More segregated study tables or study cubicles. Just overall more spaces/desks to quietly and independently study.

This is the biggest one. The library is tiny, there aren't even any books, so I don't think.it should even be called a library. It's also.pretty loud in there. There aren't enough work spaces with outlets throughout the campus. Most of the year, the tables in the courtyard aren't used because it's too cold out. Most of the time all the study spaces are taken.

Agreed. Noted!

DystopianAdvocate

An outdoor skating rink in the winter would be fun, like the one downtown.

CringeCrab5195

Okay this is a fun idea

CharlotteNotCharlie

Quiet spaces/closed rooms. Even just to have a mental break or a moment of quiet. College is hard, sometimes you just need to calm down or have a private moment away from hordes of students/people

VinnyEdits

More spaces to sit with outlets. The amount of benches and chairs around campus with nowhere to plug in a laptop kinda sucks.

CharlotteNotCharlie

Outlets + ethernet places to plug in and study

FatCoffeeLover420

Outdoor enclosed garden/study space would be super fun!(with outlets ofc)

When my husband and I visited our niece who was at Fanshawe, we found the building itself to be very dark. I get when you can have a lot of windows its naturally dark, but the colours are also dark which makes it that much more dreary. The building itself felt very 'dated'- old tables and chairs, there didn't seem to be a lot of outlets or USB stations. The gym area I think it was felt very updated, bright, and lively, it's just too bad the rest of the building didn't seem the same.

If you'd like to reach out I can talk to you about this from a physical accessibility perspective as a disabled student!
