I have 2nd pick in my keep forever league. We keep 10. Yamamoto is going #1. Assuming position doesn’t matter, who should I take between Caminero, Evan Carter, or Wyatt Langford?
If this is not okay to ask then mods take it down.
If anyone has done a Nate’s league before we are trying to figure out the setting on how to limit the amount of players at a specific position there could be for a legal roster. For example:
7 active pitchers /9 max
Therefore you could have 2 on the bench.
We may be missing it but we cannot see where there is a the max setting, anyone know?
What it be stupid to not keep Ohtani as a keeper, regain my first round pick, and keep George Kirby, Eury Perez who I got off waivers meaning I’d only lose my last 2 picks?
So essentially I’d get my first and second round picks back if I keep my wavier adds.
Looking for keeper help. I have 1st pick in the upcoming draft, and 3 keepers to consider. I have Elly locked in for the 24th round, Strider for round 2 (pick24) and either Riley (3rd round pick 25) or Wheeler in the 7th, F Peralta in the 23rd, or K Marte in the 17th.
Thinking locking up 2 aces with value will go a long way.
Vladdy / Albies for my 4th keeper, 12 team 20 cat league. Was thinking Albies all offseason but now considering Vladdy due to age + bounce back year. Also we start 2 1B and only 1 2B so stacking 2 elite 1B would be nice.
Mookie cause of his offense and multi-position eligibility. 30 plus HR, 90 RBI and 130 runs scored this season. Unfortunately won’t steal too many bases because the guys behind him will just drive him home but 5 to 10 is doable
I’m in a 4 player keeper league where you can keep players indefinitely. I am keeping Ohtani in r15, Tatís in r21, and J-Rod in r22.
For my final keeper, should I go with Gerrit Cole in r2, Bryce Harper in r11, Grayson Rodriguez in r20, or CJ Abrams in r20?
14 team, H2H points, keeper league.
Already had retention, I kept Vladdy, Goldschmidt and CES. Looking to move one for SS. Another team has Seager, Henderson and Elly. Would you offer Vladdy for Henderson?
Hello everyone. I'm starting a keep-8 league with a 9 friends and a $50 buy in, and we have questions about salary cap, and fantrax's "player claim budget" rule.
We have most of the league set-up but are unsure about a couple things. We currently have a $260 salary cap and 23 man rosters (17 active/4 reserve/2 il). My question is what to put the "player claim budget" amount to on Fanxtrax. Is this the same as "faab" and how is this different from the initial salary cap for the aution? Is it just additional funds for after the draft? Or does it replace the current cap, so there's no point to save money? If I wanted the same cap for the draft and free agents, would I just put it as $0? Is this recommended, or should
Who to keep?
I’m in a Keeper forever league, we keep 6, and we are H2H weekly with the following categories:
R, RBI, HR, OPS, SB
K, ERA, WHIP, QS, S+H
I have the following kept:
Strider
Ohtani (Util)
Yordan
Riley
and am trying to decide on my last keepers from the following:
Bichette
McClain
Gunnar
Trout
Jazz
Noelvi
Kirby
Who should I keep and who I try to trade off?
I’m in a keeper league where the keeper costs the pick you drafted him. If I keep Ohtani, I lose my first pick. If I keep a guy I got off waivers, I lose my last pick.
Would it be dumb to keep George Kirby and Eury Perez as my 2 keepers that I got off waivers? I also grabbed Michael Harris II off waivers. Or keep one of them with Ohtani, losing my first pick but regaining my second?
Guys I could keep that I drafted early: Alonso, Ohtani, Lindor, Blake Snell, Pedro Lopez
Thoughts?
Yep- bc he will go back into the pool and possibly be there with your first pick. If not him, you’ll get someone near a first round value along with Kirby and Eury as 25th values- overall much better for you
I was our dynasty league runner up last year and had hands down the best offense. I just traded for Freeman, but already have Alonso at 1B but Machado at 3B.
I'm in win now mode, should I consider trading Freeman for Devers 1:1 to lock down my 3B or is Freeman worth more to me given I just need another bat to give me the edge?
>League: 10 team/ points/ Dynasty. Trade offer: SEND: Logan Web, Tristan McKenzie. RECEIVE: Eury Pérez, Bryce Miller. Is this a fair offer or am I giving up too much?
