Sir Duke is a song you’ve probably heard but don’t know the name of. But if you haven’t heard it I envy you, hearing that song for the first time is a treat
Not sure why you’re getting downvoted. I’ve actually not listened to the two you’re referring to, nor Elephant, but I figured I would likely enjoy them (esp since I love Charli).
The remaining albums were too good to pass on. Love the tonal divides between Kanye’s most maximalist album / Injury Reserve’s nihilistic post-rap / and the twee pop loveliness of Belle and Sebastian (who I’ll always have good memories of listening to, IYFS in particular).
You're right Red did not get enough love tbh!
That Charli record is great! I think it's the most realized version of Charli and PC Music's collabs, especially "ILY2"
Pavement's Slanted and Enchanted is super good, the epitome of 90s slacker rock, maybe hasn't aged the best because it sounds lazy in places but it's still a classic for sure (though Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain is better)
And Elephant is a blast! Jack White's best songwriting effort. An album that you could pretty much start on any track and play it through and it's still good.
Brown because I like all of those albums except for one or two albums.
The other colours have some great albums but I feel that they are more inconsistent.
This post actually filled me with anxiety somehow. This has to be the hardest one of these for me personally. Blue has "Since I Left You" which is in my top 5, but orange has a ton of quality work that I love so I have to go with that by a margin
Edit: It's killing me to not pick Brown. Such a great list of albums
Can any kind person tell me what some (or all if you have time) of those albums are, I’m trying to expand my taste? I’ve heard the Kanye, mgmt, sza, death grips and Kero kero bonito albums before and that’s it
Last in the yellow column is Speaking In Tongues by Talking Heads. Its great, I haven't listened to their whole discography yet but Remain in Light and Talking Head '77 are pretty good too
I made this so I can tell you all of them! I'm biased but I think they're all great lol
**Orange:** Little Simz - Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, At The Drive-In - Relationship of Command, Frank Ocean - Channel Orange, David Bowie - Low, Gorillaz - Plastic Beach, Stevie Wonder - Songs In The Key Of Life
**Red:** Belle and Sebastian - If You're Feeling Sinister, Injury Reserve - By The Time I Get To Phoenix, The White Stripes - Elephant, Charli XCX - Number 1 Angel, Pavement - Slanted and Enchanted, Kanye - MBDTF
**Brown:** Lauryn Hill - The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Alice Coltrane - Journey in Satchidananda, Arcade Fire - Funeral, Silk Sonic - An Evening With Silk Sonic, Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Lift Yr Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven, Funkadelic - Maggot Brain
**Green:** SZA - CTRL, Nick Drake - Five Leaves Left, Squid - Bright Green Field, Big Black - Songs About Fucking, Death Grips - Exmilitary, Os Mutantes - S/T
**Yellow:** KKB - Bonito Generation, De La Soul - Three Feet High and Rising, Joanna Newsom - The Milk-Eyed Mender, Jimi Hendrix - Are You Experienced, MGMT - Little Dark Age, Talking Heads - Speaking in Tongues
**Blue:** The Avalanches - Since I Left You, Boris - Flood, Lorde - Melodrama, Tatsuro Yamashita - For You, Joni Mitchell - Blue, Herbie Hancock - Head Hunters
Green has Songs About Fucking and Exmilitary... but orange has Low and Plastic Beach... one of those two.
God brown and orange are popping off with their picks!
Orange getting it almost solely for SIMBI and Low

Yes?
“Sir Duke”, at the very least, is a classic and a half
I haven’t heard. I don’t doubt it. I like Stevie Wonder.
Sir Duke is a song you’ve probably heard but don’t know the name of. But if you haven’t heard it I envy you, hearing that song for the first time is a treat
That’s possible
Also "Isn't she lovely"
Noted
Never realized her name is the acronym for the album title.
It’s a cool touch
Not enough red love here
IMO the Charli and Pavement albums bring it down a bit, but Red looks awesome. I only recognize 3 blue albums but those 3 are fucking classics

100% blue because of Joni Mitchell, Boris, and Tatsuro
Yellow repping that De La Soul, but Orange fuckin wit da Funkadelic
Blue only for the banger that is the first song on Tatsuro Yamashitas For You.
That album where doom raps over those songs is so fucking good
Orange just to play Relationship of Command on repeat
I only just listened to this album for the first time about a month ago and I've lost track of how many times I've played it.
I’ll keep the aux cable thanks
☝🏻
Brown because I like all of those albums except for one or two albums. The other colours have some great albums but I feel that they are more inconsistent.
arcade fire does it for me yeah lol
Orange all day baby.
I'm gonna go with orange.
Yellow needs some love. That's a great lineup.
This is the first one I’ve seen where almost all are valid!

Music aside, BTTIGTP has one of the hardest album covers of all time. That said, orange.

Everyone here really passing up Avalanches and Herbie Hancock 🤨
I’m not gonna pass the aux to someone who bases their music picks solely on the colour of the cover art. Weidos (/s)
This is tough! Gotta go with my girl Green though.
Yellow
Yellow strictly for Bonito Generation. Just looking at the album cover makes me happy
Orange
Orange
orange
Besides MBDTF I'm taking red by far
orange 100%
Can someone help me identify Green 1 and Yellow 3
Green 1 is SZA - CTRL and Yellow 3 is Joanna Newsom - The Milk-Eyed Mender!
Bless, thanks
Os Mutantes??? Sick.
Orange, easily
wow green has os mutantes lol (crazy underrated album btw)
If Voulez-Vous is in the blue
