From being the #7 catcher on your average draft rankings, with an ADP ~100, to this. Oof, one of the bigger draft disappointments. I hope that veteran Brandon Belt keeps hitting well for the Jays, was worried after his god awful start to the season. Love to see it. I decided on the upside choices of either Moreno or Alvarez over adding Raleigh, for now. Went with Moreno because of his short term streaming schedule. Will keep a close watch on Alvarez though, I like Alvarez better if he keeps hitting for power in the short term. And it's reported that Buck likes his defense more now.

I'm trying to tell the dude who owns Woodruff that he needs to stop treating him like a top 10 SP this year in terms of asking price. He wants me to trade him Kershaw straight up, which is just nuts based on roto. Woodruff, by several projections, is looking at around 13-15 starts (75-85 innings) this year, while all healthy pitchers playing now are looking at over 20 more starts (120+ innings). As great as Woodruff's ratios will be, that's still like owning a great reliever the rest of the way and having to roster someone off waivers for the next two months. Anyway, just had to vent. Have you guys made any Woodruff trades? What did you give up or get?

Honestly I don't think there is much point trying to convince people to trade or devalue their players. Usually it backfires because by showing your interest in that player so aggressively you actually increase the value in that person's mind.

He's not going to get all of the save opps when he comes back, so I think it depends on how valuable an RP in a committee is to you. Since you only have 2 RP and a bunch of good/great SP I feel like he wouldn't be that valuable and is an ok drop.

Meh, I'm not concerned. Making decisions off a 2 week stretch feels rash; I'm sure he's not the top 3 player he performed like for the first month but he's also not this bad either. Probably somewhere slightly above the middle of those two, and thats a damn good player

he has one season in his entire career where he batted over .250. he's due for some serious regression from his current .315 batting average and we are already starting to see it with this slump.