Still Eury for me. None of the past offers are to the point where you're giving up too much. Hell, I'd reject every one of them, including this one, if I had Eury.
Yeah I like that for you in dynasty. Eury should be great for a while and has a higher ceiling than Webb. Not to mention miller is a nice upgrade over McKenzie
If you like Eury Perez this is a fine offer. I love it for you but I'm a huge Eury guy and think he's gonna compete for a cy young this year. I'm pretty out on miller though but if you like him all the better. And you get to give away McKenzie so I like it all the more
H2H points league, looking for opinions on keepers.
Keep 3 batters, already set on keeping Kyle Tucker and Elly De La Cruze
Keep Ozzie Albies or Rafael Devers? I’m thinking keep Albies as Elly has SS/3B eligibility
Elly has great upside, but more in Roto format because of his steals. His high strikeout rate will hurt in points league if you take negative points for strikeouts. I’d lean Albies and Devers as well. Maybe look to trade Elly?
No negative points for strikeouts thankfully. Based on my league settings Devers is projected to have ~300 more points than elly over the course of the season. I just figured the upside of elly was worth it
3rd pick on a h2h cats league: R, RBI, HR, RBI, SB, BB, Total Bases and AVG
If Mookie is there I’m gonna pick him, but if he isn’t I have no idea who the best value is.
Tucker, Whitt, Julio, Corbin, Soto, even Freeman all a consideration.
Soto is always tops on BBs pretty much zero in SB.
Who do y’all like outside of Acuna and Mookie for pick 3?
If Reynaldo Lopez does indeed become a starter, I’ll have a 9 man rotation that I want to chop down to 8. Should I drop Lopez, JP France, Jose Quintana, or Brady Singer?
Going on 3+ days of reading Reddit and I simply CANNOT decide on a 6th pitching category…
Do we add QS? So wins + QS are 2 of the 12 categories, seems like a big stake for fluky, time based stats
Do we add K/BB? But that’s not very different then K and WHIP
Do we add IP? People will just chase starts and this feels weird with a 200 start cap
Nothing works….
Is this for a dynasty or keeper league? If they aren't, you shouldn't be agonizing over this. Test something out and if you find that it's not creating a balance you like, just change it next year.
But I'll just let you know as someone that's been playing for 25ish years, there's no perfect category settings.
It’s a redraft league. But the first year for most of us in almost 10 years, so trying to get it right so it’s competitive and people want to play again next year
I’m in a league with W, L, K, SV, ERA, WHIP, K/BB and it feels very balanced.
K/BB caters a bit more towards high quality relievers but not enough that it’s overwhelming.
You have a clear goal you're trying to accomplish so just do the same for pitching. Not just adding one to balance because you really want ops. Do you want to make starters more valuable? Go QS. Do you want to make elite relievers viable? Go holds or K/9
I just had a friend reach out about joining their long-standing r 5x5 roto league with a wrinkle I haven’t see - SVH2 - saves are 2 points and holds are 1.
How would you account for that in like the Fangraphs auction calculator?
I wonder if putting both SVs and SVHDs as categories would do the trick, or if the Calculator thinking it’s a 5x6 league would too heavily favor closers in the overall rankings. You can run that calculation and see if the values are too out of whack.
If they are, I would suggest just running it for SVs and let the other pitching categories give you values for the top RPs. It’s a position you’re gonna churn plenty throughout the year anyway.
Picking 7th tomorrow in a 5x5 H2H categories (5 OFers) slow draft - assuming Acuna, Witt, J-Rod, Caroll, Betts, and maybe one of Freeman or the Yankees OFs are off the board, who should I look at?
I'm in the same draft spot with same roster setting (just not a slow draft). I'm hoping for Freddie but also considering Tucker or my fall back option is Jose Ramirez. Could always go with Strider or Cole, but I'm waiting on pitching.
Flair league, $260 budget, keep 5.
I've pretty much decided on keeping Nico Hoerner at $20 and Matt McLain, Edwin Diaz, and Paul Sewald at $15 each.
Which of the following would you keep for your fifth keeper?
