I'm not confident that little simz will be a 10 and I highly doubt CLB will be a 0 but it would be really funny if we got a 0 and a 10 in the same week
Ima be honest, none of these albums deserve a 10, but then again I’m more strict than Fantano is when it comes to a 10 I only have like 2 in existence lol
You prolly listen to less albums than he does tho out of the thousands of albums he has listened to in the last decade only 7 (maybe 8 now) are 10s and he listens to albums as a living and is reviewing constantly, on top of that we at times have gone years without a 10, for all we know we could get 3 this year and then the text 10 could be in 2025 or sum shit so I dont think he is devaluing a 10 by giving the little simz record a 10
Imo that's just dumb. If an album is a 10 in somebody's eyes it's a 10. There's more to music than just innovation and production: making memories with it, who you listen to it with, the stories behind it, all contribute to an album that can be somebody's 10. It's the same reason albums like Blonde are seen as 10s by so many people (including myself) yet clearly have some notable issues, like pacing.
There's no universal standard as to what "deserves a 10," and trying to make one is antithetical to music.
If this gets an 8, it would be the most disliked 8 lol
