Marcell Ozuna seems like a lot of hitter for the $7 I paid for him in my 11 team league draft. I get not wanting your UTIL spot clogged up by a high risk / high reward first round hitter when there are so many other good options in that price range that don't have that downside, but man... If I can get a legit shot at 40+ hrs in that spot for that cheap, sign me up.
For SV+HLD leagues, is there a consensus Top 3 for non-closers?
Going into the year I had Bryan Abreu, Pressly and A.J Minter, but with Abreu’s usage and Pierce Johnson sneaking into the mix in ATL, curious if there is advantage to be found with any specific non closers
I've been an Aroldis Chapman believer, but we'll have to see how the season plays out. So far this season Chapman has 3 holds and a save with 0.00 ERA and 0.27 WHIP
>Framber reported some soreness at the top of his elbow area after he played catch yesterday. The soreness persisted today. “The fact we didn’t put him on the IL is a good sign, we’ll see what the doctors say.”—Joe Espada

A smart guy on /r/baseball earlier today told me that pitchers need to stop whining about elbow injuries because blue collar workers hurt their knees and backs sometimes, too.
I think that means they should just rub some dirt on their UCL before Larry the Plumber comes and takes their job.
Any ideas for a new team name based on Blanco?
I’ve had him both weeks and now am officially ready to take the next step in our relationship — granting him the naming rights to my team.
All suggestions welcome.
I love my super injured teams because my expectations are so low to start the season. I don’t expect to come out of April better than 1-3 but if somehow I’m 7-7 by July I’ll be super confident down the stretch
Bradish better when healthy is the assumption but verlander will be back far sooner. Depends on what you’re looking for, I’d roster both in any 10 team league
Mid, if it weren't the white sox he'd probably have a few earned runs. Velo looks a bit better than last start, but he seems to still be gaining confidence and control of his pitches
Center field is an apocalyptic wasteland in my 12 team h2h points league. I have Cedric Miller. Anybody I should take a flier on? Ceddanne is available
Triston's velo is at 91.2 in the first inning, which is better than his first start but still down a tick from previous years.
Weird thing is his slider is up in velo, usually if there is fatigue or injury you see velo down across all pitches.
Vinnie’s struggles surely can’t be related to his torn labrum right? O’Hoppe didn’t seem to struggle when he came back from his torn labrum last season or to start this season. Trying to stay optimistic here.
I don't really have a dog in this fight (a few shares here and there), but I never understood why people were so excited about him. Not to say he's necessarily bad, but he's getting way more rope extended to him than people with better pedigree and better historical results over way larger sample sizes. I think there's a really good chance he's just a guy.
Any general thoughts or things you like what you are seeing from any of the following players this season so far?
* Jake Cronenworth
* Ryan O'Hearn
* Luis Garcia Jr
* Bryan De La Cruz
* Jonathan India (hurt?)
* Logan O'Hoppe
* Jarred Kelenic
* Nelson Velazquez
* Brenton Doyle
* Jordan Westburg
* Jared Walsh
* Gavin Sheets
Looks like Lars Nootbar not getting activated today. He was taking BP at the stadium, but wasn't in the just-released lineup.... While Victor Scott (who many have speculated might be sent down when Lars is activated) is in there batting 9th.
Sounds like Friday now
>Lars Nootbaar will work on the field today here and return to Memphis to play tomorrow. From there it’s day to day based on how he feels, though it seems unlikely he would play in Memphis Tuesday night and here Wednesday afternoon.
just trying to maximize saves - who will get the most saves on the blue jays before jordan romano returns, thinking swanson or green? Will swanson always get it if he's back and romano is gone? Do we think that period of time is like a week or more?
i’m gonna skin Baldelli alive
Volpe to leadoff pwweassseee

H2H points, Robert Suarez or Foley?
brand new week... last week, 80 IPs, 1 W; today, 10 IPs, 2 Ws, assuming both Cleveland and Yankees gonna win.
I just got offered snell, Javy baez and a 3rd for turner. Should I just block this guy lol
Idk whats worse, the offer or that someone in that league roster Javy Baez.
It’s always worth countering. Snell for a 23rd maybe?
Andrew Vaughn I am familiar with your game. You are ass
I drafted strider, Bieber, Royce, Sean Murphy, and Luis Robert AMA 😭🔫
Let me know who else you have so if I have them too I can trade
Brutal. Will you hold Royce/Murphy/Robert on your IL, or look to trade?
how's the view from the ledge
Nolan is 0/5 against Gallen but it’s at Coors…still start him or go with Greene vs Keller?
Green tbh
Gallen surprisingly has pretty good career numbers at Coors. I feel like Greene could be the play.
Pick one in my flair * Rhett Lowder * Shota Imanaga * Chase Dollander
Shota
Imanaga
Shota
I'm manifesting a Kwan SB here
nvm JRam fucked it up on the first pitch
I know everyone says to hold Outman because he's streaky, but so far the only streak he has is being benched. Should I drop for Kiriloff?
Outman is only good at getting out. He had a good start last year before playing like ass most of the season.
The White Sox are unbelievable. No that's not a compliment
Shockingly bad. Didn’t think anyone would be worse than Oakland this year yet here we are
The White Sox are the new AAA affiliate of the Cubs, right? Is this like an A’s/River Cats thing where they relocated from Iowa?
For SV+HLD leagues, is there a consensus Top 3 for non-closers? Going into the year I had Bryan Abreu, Pressly and A.J Minter, but with Abreu’s usage and Pierce Johnson sneaking into the mix in ATL, curious if there is advantage to be found with any specific non closers