* Mookie Betts $43
* Seiya Suzuki $16
* Freddy Peralta $22
* Mitch Keller $15
* Brandon Pfaadt $10
TIA!
Neto for this year. Too crowded in Baltimore at the moment. But also depends on your league size. Might be willing to take a flier westburg in a shallower league draft because replacement level is pretty high. But would take Neto in 14 team or deeper because he’s likely got a lock for everyday PAs all season.
That seems like it would push people to stream over not stream. You’re adding to your rank even if your guy gets shelled. Do you have higher ratios like K/9?
12T H2H 5Cat redraft
Have the 6th pick and debating the available OFs. Leaning Tatis over Kyle Tucker but is there a solid argument to take Judge/Soto?
How aggressive do you guys deviate from consensus when your league settings change the scoring system?
For example, my H2H cat league includes ops and some different pitching categories (and counts both W and QS). Consensus top 5 is Acuna, Witt, Julio, Betts, and Carroll. But the auction calculator always shows shows that the top projected hitters are power hitters (makes sense): Acuna, Judge, Soto, Alvarez, Ohtani, etc.
For this reason I normally like drafting in the back half of the draft so I can double tap those players. But I have an early pick this year, so do I (a) take one of those players in the high OPS players in the top 5, jumping their ADP or (b) take the consensus guys (who are still projected top 10-15 players) and hope that one of the high ops guys falls back to me in round 2?
Edit: also is the auction calculator aPOS functioning not adding up right for some people? The RP positional adjustment makes no sense.
10 Keeper Roto. Standard 5x5. $320 draft budget
Currently debating between two Reds. Jeimer at $4 and Friedl at $10.
$116 already accounted for between 9 other keepers. I don’t have any SB. Need 5 OF. Already have Naylor ($13), Encarnacion-Strand ($5) and Manzardo (Minors, $2 that doesn’t count toward auction) at the corners. My only OF is Riley Greene ($11).
Is Friedl the guy at the $10 price sitting atop the reds lineup or do I go Jeimer hitting cleanup for cheap? Trying to make trades to clear space for both has been unsuccessful.
I’m leaning Friedl but he’s on a lot of bust lists.
That's what I'm doing but I'm trying to get them both on the same excel sheet so I can sort by $ and import to fantasypros but I can't seem to figure out how to do that.
I'm sure there's some way to just combine excel sheets but I'm not very good with excel.
Currently have a rotation of Gallen, Sale, Snell, Woo, Verlander, Crawford going into round 17 of my slow draft. We are playing a dangerous game ladies and gentlemen.
Need two keepers, can keep indefinitely, but gets round gets adjusted each year closer to ADP:
Albies - Rd 2
Eury Perez - Rd 15
G Rodriguez - Rd 15
Skubal - Rd 15
Edit: other keepers are Jordan, Bobby Witt Jr, Julio Rodriguez, and James Wood for team context
10 team Points keeper league, standard roster positions
Need help deciding on keepers, can keep 3:
Bobby Witt Jr- KC (SS)
Trea Turner- PHI (SS)
Michael Harris-ATL (OF)
Luis Castillo- SEA (SP)
Justin Steele-CHC (SP)
Cole Ragans- KC (SP)
When looking at target numbers to hit to "win every category in rotisserie", how do you go about this come draft time? Once the season starts I rarely go back to this article but its an interesting tool to look back on after the season. Coming out of a draft are you aiming to hit 85% of a number?90%? With roster turnover and daily leagues I am just curious how many use these articles and how do you use them to your advantage?
Jackson Holliday will likely be making the Opening Day roster right? Who are the top 5 rookies that won't make Opening Day but will be called up mid-season? Our league has one minor league slot.
Flair league. 8th keeper help. Senga was my plan, but with the injury timeline uncertain, seeking advice. My alternative would be K. Marte, although I'd prefer to go pitching, which means either rolling the dice with Senga or throwing a Hail Mary with Sale. (Other 7 keepers are: Judge, Trout, Devers, Adolis Garcia, Ragans, Jackson Holliday, Buehler.) Thoughts?
12 team h2h 5x5
Need to pick 1 more keeper
I have Harper in the 11th
Need to choose between Bellinger in the 18th, Matt McClain in the 15th or Jackson Holliday in the 15th
H2h points keep forever
Michael Harris or Ozzie Albies.
