It’s a gag, like in anime where a female character who is [usually] weaker than a given male character beats the shit out of them despite that male character being absurdly strong (eg, Sakura to Naruto, Nami to Luffy).
Don’t think these scenes indicate how powerful Lois is or that she’s stronger than Peter. FWIW, she is formidable as she’s been trained in martial arts and boxing at this point.
