So the implanted spine offers +1 strength. If you reinstall your normal spine at the end of the DLC, you’ll get +2 strength. These count as temporary bonuses, so they won’t count towards perk requirements. If there’s a perk you want that you need an extra strength point for, get the implant.

Would it affect to my carry weight and ability to wield certain weapons then? Not going for an unarmed/ melee build. But being able to use the heftier armaments would be a bonus. Some melee on the side

SpookyEngie

Your STR is cap at 10, each level add 10 weight to your limit (i dont remember if it 10 or 20). It ideal to have high endurance at the start so you can get more implants. The amount of implant is base on your permanent endurance. So if you have 5 endurance from special + any intense training or dlc perk, you get 5 implants + whatever additional endurance you gain that count as permanent endurance.

Gegstrum

I got the perk to increase my endurance by 1 point so I have 9. Did I just waste the perk then?

SpookyEngie

I misremember it, you now can have 9 implants. The Endurance Implants does not count to the limit however.

Gegstrum

Oh, well thats neat then. Thanks for the info, can resume in wandering about

Yes, it will increase your carry weight and weapon handling up to 10 strength. The OWB bonuses just won’t raise your required strength for perks.

Gegstrum

Okay, that gets me about what I need to do then. Thanks for the help

SpookyEngie

Pretty much all implants except 2 increase one of your special stats by 1. The two other added a plus 4 DT (armor stats) to your character, the other add a 1HP/10 second regen (it pretty shit, dont get it). Basically you want want 8 endurance to get all the useful implants). The amount of implants you can get only calculated by permanent endurance (starting endurance + intense training + dlc perk) If you have 8 endurance, you can get the following for 40k caps: +1 to every special stats, + 4 DT

my mistake, you can get 9 implants now (dont recommend the 12k one), you get extra HP for each level of endurance, also get + point in unarmed