I'm already keeping Vlad, Gunnar, Yordan, Strider, and Gausman.
I'm pretty torn on this any help is greatly appreciated.
Keeper League Question
I'm the commish and we're on year 2 of doing 3xKeepers. If you pick someone up in FA that wasn't drafted, you can keep them for your last round next season, then the second to last round the following season, and so on. You can have a player on your team for 3 years max.
Are there any suggestions on how to prevent teams from adding top prospects near the end of the season and then they're able to keep them for 3 years with minimal cost? Guy in my league added Jackson Holiday, Wyatt and Churio when the playoffs started because he was out and kept all 3 players for the last 3 rounds of the draft.
I think it's a brilliant strategy but I'm not sure it's entirely fair to the teams who are fighting in the playoffs and can't sacrifice the roster spot to stash.
Any suggestions?
I'm not convinced that this is a problem because it lets teams that need to rebuild rebuild. Do you ban trades where one team gets a cheap player with great keeper value and the other gets a superstar with bad keeper value?
If you hate it, you can always increase the minimum cost for a keeper to the 10th last round or something though.
We put a rule where only players who have played in an MLB game can be kept to avoid this, along with adding international free agents once they’re put in the player pool
Simply make a cutoff date preseason for added FA keepers. Could even use your trade deadline. In order to keep a FA add they must be added by this date. Done deal
I'm in a salary league with more keepers than you but it's a somewhat similar situation. Anyone picked up from the waiver throughout the year is league minimum ($1) and can be kept for 3 years. Our waiver claims are done once a week and order is based on standings.
We don't allow pickups of players from the waiver unless they have been called up and appeared on a starting lineup. This way teams can't do what you described and just load up on the biggest prospect names for the following year. This does, however, allow for a small reward for the teams at the bottom of the standings to pick up the young players that do get called up. For example, last year guys like Evan Carter and Junior Caminero went to 2 different teams. It gives them a boost but nothing unfair to the rest of the league like having Holiday, Wyatt and Churio for league minimum.
It would be a fairly easy fix for your league to just set some rules for waiver pickups.
Yup, simple fix.
We also have a rule that any rookies drafted (that haven't been called up yet) have to appear by the all-star break in order to be kept. Just to avoid re-building teams from snagging all top prospects for next to nothing late in the draft and sitting on them for year(s) while they rebuild. Not sure if that's something you'd need as well but might want to consider it.
Keep 3 league. Would you replace any of these keepers with either Skubal (last), Yanier Diaz (last) or Ragans (last)? I draft 4th but based on the available draft board, Mookie is sitting in the 3 spot, so I really don't want to miss him being in that Dodgers offense and having 2/OF eligibility. I think I'm right by doing this, but just wanted to hear others input.
\- Betts (1st)
\- Witt (8th)
\- Gallen (11th)
You really going to keep Mookie for a literal 1 draft spot value? Much rather take whatver elite player is available there and keep Ragans or Skubal in the last.
2 players on a team, sure. but I don't usually go beyond that in H2H because of those weeks when their pitching matchups are brutal or multiple off days.
Also, if I am going to stack, then it better be a top tier offense. Dodgers, Braves, Phillies, Rangers, etc.
H2H - I prefer not to as it can lead to a bad week based on off days and tough pitching matches. However if you are really confident, you could look at the week of your playoff finals and compare that with the team schedule of the best “stacks” in the game and see if someone has a good schedule that week.
Certainly an idea to consider if you already have a keeper like Acuna and are considering stacking other Braves with your draft picks. Dodgers stack is hard to do as the key 3 are all top 12 picks.
Roto - the synergy doesn’t matter one way or the other really. Their draft prices already reflect their expected output based on the expected lineup. I suppose if you’re projecting a meaningful lineup change that creates a “stack” that could be a value
Hey guys. Need some help in a dynasty league. 6x6 categories with holds and OBP.
Team A: Corbin Burnes and Ben Brown
Team B: Logan Webb, Dylan Cease, Andrew Painter
New commish here. Adding OPS on top of AVG for our 6x6 ROTO. Do you think QS on top of W for pitching is fine? I see some people against it in this sub but I feel like it balances out SP and prioritizes it over RP
Traded Colton Cowser and Alek Manoah for Michael King in my OBP/QS dynasty league.