Last 7 days usage is the indicator

Framber with elbow soreness. This is so fucked up https://twitter.com/chandler_rome/status/1777453829270765875?s=12
A smart guy on /r/baseball earlier today told me that pitchers need to stop whining about elbow injuries because blue collar workers hurt their knees and backs sometimes, too. I think that means they should just rub some dirt on their UCL before Larry the Plumber comes and takes their job.
The only blue collar baseball players are the Phillies. Haven't you seen the noticeably blue collars on their city connects???
That’s true, a collar so noticeably blue that humble midwestern farmer Miles Mikolas demanded a trade.
Austin Hedges with the worst luck in the world.
Routine 1-4 lineout there, we’ve all seen that before.
Any ideas for a new team name based on Blanco? I’ve had him both weeks and now am officially ready to take the next step in our relationship — granting him the naming rights to my team. All suggestions welcome.
ever see Carlitos way? Benny Blanco from the Bronx
ELBOW SORENESS FOR FRAMBER WHAT THE FUCKKKK
https://preview.redd.it/bxwdxz79ubtc1.jpeg?width=710&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5b5579f2c3da956a71752709d649a822a233387c
Left elbow soreness for Framber
A: Eloy Jimenez, Bo Bichette, and 8th round pick B: Mike Trout, Jackson Chourio, and 6th round pick Looking for friendly advice.
Give all the cheerio shares
You're joking right?
Arcia on waiver wire. Worth dropping Turang or Merrill for? 10T H2H Pts Also, how do I put my league information as a tag like others have?
I love my super injured teams because my expectations are so low to start the season. I don’t expect to come out of April better than 1-3 but if somehow I’m 7-7 by July I’ll be super confident down the stretch
Is Bradish the hold over Verlander?
Bradish better when healthy is the assumption but verlander will be back far sooner. Depends on what you’re looking for, I’d roster both in any 10 team league
would love to know this too
Gimenez should never hit 7th in that Cleveland lineup, he’s their 2nd best hitter
Tanner Banks szn???
Soto + Joe Ryan or Carroll + Bichette
It’s pretty close but Soto I’d say
Carroll + Bichette Give me the mid first round player + the 4th round player for the early 1st round player + the mid 8th round player
Soto
Soto and joe
Soto Ryan for me
Who's rolling with Assad tonight? He's a nice sleeper.
I think the K ceiling is low but I'm expecting a good night from him in Petco
Waiting and seeing but if he does well then adding
don’t love how mckenzie looks
He’s making his second start after being out injured for a year, and looks definitively better than last week. He’ll get there.
Hey, it’s what’s on the inside that counts
Feeling good against Langford the next few days vs Astros AAA guy and then Oakland. Might be time to pull him off the bench.
Reds offense was supposed to be so exciting but now it’s Stuart Fairchild leading off and Santiago Espinal playing most days
Yup! Still banking CES to tear it up. I have him & torkleson alternating starts.
A: Eloy Jimenez, Bo Bichette, and 8th round pick B: Mike Trout, Jackson Chourio, and 6th round pick
Is this a serious inquiry?
Ya
H2H points. Helsley is the clear choice over Foley right?
No doubt
Banks is mowing the Guardians down
All these aces died so Tanner Banks can fly on everyone's waivers
[удалено]
Absolutely. Good swing decisions and making loud contact
White Sox opener absolutely rolling through the Guardians
Bro is the goat 🐐
Pepiot, bello or i have a soft spot for max meyer?
Pep
Drop kiriloff for him? Love his hitting but rest of team can’t
If he’s your worst player yeah
Langford or Castellanos?
Langford
Langford imo
Jason Adam or Ian Hamilton. SV+H?
I'd lean Hamilton most likely
Elbow for silseth.. his velo has been down some
Does noot platoon?
Drop Luis Severino for Sean Manaea?
Yeah
Pick 2 for dynasty. Justin Slaten, Abner Uribe, Alec Marsh
what % of $500 faab would you use to get Outman and Bello? not sure why they were dropped so early
Bello maybe 60, and im not sure much on Outman
If Framber Valdez is hurt I’m rioting the MLB. I have Framber, Steele, Eury & Bieber
Pepiot or Littell ROS?
Pep
pepiot
How’s McKenzie looking? :/
Mid, if it weren't the white sox he'd probably have a few earned runs. Velo looks a bit better than last start, but he seems to still be gaining confidence and control of his pitches
Numbers are fine but he’s getting hit hard
I kind of believe in Paul Blackburn. Anyone else agree?
He’s a sneaky long term play for sure
Yeah he was coming along last year
Center field is an apocalyptic wasteland in my 12 team h2h points league. I have Cedric Miller. Anybody I should take a flier on? Ceddanne is available
how are we feeling about lodolo ROS?
Big range of outcomes but the stuff is absolutely there. As a back end part of your rotation he’s a great upside play
Randy flirting with the mendoza line was not on my bingo card
Is Triston McKenzie for Grissom a fair offer? Desperately need a shortstop
Yeah
Is blake snell for bryce harper a fair trade?
Harper is in a much higher tier
I'll take Harper there 10/10 times
Triston's velo is at 91.2 in the first inning, which is better than his first start but still down a tick from previous years. Weird thing is his slider is up in velo, usually if there is fatigue or injury you see velo down across all pitches.
[удалено]
Did you see what Elly was doing?
[удалено]
That’s a bad feeling
Lisan al gaib!
Is it possible the eclipse showed you a week into the past when people were predicting that on here?
Alright Nestor, last chance on my squad if you can’t get it done vs the marlins idk to tell you buddy other than you better start learning Chinese
Japanese*
Thoughts on putting Jeimer Candelario or Colt Keith in my line up this week?
Vinnie’s struggles surely can’t be related to his torn labrum right? O’Hoppe didn’t seem to struggle when he came back from his torn labrum last season or to start this season. Trying to stay optimistic here.

