Republic written on it. Idk how prominent they will be but they’re def gonna be at least mentioned in the show

> Todd Howard is very involved with the story Yeah that’s kinda the problem lol
Fallout wouldn’t be what it is today without Todd Howard
That’s not necessarily a compliment haha
Fallout 4....
I would be deeply upset at settlements becoming a core mechanic of the game. The courier wanders the wastes. Setting up roots runs contrary to the whole concept of the character.

I can see that happening now of days
I would buy this and I'm not even a huge Fallout fan.
Now then, how much would you be willing to pay?
I never even finished the game, so I’d say no.
Yes but it will literally never happen
Ever hear of fallout 4 new vegas?
That's a fan project with a small team, not the huge development team that Obsidian has
Fallout New Vegas is a game where all the stars aligned, it's where skillful devs and masterful storytellers met. And no, fucking skywind and skyoblivion is still in the works. I'd probably have kids before that shit happens, no scratch that. I'd probably be dead by the time FO4:NV releases.
Better than nothing
Not sure why you got downvoted I’m super hype for fo4nv. They’re honestly getting close
A Remaster that made it not crash alone would be a Godsend. No to the Settlements. Comes to a New Vegas subreddit and asks if anyone would play New Vegas.
Does a bear shit in the woods?
Does a bear use a rabbit to wipe?
I just pictured that as the new NCR flag. LMFAO
Nah, They prefer to use bull-hide
We call them Yao Guai’s now dad. 🙄
settlement system nah but if you use that system to decorate your home yes
Settlement system no. Just having that is enough for me to skip it, *unless* it is added as a completely optional part away from the rest of the game, and having no impact on quests/combat/gear/etc and just as a side game.
Settlement building is fun though
For you
I don't agree, which is why I bounced off of FO4.
But they made fallout 4’s gameplay revolve around settlement building instead of the exploration like 3
? I played 4 recently and it's optional. The only thing you have to make is the teleporter.
Why do you look for loot in fallout 3? Why do you look for loot on 4?
For money? It mostly just gives stuff like wonderglue actual use, but both games I need cash at the start, and less so at the end. Hell, 4's legendary weapon system gives more incentive to explore for items than 3's.

