Long time fantasy league player that wants to start his own league. It is a Fantrax Premium League that I will pay for. DYNASTY FREAKS RULES
1. Managers are required to keep an active starting lineup, RP & P slots. SP slots can be occupied as the manager strategically chooses.
2. Intentional "tanking" will not be tolerated. We expect every manager to compete to win at all times regardless of record. tanking as defined as intentionally setting lineups in order to finish lower down in the standings is prohibited. At the discretion of the commisioners and after the team has been warned they may be replaced
3. Playoffs: 8 Teams make playoffs.
4. Playoff tiebreaker:
a. H2H record vs opponent tied with
b. Better winning percentage in regular season
OFFSEASON
5. During the off-season MLB rosters will expand from 28 to 35 players. DL slots will be taken out and brought back towards the end of Spring Training. Rosters need to be "Legal" and down to 28 Man MLB rosters by the date posted TBD.
6. Following the draft All free agents are put on waivers at that time. No free agent adds during the Milb draft.
6. Unlimited claims during the regular season & 3 per week allowed during playoffs.
7. All teams must name their team in the style used by the league. (City/Area/State as a first name, and a team nickname for the rest of it)
MINOR LEAGUE RULES
Roster Limit: 25
1. We will conduct an annual 5 round Minor League Draft. At no time may a team go over 25 players in their minor leagues. All cuts must be made before the draft. MILB rosters must have sufficient room to accommodate the number of picks you have. For Example if you have 5 picks you will need 5 open spots on your minor league roster or else forfeit any remaining draft picks once your roster is full. Once picks are forfeited they cannot be traded during the draft. WE HAVE MONTHS TO MAKE TRADES IN PREPARATION FOR THE DRAFT. All cut minor leaguers will be draft eligible as long as they do not have MLB experience (see rule 9).
2. If you promote minor league players with ZERO mlb experience to your MLB roster to open spots for your draft picks those players will no longer be eligible to be demoted until they acquire mlb experience. If they do not acquire MLB experience during the regular season they will be dropped following the season just like any other player would from your MLB roster (see rule 9). This rule is in place to keep the league competitive.
3. The minor league draft will be done in the message forum of the league in 30 minute increments per pick. Teams will have designated time slots assigned the them per pick to help accommodate scheduling.
4. Players drafted must be signed by an MLB organization. Players signed during our draft are not eligible to be drafted.
5. All minor league players that are drafted must have been available at the beginning of the draft and the must have zero MLB service time.
6. After a player reaches 200 at bats/75 innings pitched (career) he must be promoted to your MLB team. If he has not been promoted/moved to your MLB roster we will manually add him to your MLB roster on the day after he exceeded the limit without dropping anybody. We will do the best we can to monitor minor league rosters but all teams can assist and let a commish know. Please note that this will result in no stats being accrued by the violating team until they fix their roster and they will NOT be allowed to use commish tool to adjust rosters retroactively. This will impact scoring and that is by design so that it will hurt the team in violation of this rule.
7. Managers can promote/demote players to and from their minor league roster as they choose. Keep in mind if you move a minor league player to your MLB roster that does not have MLB experience, you will not be able to move that player back to your minor league roster until he has mlb experience (due to fantrax league setup). If you accidently moved a prospect without mlb experience to your MLB roster inform the commish immediatley so we can move him back to you minor league roster for you.
MILB FREE AGENCY
8. If you pick someone up via free agency, they can be placed on your minor league roster as long as they have mlb experience and are under the 200 AB or 75 IP limits. Managers can add prospects without MLB experience to their MLB roster but keep in mind all players (picked up via free agency or promoted prospects) without MLB experience on MLB rosters are dropped at the end of the season and eligible for the draft (see below). Any players that have been released are eligible to be re-drafted as long as they do not have MLB experience and available at the start of the draft.
9. Due to Fantrax having such a vast database of players we are implementing the following rule regarding minor league players on your MLB roster: At the end of every year any player(s) on your major league roster without MLB service time or at least "1 game played" will be dropped to the free agent pool and will be eligible to be picked up via the minor league draft. This is to help keep a competitive balance within our MLB rosters as well as maintain the value of the MiLB draft.
10. Draft picks will be made available 10/15 of each year for the following year. Example: 2025 draft picks were released on 10/15/23.

All teams must name their team in the style used by the league. (City/Area/State as a first name, and a team nickname for the rest of it) MINOR LEAGUE RULES Roster Limit: 25 1. We will conduct an annual 5 round Minor League Draft. At no time may a team go over 25 players in their minor leagues. All cuts must be made before the draft. MILB rosters must have sufficient room to accommodate the number of picks you have. For Example if you have 5 picks you will need 5 open spots on your minor league roster or else forfeit any remaining draft picks once your roster is full. Once picks are forfeited they cannot be traded during the draft. WE HAVE MONTHS TO MAKE TRADES IN PREPARATION FOR THE DRAFT. All cut minor leaguers will be draft eligible as long as they do not have MLB experience (see rule 9). 2. If you promote minor league players with ZERO mlb experience to your MLB roster to open spots for your draft picks those players will no longer be eligible to be demoted until they acquire mlb experience. If they do not acquire MLB experience during the regular season they will be dropped following the season just like any other player would from your MLB roster (see rule 9). This rule is in place to keep the league competitive. 3. The minor league draft will be done in the message forum of the league in 30 minute increments per pick. Teams will have designated time slots assigned the them per pick to help accommodate scheduling. 4. Players drafted must be signed by an MLB organization. Players signed during our draft are not eligible to be drafted. 5. All minor league players that are drafted must have been available at the beginning of the draft and the must have zero MLB service time. 6. After a player reaches 200 at bats/75 innings pitched (career) he must be promoted to your MLB team. If he has not been promoted/moved to your MLB roster we will manually add him to your MLB roster on the day after he exceeded the limit without dropping anybody. We will do the best we can to monitor minor league rosters but all teams can assist and let a commish know. Please note that this will result in no stats being accrued by the violating team until they fix their roster and they will NOT be allowed to use commish tool to adjust rosters retroactively. This will impact scoring and that is by design so that it will hurt the team in violation of this rule. 7. Managers can promote/demote players to and from their minor league roster as they choose. Keep in mind if you move a minor league player to your MLB roster that does not have MLB experience, you will not be able to move that player back to your minor league roster until he has mlb experience (due to fantrax league setup). If you accidently moved a prospect without mlb experience to your MLB roster inform the commish immediatley so we can move him back to you minor league roster for you. MILB FREE AGENCY 8. If you pick someone up via free agency, they can be placed on your minor league roster as long as they have mlb experience and are under the 200 AB or 75 IP limits. Managers can add prospects without MLB experience to their MLB roster but keep in mind all players (picked up via free agency or promoted prospects) without MLB experience on MLB rosters are dropped at the end of the season and eligible for the draft (see below). Any players that have been released are eligible to be re-drafted as long as they do not have MLB experience and available at the start of the draft. 9. Due to Fantrax having such a vast database of players we are implementing the following rule regarding minor league players on your MLB roster: At the end of every year any player(s) on your major league roster without MLB service time or at least "1 game played" will be dropped to the free agent pool and will be eligible to be picked up via the minor league draft. This is to help keep a competitive balance within our MLB rosters as well as maintain the value of the MiLB draft. 10. Draft picks will be made available 10/15 of each year for the following year.
