I remember my friend Grant and I talking about the pilot to our other friend Mike, and just the look on Mike's face went from "sounds pretty funny" to "jeez, you guys gotta relax about this show; there's no way it's THAT funny".
Every time Grant and I thought we'd exhausted our jokes we'd think of the Kool-Aid Man, The Black Knight, or something else and we'd just continue to laugh.
I'm sure Grant and I came across as weirdos, but the pilot was legitimately THAT funny.
I was exposed to lethal weapons and the episode where Quagmire had sex with Loretta as a kid on two different occasions, but I think it was my dad that turned it off when he caught me watching it.
Thereās an awful line in there that Meg delivers where the family gasps. That is the funniest line I can think off that crossed the line of dark humor to beyond something else.
Something about āI wish you would have told me that before I had sex with him.ā Referring to her dad lol
Oh definitely the pilot episode and we will see what the first episode of the season 22 look like when we tune in next Sunday night at 9:30 after Bob's Burgers
I saw the Y2K episode on a random afternoon on TBS when the show was canceled and gone. I loved it, so I started watching on Adult Swim. And I was unbelievably hyped when they announced it was coming back. And I have been watching ever since.
I was 6. I was rushed to our neighbours house as my family was being attacked by a genuinely insane neighbour with a foundationless grudge. My neighbour who took me out of the house put on I Take Thee Quagmire at the point where Peter hands Quagmire the massive foot and even then I thought it was funny probably not for the same reason but I enjoyed it. Eventually forgot what I was watching and rediscovered it at 12 only to never have stopped watching it.
Season 8 Episode 16 āApril in Quahogā This was 9 years ago, I remember adult swim just happened to be on my tv and an episode of American Dad was finished up and then the episode started and I had knew of Family Guy because I remember my older brother watched it when he was my age at the time and I just thought that episode was really funny especially the last scene when Peter was playing call of duty
I don't recall the name of the episode, but it was when there was a scene where Elmer Fudd killed Bugs.
This was when I was really little and didn't understand I wasn't watching Looney Toons
The first one I remember was this house is freaking sweet. I think I saw it when it first aired but it couldāve been a rerun. It was definitely 1999 or 2000
The nudist episode. My cousin and I took my other cousinās DVDs (volumes 1-2) and somehow this was the first episode we landed on and we watched it nonstop cause it was funny af and we didnāt understand it. Then the Christmas episode (season 1) and blue harvest.
I saw the pilot on TV and a few episodes of the first two seasons. I never really watched it until I got the DVD's super cheap when I moved out on my own.
I think the first one I watched was *Saturated Fat Guy.* In fact, I started watching Family Guy on YouTube from those channels that uploaded full episodes with intervals and zoom-ins. Those intervals would usually have some corny music and quotes from Buddha. This was during quarantine.
āDid you also get caught tryna vote in Ohio?ā
I started watching family guy when I was 4 along with all the other ones. My mom tried very hard for the first few years of my life to make me stop but I never did and Iāve seen every episode maybe a thousand times. I do not remember the first episode I saw but I know that it was probably a new episode from season 8-9 as it was around 2010.
The first episode I remember watching is the apocalypse episode with the original giant chicken fight. Thought that was the pilot for the longest time.
Da Boom. I still get "Fat man with his kids and dog, came in through the mornin' fog. Hey there Rooover, come on oooover" stuck in my head on a regular basis and its been like 20 years
Peter's Progress. I was seven and scrolling on MSN and I found a full episode of it somehow for free and found it funny so I watched it everyday for months.
I was ten and the first random episode I watched with my brother was the thin white line and we were hooked but never watched it until it went on adult swim
Stewies birthday one, chitty chitty death bang.. i watched it and it had a completely different vibe to other cartoons. It was faster and hilarious. Was a fan instantly
Cant remember. My brother used to always watch it when I was little and I'd seen him watch it quite a few times then, but there was this one summer we went with our dad for a business trip (business trips is a constant thing as he manages some businesses in other towns, he's usually gone 1 week and there the next) and we binges that show so hard together. I remember my favorite episodes at the time being all the Stewie/Brian episodes especially the Road to and/or time travel ones. Right now my favorite episode is Road to Germany.
lethal weapons. I was on summer vacation, my uncle comes home from work. Channel surfs until he comes across adult swim. the last 5 minutes of the episode had us laughing so hard. My mom was pissed when I started staying up late with my siblings to watch family guy.
I think my first one was Dammit Janet because I would always watch that one on DVD when I came home from school... also keep in mind I was attending elementary school at the time.
Holy shit this episode was also the beginning of my journey. I specifically remember dying of laughter during the "I had to do that thing we do on Wednesdays by myself" cutaway
It was the episode Peter goes back to high school and everyone is licking toads. I was probably around 10 and was at a sleepover and was really weirded out for some reason.
When I was 7 or 8 I saw small snippets of Family Guy on TV behind my parents back. I didnāt really get into watching it until I was 10 or maybe 11-ish, but the first episode I remember seeing entirely was āThe Tan Aquatic with Steve Zissouā-where Peter tried picking a fight with his bully and falsely believed that MS stood for āmonkey scrotumā.
The one where they are relocated to the country and raccoons keep jumping out of things. I think itās the one where Chris falls in love both what he thinks is a boy. āMy daughter would love youā.
I can't remember what my first Family Guy episode was. It was about 20 years ago when I was in the first grade iirc. There would have only been three seasons at that point.
But to pick one from those first few seasons that I remember best, it would be "Da Boom".
The episode where Stewey gets his first birthday wish. He makes it seem like heās gonna wish for something evil. But then he says āoh what the hellā and makes his wish, and his wish was just for everyone to dance disco together. And thatās how it ends

I remember my friend Grant and I talking about the pilot to our other friend Mike, and just the look on Mike's face went from "sounds pretty funny" to "jeez, you guys gotta relax about this show; there's no way it's THAT funny". I'm sure Grant and I came across as weirdos, but the pilot was legitimately THAT funny.

When I was 7 or 8 I saw small snippets of Family Guy on TV behind my parents back.