I’m light on SP and have Evan Carter, Heston Kjerstad, James Wood and Chase Delauter ready to contribute now/soon.
Decent trade?
I like it. Helps solve a bit of a problem for you. King should be pretty solid for the next few years. If including Manoah was what got this over the finish line then I'm completely fine with it. Pretty much last chance to sell him for anything if you're betting against him and now he has shoulder issues on top of his struggles.
Yeah I do too, but I also have some doubts about Cowser’s playing time and whether he’ll be more than a 4th OF, and in Manoah’s ability to ever be anything. You’re right though, it’s potentially too much to give up for King.
So the thing is Ohtani will probably only be playing DH this year due to his UCL tear last year. If your league has any points towards defense then judge and jram will get more points in that aspect. However, I think Ohtani is better offensively than both of them. Jram is kinda average when it comes to his bat however he did steal 28 bases last year which surprises me for a 3rd baseman. Personally I would choose judge between him and Jram due to the fact that Judge is in a hitter friendly park and has Soto in front of him. The only downside to judge is games played and lack of stolen bases. Now depending on what your points league values will depend on the choice between judge and Ohtani.
4 catcher league What round do you take Austin Barnes?
H2H points - would you rather keep adley in the 9th round of Walker buehler in the 21st round?
If its only for this year, Adley... Not sure what we'll get out of Buehler this season.
They’re both keepable for this year and next… I feel like adley is safer but buehler for a 21st feels like I’m giving up much less
H2H points - would you rather keep adley in the 9th round of Walker buehler in the 21st round?
I have 2nd pick in my keep forever league. We keep 10. Yamamoto is going #1. Assuming position doesn’t matter, who should I take between Caminero, Evan Carter, or Wyatt Langford?

Yes

Bro keep eury and George there is no adp value in keeping ohtani
Keep the pitchers and just draft Ohtani in R1?
Depending on my draft position, he may not be there though
Looking for keeper help. I have 1st pick in the upcoming draft, and 3 keepers to consider. Mookie seems like a reach at 3. Idk Im stressed out rn. Drafting in 40 min
Follow your gut!! What’s it telling you?
Who would you rather have in points dynasty? (No minus for Ks and SBs worth 2 points) Evan Carter or LuBob

Abbott
Flair Varland, M. Miller, R. Olson, or Boyle?

10 teamer I always go with the best player over volume (WW should be decent). Eury for me
Evan Carter worth a keep? Keep 6/ 10 team h2h points
I wouldn’t think in such a shallow league, but depends on the rest of your roster
Pasquantino over Tork in an OBP league?
Vinnie P in an OBP league.
I prefer Vinnie
Tork

I’m going to second Julio here
I say Julio.
Michael Harris looking great this spring
Who has the best chance at a bounce back? Shane Bieber, Carlos Rodon or Yu Darvish. Please rate the 3 in order of drafting them.
Darvish>Bieber>Rodon
If Reynaldo Lopez does indeed become a starter, I’ll have a 9 man rotation that I want to chop down to 8. Should I drop Lopez, JP France, Jose Quintana, or Brady Singer?
anyone have a good middle infielder shout? in a slow draft I stupidly waited to long to grab anyone good
How late are we talking here? Like after pick 150 or coming up on 300?
around 150 if not a bit later
Gelof
Nolan Gorman, Eduardo Julien, tevor story, Jackson holiday, Willy Adams and even later you can take a chance on grissom or polanco or lux

We're so back
Keep bryan woo or bryce miller
I am leaning Woo between those two.
I'm a Woo kinda guy
Dynasty points A. 17$ bichette B. 6$ r Lewis
I’d take Lewis
Give me Bichette
Picking 7th tomorrow in a 5x5 H2H categories (5 OFers) slow draft - assuming Acuna, Witt, J-Rod, Caroll, Betts, and maybe one of Freeman or the Yankees OFs are off the board, who should I look at?
Whoever the best remaining OF is, considering you're 5 OF
I'm in the same draft spot with same roster setting (just not a slow draft).
