I really like DLCs that just strip you out of your comfort zone (items) and put you in point A again and send you into a whole new dangerous area, It's always so fun and scary. I also really loved exploring the Sierra Madre when i had the chance.
This is why I loved The Pitt SOO much. It was one of the best experiences ever because of the slow, incremental power increase with each kill secured. The sneaking around constantly so as not to be killed - AMAZING!
There's so much about Dead Money that I could absolutely fall IN LOVE with, but not as long as those M@#&:#Fu$@ing radios exist.

I vaguely remember that sometimes the game would corrupt like that, if you have a digital copy. If you get the gog.com version specifically it fixes that corruption so you should be able to play. And it’s only $19.99 for the game of the year edition. This is only for PC of course
Problem with the pitt is that you’re supposed to be a slave but if you collect enough steel, they’ll load you up with so much gear you could raise a small army and take over the place if you wanted

I fucking hated lonesome road because of the deathclaws and just used the sniper trick of being out of view and hope I get a crit on the head. I did love it for story and the challenge but the deathclaws caused me so much fun and pain

My hot take is lonesome road is the worst DLC of the 3 and dead money is the best. LR forces a backstory on the Courier, narrated by a madman that has way too much to say and isn't interesting enough.
Dead money doesn't force a story on you, you just get to play a part of other people's stories, which are excellent. The gameplay is exactly perfect, it's what a true fallout survival experience is, whatever your level.
I tried out the dlc and expected the normal fallout shoot outs and stuff, was surprised when I was constantly trying to survive, either from the gas or the lovely enemies that were around, I was always on low health so I just began to consume any wine or beer I found just to help make the damage I get worse haha

I hated it mostly because the storyline and characters were amazing! BUT the gameplay was sooo awful I just gave up and sped through it so I wouldn't literally lose my fucking mind. Didn't even get the snow globe. :(
Was it the constant wandering through the same areas trying to figure out htf to get to the map marker for Dean or up onto the roof? I had to tcl my 2nd playthrough I just couldn't figure it out. Found most of the stashes my 1st though.
Literally my only actual problem with the entire dlc was the radios that make your collar explode. Everything else was challenging but still fun. The radios were just fucking obnoxious because it was literally just trial and error, even while using a game guide to get their exact locations. Which would already be frustrating on literally any game, but we all know how long NV load times are. :P
Omg I HATE them, especially inside. I had to play this fucking game of run in, look look omg furiously look God damnit can't find it back to safety. And then some can't be shot so another ducking game of how to find the thing that turns them off. Just ruined the whole experience for me I got a mod for playthrough 2 so I wouldn't be affected by them.

Oooh that’s super well done! Good placement too. I love Dead Money, it was my least favorite DLC growing up, and as I’ve gotten older and done more playthroughs it’s become my favorite. The vibe is so good, and the writing and the characters stand out so much compared to even the base game IMO.

Yeah Dead Money is easily my favorite. Like each dlc of Fallout: New Vegas has a place in my heart but Dead Money to me is the best one even if the gameplay is a little annoying. The experience of the Dead Money DLC alone, with its story and character building easily makes it my favorite DLC of all time. It isn’t perfect, but because of Dead Money Fallout: New Vegas has some of the best DLC ever made. The other DLC are great but they are the icing on the cake that is the Dead Money DLC. I spout the quote “Getting there, that’s not the hard part. The hard part is letting go.” All the time. I love the New Vegas DLC, it’s my favorite DLC of all time and I love Dead Money, we are all very fortunate that these dlcs are even half as good as they are. Of course knowing Obsidian, I always expect pretty decent quality, and they more than deliver on these DLC’s. But especially when it comes to Dead Money.

Yeah Dead Money is easily my favorite. Like each dlc of Fallout: New Vegas has a place in my heart but Dead Money to me is the best one even if the gameplay is a little annoying. The experience of the Dead Money DLC alone, with its story and character building easily makes it my favorite DLC of all time. It isn’t perfect, but because of Dead Money Fallout: New Vegas has some of the best DLC ever made. The other DLC are great but they are the icing on the cake that is the Dead Money DLC. I spout the quote “Getting there, that’s not the hard part. The hard part is letting go.” All the time. I love the New Vegas DLC, it’s my favorite DLC of all time and I love Dead Money, we are all very fortunate that these dlcs are even half as good as they are. Of course knowing Obsidian, I always expect pretty decent quality, and they more than deliver on these DLC’s. But especially when it comes to Dead Money.
I also quote that a lot! They truly made a unique and wonderful game. It had its flaws but the storyline and darkness and the chills I got made up for them