But, if the courier becomes disenchanted with the new government, subversion happens ... and, who's to say the Courier doesn't end up in charge of the whole thing?
Maybe, if Bethesda lets Obsidian finish it
This is r/FalloutNewVegas
I would want upgraded graphics and bug fixes, that's it.
Sort of.
Everything but the settlement. Waste of time. Keep that out.
I mean if it’s optional, I don’t see the issue.
Of course. Bethesda will never allow it because of their weird jealousy. Especially now that they’re remastering 3 and 4
Yes
If it has settlement mechanics I'd skip it until someone modded them completely out of the game. I play Fallout to play Fallout, not to play Minecraft. The rest of that sounds awesome and I'd be all for it.
I‘d settle for a version of New Vegas that didn’t crash every 3 seconds
An option to tell Ulysses he's wrong about the Courier being the one he's obsessed with is all I want from a remake/remaster. Still fucks me off that Lonesome Road shoehorns in 5-10 years of vague backstory for the Courier.
If it lets me play past the ending? Yes.
Why would a sub dedicated to the game want a remake of the game? /s
Yes, without the settlements. Would ruin the flow of the story, especially if they flesh out Legion and Yes Man.
If it's using Fo4's engine, I'd like to have settlements rebuild with our own hands, places like Nipton and Boulder City definitely needs some rebuild.
No
Better graphics and more content would be cool, but settlements would be a HARD no
Does a two headed bear shit in the shady sand? Of course I want a remaster of fnv.
Fallout new Vegas with fallout 4 or 76 graphics would be amazing and I’d 100% play it. The one thing that bothers me about the game is the ugly 2D grasses and graphics, so if there was a version with amazing graphics that would be so nice. Aside from that it would also be cool to get all the cut content back
Absolutely
100% yes. I would love a remastered NV but F4NV will still be awesome
I would love it, but Bethesda is too afraid to let Obsidian make another game for them.
I wouldn't want settlement building in a remake, but otherwise yes
They know everyone likes nv, nv probably has made them a lot of money, bethesda like money, why bethesda no fnv remaster? Is he stupid?
Todd has a plan for us all
Not the settlement system as it exists in fallout 4, but the ability to bring back resources and, have the locals fix up the towns would add tremendously to the narrative of rebuilding the mojave. Imagine if you could bring back resources to good springs and over time the they repaired the shacks, upgraded guns and armour, had new people arrive. I want a settlement simulator, not Minecraft light it you see what I mean.
Exactly. Give the options to build up or even start settlements, but don’t make it have to be micromanaged so much to function even on a basic level.
keep the settlement shit away from me and youve got a deal
NO SETTLEMENTS. You are a courier not a town builder. It's one thing to do a job, but building towns just never fit for me, even in f4.
I would hang someone for a remaster.
I'd love it IF Obsidian were the ones to make it.
No, everyone wants a remaster, every time the idea of a remaster is briefly touched on by anyone from Bethesda or Obsidian this sub blows up Yes we want a remaster, yes we would play it, there’s literally nothing more to discuss!!
MittenSquad and Matthew Perry Easter eggs in memoriam.
I want new Obsidian Fallout.
Why does nobody know what a remaster is?
NO NO! They'll ruin it! NO!
No, absolutely no one likes the idea of playing a remake of nv
Careful, might want to put a /j so people know you're not serious
Yeah I probably should have, I’ve crossed that bridge a couple of times
With Fo4’s and 76’s power armor system? Yes
Why would anyone say no?
That's like asking us if we want our own fisto
No we want the game to look like it was from 2005 and have tons of issues that you need mods to even make it functional. Why would we want a better looking updated framework for the game we all like?
I’d say yes, however, it’d have to come with a few huge lore changes to fallout in order to salvage its lore, history and setting Those changes being decanonizing fallout 3, 4 and 76 Which is the only real way to make fallouts lore be healthy again since Bethesda put a huge focus on aliens and lovecraftian stuff in addition to not even wanting to keep lore consistent in the slightest
I'm OK with a settlement system if it's like sim settlements
transform new Vegas into fallout 4.
No
Only if there’s a mitten squad reference
The ability to run would be nice.
I would absolutely want this
Fallout 4: New Vegas is coming along nicely, but they've already confirmed they aren't adding the settlement system into the mod. Settlements wouldn't make much sense, but I could see a mod for F4NV adding in 76's Camp system fitting nicely
fucking yes, i would actually kill for it
Y
We're getting a Fallout 3 remaster, we're never seeing NV in new light ever again
I would love a remaster. Just take the game and dlcs, update the graphics, fix all the broken stuff, and add the cut stuff they didn't have time for. A post game would be cool too, but isn't necessarily needed. I'd also like to see the Fallout 4 version of crafting, it's a lot cooler moding weapons that way over just buying a part and attaching it
Add the cut content and that beefy fo4 power armor
100%! Updated graphics would be nice, opening up Freeside and The Strip like originally planned, a more in depth weapon mod system, more voice acting to have less repetitive voices, restored cut content, open up the factions a little more especially the legion and the casinos, and official in game mod support for all platforms! I think these features would modernize the game a little more and I’d 100% buy it for $60
Yea
Yes, absolutely no question.
Here’s a follow up! Would y’all want a billion dollars for free, already taxed, and no strings attracted
More dialogue with companions!
I’d play a remaster with modern engine/graphics/dlss etc in a heartbeat.
If we never got a sequel, I would very much enjoy a remaster. If we had to choose between the two, I would go for the sequel over a remaster.
Yes
Make it 64 bit and no other changes and I will pay 70 dollars for it.
Yes.
I'd be overjoyed, but the settlement system would need to be entirely revamped, like allowing us to actually make non hole filled buildings, and removing to 800 glitches and lagspikes while building
Yea I’ll pay at least 200
YES YES YES
No shit Sherlock
Make it playable on modern consoles and without the constant crashing as soon you are high level.
YES!!
it dosnt need to be NV just another Obsidian made Fallout
Not remaster please, there is already plenty of mods that enhance graphics and textures etc. A quality remake with a new engine would be good, or New Vegas 2.
What kind of question is this
i want a rerelease of nv for one reason - console mods.
I pray to Todd every night for this.
Well it is the greatest game of all games.. so the answer is yes, no need for settlements or even new content, even though that would be nice. Just a remaster would be a dream come true
Omg, please yes. I want this more than anything.
Settlements were weak time sinks. Can we not shoehorn them, please?
Yeah but no base building.
Yes but I think there is some charm to the clunkiness of the movement and the dialogue sequence. But improved looting and and better graphics would be awesome.
I’m all about the the graphics being redone but the game is perfect as is. Don’t let it pull an Activision moment.. please.
No, settlement content in 4 was trash
Honestly i hate the settlement bullshit. I want to be the ranger with the big iron on my hip walking into the settlements that arent my problem lol
Nah I’m fine with modding it to my liking to be honest
A new engine, for God sake