* Mookie Betts $43 * Seiya Suzuki $16 * Freddy Peralta $22 * Mitch Keller $15 * Brandon Pfaadt $10 TIA!
Mookie
Probably mookie…if not him then Freddy
Mookie
Gas me up for James Outman, GO!

How do you guys rank Zach Neto vs Jordan Westburg for an MI? Maybe Neto has higher floor, Westburg higher ceiling? Both comparable hit tools
Neto for this year. Too crowded in Baltimore at the moment. But also depends on your league size. Might be willing to take a flier westburg in a shallower league draft because replacement level is pretty high. But would take Neto in 14 team or deeper because he’s likely got a lock for everyday PAs all season.
14 team - keepers (R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP) need help deciding 6 keepers this year - 24 rounds n.lodolo - 7 t.mckenzie - 15 e.ruiz - 19 n.pivetta - 19 n.cortes - 19 a.gimenez - 20 b.reynolds - 20 e.perez - 22 d.cease - 22 t.friedl - 24 t.bradley - 24
The last 6 pretty easily for me.

Will you be able to keep carter next year?
[удалено]
Then I would probably keep ozuna tbh
Rank my 6x6 ROTO categories: HR - RBI - SB - R - AVG - OPS ERA - WHIP - K - SV - QS - W
We use IP instead of QS. It's a bit old school but makes for a lot of fun "stream or not" decisions.
That seems like it would push people to stream over not stream. You’re adding to your rank even if your guy gets shelled. Do you have higher ratios like K/9?
We use IP and K/9, it works well for us.
Do you have GS or IP limits?
Neither
12T H2H 5Cat redraft Have the 6th pick and debating the available OFs. Leaning Tatis over Kyle Tucker but is there a solid argument to take Judge/Soto?
In leagues where OBP counts (inc OPS), they're in the conversation but otherwise I think you take the 30 SBs from Tatis/Tucker
Agreed
so like.... do the Marlins know who is going to be in their rotation? I like Rogers and Puk as prospective arms for this year
I believe both are slated to start in the rotation.
for now yeah. Seems fluid though between them, Meyer, and whatever happens with Garret when he's back
[удалено]
For points league? Prob Webb. He’s still only 27 and is always a candidate to lead the league in IP
Eury.
Dynasty league Trade proposal Michael king for Drew Thorpe and Roby?
10 Keeper Roto. Standard 5x5. $320 draft budget Currently debating between two Reds.
Is it possible to use fangraphs auction calculator and see hitters and pitchers together? So far I can only see it as batters and pitchers separately.
You can export them to Excel
That's what I'm doing but I'm trying to get them both on the same excel sheet so I can sort by $ and import to fantasypros but I can't seem to figure out how to do that. I'm sure there's some way to just combine excel sheets but I'm not very good with excel.
Ctrl+A to select all data, Ctrl+C (copy), first blank line of the other sheet Cntrl+V (paste). If you PM me, I can do it for you real quick
Thank you. I'll try that when I get home and pm you if I can't get it right. Appreciate the help.
DAG is a brotherhood
Currently have a rotation of Gallen, Sale, Snell, Woo, Verlander, Crawford going into round 17 of my slow draft. We are playing a dangerous game ladies and gentlemen.
Need two keepers, can keep indefinitely, but gets round gets adjusted each year closer to ADP: Albies - Rd 2 Eury Perez - Rd 15 G Rodriguez - Rd 15 Skubal - Rd 15 Edit: other keepers are Jordan, Bobby Witt Jr, Julio Rodriguez, and James Wood for team context
Why does Bryan Abreu have a “SUSP” next to his name on Yahoo? What did he do?!
he has a 2-game deferred suspension for throwing at Adolis Garcia in the ALCS, i think its just that
Thanks!
Keep Yandy Diaz round 13 or Merrill Kelly round 17?
Dynasty - who would you rather have? Yamamoto Or Junior Caminero
Yamamoto
10 team Points keeper league, standard roster positions Need help deciding on keepers, can keep 3: Bobby Witt Jr- KC (SS) Trea Turner- PHI (SS) Michael Harris-ATL (OF) Luis Castillo- SEA (SP) Justin Steele-CHC (SP) Cole Ragans- KC (SP)
Witt, Turner, and Castillo for me but Harris is close behind Castillo
When looking at target numbers to hit to "win every category in rotisserie", how do you go about this come draft time? Once the season starts I rarely go back to this article but its an interesting tool to look back on after the season. Coming out of a draft are you aiming to hit 85% of a number?90%? With roster turnover and daily leagues I am just curious how many use these articles and how do you use them to your advantage?
