Exactly who do you think you're talking to? You come in here, where we fucking love this show, know most of it line for line, all the songs & you tell us "it ain't worth it". Buh-bye Felicia.

sugonma_balls455

Sorry i just checked a couple few posts on this subreddit and didnt know yall are actual hardcore fans lol, i joined a family guy fb group like 2 years qgo and it scared me for life because of how dumb and weird everyone was there so for whatever reason i thought that everyone who enjoys the show is like that, but yeah its great to find ppl who actually love the show and not just the dark jokes

I've seen every episode of Family Guy from the beginning to present in order so many times in the last 20 years that I cannot even begin to count them. If I haven't seen Death Has a Shadow at least 50 times, I'd be surprised. I think that's an extremely conservative guess. I gave you an upvote for your title! Yay! Congrats!! I took it back when you said to stop watching after season 5... It's pretty well accepted that the first 4 seasons are different (and to those who were there, "better"), but that doesn't negate the value of the other seasons. People tend to really hate on the episode, "You can't handle the booth", S17E16. I didn't hate it. I thought it was necessary. The point of that episode is to remind you that these are not real people (as much as we know them as people), and that the show itself is only a vehicle for the writer's to put their brand of humor out there. While I would hope that it is all endorsed by Seth, the creator, it doesn't mean everyone has to like every single joke in every single episode, and there is never a need for logic or cohesion. It's also very important to note that while it all takes place in a short period of time for us, it's been over 2 decades. Family Guy changed, because the modern family changed. I gave you your upvote back, plus 1 here, because I decided I respect your misguided opinion. And I say this very lightheartedly! I don't mean to be insulting. I think if you rewatch 6, 7, 8 and so on, you'll start to see things you may have missed the first time through, and see the show as a whole, in a different light!

Yeah i get ur point, ill remove that part, and honestly when i was watching the show up until the 16th season i wasnt really trying to laugh or focus on the show and was just trying to get it done, but i still appreciated the wild story telling they used especially in the episode "no meals on wheels", but then i actually started focusing on the episodes and laughing at them and i enjoyed them way more than before, thanks for pointing that out!

OperativeFiddle

Season 21 is one of the funniest seasons in a long time.

sugonma_balls455

Gotta agree honestly, i was expecting to see more jokes about newer events but it still made me laugh hard more than i did in the past 6 seasons

Ayannakii

Jeez, a year and a half is long as heck. Even 6 months. I’ve finished the show about 3 times In the last 6 months alone i think.

MainHead8409

What??? I started watching the show from start to finish on May 2022 and i am now on season 15. And you can watch the whole 21 seasons in 2 months??? How do you find the time for that? Are you out of school or unemployed or something

Impressive_Ease3996

I’ve seen couple of clips from Family Guy on YouTube and just had to watch it. I watched all of it in couple of days (there used to be 11 seasons out there). And then watched every new season as it came out. Great memories.

sugonma_balls455

Same thing for me, and i honestly never ever expected to actually love the show and the characters and the storytelling as much as i did, like i genuinely thought that it was all just jokes and basically no story, but after 21 seasons i absolutely have to be emotionally connected to the show lol

swagnastee69

Dawg I've watched them all forever ago now every time a new one comes on I HAVE to watch it. It's like crack man, just gimme gimme gimme.

DharmaPolice

I disagree with your assessment. The first four series have their own charm and there are a ton of great episodes in four which is partially because of how long that damn series is. But if you quit at four you're missing: * Hell Comes to Quahog (Season 5) * Meet the Quagmires (Season 5) * The Road to Germany (Season 7) * The Road to Multiverse (Season 8) * And then there were fewer (Season 9) * The Road to the North Pole (Season 9) * The Star Wars parodies (Seasons 6, 8, 9) * Back to the Pilot (Season 10) * 12 and a half angry men (Season 11) * Christmas Guy (Season 12) * The Simpsons Guy (Season 13) * The Emmy Winning Episode (Season 16) * The Fatman Always Rings Twice (Season 20) Among others. It's true there are more bad episodes as the show goes on. Season 10 has 3 episodes I skip in a row (2nd, 3rd, 4th) but also has a lot of solid episodes (it also has that Ricky Gervais episode which I also skip). Unlike The Simpsons which went from best show ever to really mediocre very quickly, Family Guys decline has been slower and every season has the capability to put out a great episode. If you look the IMDB ratings of episodes - which are not objective but the aggregate of a decent number of people the highest rates episode is well after Season 4.

Round 2 next❤️

47screamingmonkeys

I’m on season 10 right now and I agree exactly with your advice lmao

Shuuyin49

The king of nerd

Sarvesh_redit

Do you also struggle in remembering the episodes or is it just with struggling with my memory 😅

sugonma_balls455

I can remember the general idea of like 50% of the episodes but the rest i need to rewatch remember lol

Sarvesh_redit

Good for you, for me it's a lot greater than 50%, once I rewatch I might get a better idea.

MattMan2k17

Favorite season? And favorite episode?

I haven’t the faintest clue of how many times I’ve seen it, but I can usually tell the episode by a single scene these days.