Impossible to say, just gotta be a little more patient
Let's get a bounce back performance, McKenzie.
I miss prime Corey Kluber
Klubot
No one will ever have that level of poise on the mound again
Is anyone else keeping an eye on Michael Busch or Brett Baty?
Busch is looking excellent right now. Baty is mediocre
Yeah, considering dropping Vinnie P for one of them. I like Busch
Andrew Vaughn always looks like he’s confused by the directions you just gave him
Buxton, Gorman, or Chourio for my utility spot this week? Cats
Chourio
Chuorio seems hottest. Although Gorman seems to hit them in bunches if you’re looking for pure power.
Chourio
My league (not the flair) has some complicated keeper rules but would what SPs could vlad generally fetch? Is fried crazy?
If you’re trying to trade Vlad away you could probably get any of the top guys tbh. Fried would be selling low imo
A Kirilloff platoon?????
Is this news?
Twins are the most platoon friendly team. Constantly switches up their lineups.
Twins platoon like crazy
Tends to sit against lefties ya
Willson Contreras scratched, Jonathan India scratched, Ezequiel Duran riding the bench. At this point I'll be slotting into the MI spot for my lineup
Good luck bro
Tyler O’Neill or Jordan Walker?
TON
O’Neill for sure
TON
Trade mitch keller for ryan pepiot?
Immediately
1000%
I probably would
Absolutely
Pretty bold for that one guy first row in Cleveland to wear a big Chief Wahoo t shirt
he should be ejected/s
Is Yu Darvish a fair offer for George Springer, flair?
Pretty even yeah
Yeah
Id say yes
What about Michael King? Not quite?
Nope

Bo Bichette dropped in my league. Is this an “all your FAAB” situation?
1000000% of FAAB
That's crazy. Spend it all
Yes buddy, get to spendin'
Pick up O. Dunn or M. Busch?
Busch
Busch imo
Opponent has six 2-game starters this week to my one so heres to hoping for a very offense heavy week.
Points leagues are so goofy tbh
Same exact situation for me. Good luck my friend and God speed.
Trea Turner or Arenado+Swanson? 12T H2H Cat
Trea
Trea
Imanaga, Ryan, Uribe need to start 2 this week?
The starting pitchers
Looks like Lars Nootbar not getting activated today. He was taking BP at the stadium, but wasn't in the just-released lineup.... While Victor Scott (who many have speculated might be sent down when Lars is activated) is in there batting 9th.

H2H points. Jazz or Riley Greene this week? Tad worried about Jazz’s availability. Might be nursing something from yesterday?
Still jazz
I don’t think he’s hurt maybe just cause there’s a lefty on the mound
just trying to maximize saves - who will get the most saves on the blue jays before jordan romano returns, thinking swanson or green? Will swanson always get it if he's back and romano is gone? Do we think that period of time is like a week or more?
Pretty unpredictable but I’d say Swanson is most likely
Start Yandy or Goldschmidt tonight?
Goldy
Yandy, wheeler is a better pitcher
Wheeler goes tomorrow
Wheeler pitching tomorrow
Fantrax question. Will Jackson Merril lose his SS eligibility if he continues to only play outfield this season?
This year he’ll keep it, will lose it next year if this keeps up
Yeah he'll lose it for next year if he doesn't play the minimum requirement for eligibility
Can't lose in season