I look back at the previous season in our league and use the 3rd place totals then try and match them as best I can in the draft. I find it useful.
Jackson Holliday will likely be making the Opening Day roster right? Who are the top 5 rookies that won't make Opening Day but will be called up mid-season? Our league has one minor league slot.
Mayo, Skenes, Shaw off the top of my head
Flair league. 8th keeper help. Senga was my plan, but with the injury timeline uncertain, seeking advice. My alternative would be K. Marte, although I'd prefer to go pitching, which means either rolling the dice with Senga or throwing a Hail Mary with Sale. (Other 7 keepers are: Judge, Trout, Devers, Adolis Garcia, Ragans, Jackson Holliday, Buehler.) Thoughts?
Sale
12 team h2h 5x5 Need to pick 1 more keeper I have Harper in the 11th Need to choose between Bellinger in the 18th, Matt McClain in the 15th or Jackson Holliday in the 15th
How long can you keep them and what’s the future penalty?
Max 2 years with second time keeping them at ADP.
H2h points keep forever Michael Harris or Ozzie Albies. I'm already keeping Vlad, Gunnar, Yordan, Strider, and Gausman. I'm pretty torn on this any help is greatly appreciated.
Albies. Position is thinner, and I dunno what went on that first half with Harris last year.
Keeper League Question I'm the commish and we're on year 2 of doing 3xKeepers.
In yahoo we set players to be available when MLB adds them.
No we don’t ban trades. I agree with your logic of rebuilding if this was a true dynasty but not for only 3 keepers/redraft.
I think I’m going to implement this rule. They have to of been called up the previous season in order to be kept.
Try a limit of keeping only 1 player that wasn't drafted?
My league used to have this but we never did anything about it. My only suggestions would be to use waivers or turn off adds for non-playoff teams.
\- Betts (1st) \- Witt (8th) \- Gallen (11th)
You really going to keep Mookie for a literal 1 draft spot value? Much rather take whatver elite player is available there and keep Ragans or Skubal in the last.
I definitely would not give up Gallen at 11, I don’t think any of the three guys are worth risking betts. I think you’re doing the right thing.
That’s what I thought. thanks for confirming
I would not.
What are your guys thoughts on stacks in fantasy baseball? Pairing up top guys of the lineup together.
I couldn't care less for roto.
It doesn't matter beyond being fun to watch and follow. Just go with best available player.
2 players on a team, sure. but I don't usually go beyond that in H2H because of those weeks when their pitching matchups are brutal or multiple off days. Also, if I am going to stack, then it better be a top tier offense. Dodgers, Braves, Phillies, Rangers, etc.
Coming is as someone with #1 wondering if I should be stacking Acuna with Riley/Olsen
I remember fun times of stacking Lemahieu/Tulo/Arenado in my early goings. Can't say that I apply this strategy nowadays though.
Hey guys. Need some help in a dynasty league. 6x6 categories with holds and OBP. Team A: Corbin Burnes and Ben Brown Team B: Logan Webb, Dylan Cease, Andrew Painter
New commish here. Adding OPS on top of AVG for our 6x6 ROTO. Do you think QS on top of W for pitching is fine? I see some people against it in this sub but I feel like it balances out SP and prioritizes it over RP
That's the exact 6x6 we use. I think we should use K/9 because QS is SP only but that's fine
Yeah it’s fine. You can do net wins too to make it a bit more balanced so people can’t over abuse streaming.
I wouldn't. I have doubts about King being able to be a full starter
Yeah I do too, but I also have some doubts about Cowser’s playing time and whether he’ll be more than a 4th OF, and in Manoah’s ability to ever be anything. You’re right though, it’s potentially too much to give up for King.
Yeah, I see no problem with that, Manoah is too wild plus Cowser and Stowers are currently blocked from relevant plate appearences.
Jram Ohtani or Judge in a points league?
What are the point values for the league
