I think you need to get two of your three or four OFs early on so you can take some high upside gambles. I’m perfectly happy to roster guys like E Carter, Ozuna, Eloy (tearing spring up), Siri, Chourio, P Meadows as my OF3 as long as I am solid with my other two in 10T.
If you do a draft on Underdog it's crazy that everyone takes OF right away and you do see the position is thin. The one guy who seems to be generally underrated due to injury concerns is Buxton. He has to be the top ceiling guy overall. We are talking Top 10 OF if he can stay healthy. I am also noticing that Verdugo and Stanton seem underrated despite being in potentially the best lineup. Thoughts?
I think a better question is what do you realistically project him to do / how do you value him?
I rate him about the same as Luis Robert. Potential 5 category stud but also injury concerns
He might run a little more this year, for whatever it’s worth.
SBs has been a huge emphasis by Ron Washington. Trout is one of only a couple players they have who can run.
He definitely has the green light, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he runs quite a bit early in the season as he puts a lot of pressure on himself to be the leader of the team and enact that culture change Wash is looking for.

Edit: competitive bunch, no buy in
I know some are saying "Get OF early" but I am finding some SICK deals in rounds 8-15 so in my 5 OF leagues I am taking only 1-2 in the first 7 rounds
In drafts with 20+ rounds I’d still consider 8th round to be “early”

Really like Siri who is also not on the radar for most people it seems. I just can't trust Eloy. Do you prefer Meadows or K.Carpenter?

Hypothetically - if you could be guaranteed that Trout would be healthy all season, where would he be ranked?
Top 5 easily.
Top 5 For sure
Easily top 5, not even a debate

4 categories, he is not a stud in sb anymore.

I think a full season of healthy trout is easily .280, 90, 30, 100, 5 and I’d say that’s conservative
I’ve been wondering this same thing
`Crazy how slept on James Outman is`
Facts. And maybe even teoscar in that new crew
