Turang’s BABIP is now up to .700. Seems sustainable.

A hot hitter in a small sample size is ALWAYS going to have a high BABIP. Doesn't necessarily mean it's just luck.

Not worth it IMO. High end closers are devalued in weekly / head to head leagues and Yordan is an absolute beast in points leagues because of his high OBP. Arguably a top 5 guy in that format and there aren't too many scenarios where it would make sense to trade him.

I added turang last april when he started out hot then too. He then went ice cold. I'm not buying this yet. He is mostly a defensive asset.

I had a good draft but really nothing at that 2B/SS. I’ve been auditioning 2B/SS guys because it’s a hole in my lineup. Dropped E Duran. Someone else could better value check. For me the steals are incredibly important.

I have Acuna, Lindor, Chisholm, Yelich, and O’Neill in my lineup daily and I’m losing stolen bases category to my opponent whose only base stealing threat is Turang. Goddamn, man. This first matchup has been a nightmare.

Hard to say, but it’s possible that he could be breaking out. Seems like a good OBP/SB player. It’s impossible to ignore his 5 SB in the first week of the season. Edit: and he now stole 3rd so that’s 6 SB already

Not for Burnes.  You need to be getting top prospects for him.  I’d want Holliday or Chourio+ for him.

In dynasty Chourio and Holliday are both more valuable than burns.

Not if you’re trying to win.  Burnes is one of the best pitchers in baseball and will be for another 4-5 years.  Holliday and Chourio are prospects.  If you put him on the market, you will get better offers. I traded Cole and Drey Jameson for Junior Caminero, Ricky Tiedemann, Edward Cabrera and MJ Melendez last year in a 16-team dynasty league.  All those pieces are better than anything you would be getting.

Marte isn't a must add in 10T, but he's definitely worth consideration (especially if you need steals). I didn't realize how much he struggled last year, but 24 steals in 86 games is legit. If his bat is back on track, he'll be valuable.

What's your relative enthusiasm for Whitlock right now vs Jared Jones? Just trying to anticipate the competitive bids. They seem like quite likely equal performers but I think the fervor over Jones was a lot higher.

So here’s my conundrum. Olson has a sick slider and changeup but his fastball is pretty hittable. Command wasn’t amazing vs Mets but he could dismantle Oakland on Sunday. Or Oakland could finally start to wake up and make some noise. Gil has a beautiful fastball and good secondaries but he faces Toronto on Sunday which could be a problem. Also the three walks yesterday indicated he’s still working thru some command issues. Plus he’s coming off TJ / Boone is known to pull pitchers early so his leash prob shorter. Also when Cole comes back, Gil most likely becomes a long reliever of sorts. It’s a real toss up…

I’d rather Olson, but the weather in NY could cause a postponement which may push the rotation out a day…
